The we loooooove Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek Part 4

PR is its own inventory and has special floors in the top of tower six. The floors are key carded and you cant get on them w/o being a guest on those floors. They have a nice game room w/ free drink station and a special viewing of the fire works, but you have to be a member to get into that room. It was fancy coffees and hot coco. It's just a few more perks to give someone buying a ton of points. When we stayed in November we were on the 18th floor I think and staying PR.

Thanks. Do you know if you are staying on a guest certificate from a Presidential Reserve owner (who isn't with you) if you are guaranteed to get on the special floors? Or can they put you in any of the Presidential units?

You would be put on PR floors I would think because if they booked in a PR category room. At time of booking they would see 3 types.. deluxe, president and PR. It would depend on what they booked. PR and presidential are the same cost in points. You just wouldnt get access to the club room/fireworks viewing area.

Has anyone rented Bonnet Creek through Vacation Upgrades?Any issues? We usually go through Vacation Strategy which has alway been good but saving over $300 with Vacation Upgrades. Staying first week of May.

I have had good experiences with Vacation Upgrades, but I thought they were retiring.
EDIT: Oops, it appears they have changed their minds!

I am hearing that Wyndham has sent out a new round of rental warning letters. I continue to urge those who are interested in staying here to rent only from Wyndham’s official rental arm, . extraholidays.com
I had a horrible issue involving extraholidays.com in November, 2023. We waited over 6 hours for a room, which Bonnet Creek claimed was not available due to overbooking. Due to persistence and many phone calls, we got a room, not a 2 bedroom deluxe that we booked, but a 1 bedroom and was charged close to $200 a night for a uncharged.
Worse rental we had in over 35 visits. Never ahmgain would I use Extraholidays.com.

We will be staying at Bonnet Creek in a couple months. Most of the time will be resort days, We do want to do a few park days so we want to rent a card. What is the best way to rent a car while staying at Bonnet Creek.

What airport are you flying into? In my experience, if you want to get a good deal on a car rental, book something that requires no upfront payment and is fully cancellable and then just keep stalking for better deals. That's what we do every trip.

My advice is to look at many of the car booking sites online, then when you find a good deal book directly with the rental car company.

If you are a member of Sam's or Costco that is also a great place to look.

Heading to WBC in April...I'm wondering if anyone has a recent bus schedule.
I don’t believe it has run in some time. It did not appear to be running during my last two trips here over Christmas and Easter. Your best options are rideshare or car rental.

Hello everybody! Here now, and even though we come pretty often, I haven't posted in awhile! :) LOL I forgot my password and had changed my email so it was difficult getting back in!! :)
They have gotten rid of the transportation going back and forth to the parks. I think it's because everybody just found UBER to be more efficient and cheaper!
Also new for us since Christmas is that even owners now have to put down $250 on their cc. Before it was just guests, but now owners need to do this as well.

Since the rain from Debbie, our pirate friends remain underwater...

This was a first tonight for us to see here: some people had their things stolen from the Tower 4 pool while they were in the lazy river. :( We just caught the end conversation when they were telling the security guard, but it's a lesson to all of us to be careful with our items.
We were also at the main pool and saw a bunch of teenage boys jumping off the main bridge before they were asked to stop by security. Then no sooner had the boys stopped and moved on, a younger kid looked for security to do the exact same thing. No idea where their parents were. Then other boys were jumping and canon balling into the hot tubs. They need to have a security person at each pool and lazy river. They had 2 people on tonight and they were constantly travelling between the 2 areas of the lazy river and side pool trying to keep everything safe for everyone. Security did their best, but they just couldn't keep up.

My maintenance fees would go through the roof. If people break the rules after a warning they should just be trespassed from the property. I’ve fortunately never encountered this type of bad behavior at the pools over a number of trips, so it must be a one-off.

We saw it before when we were there for 2 months in July and August one summer. That's why we would never go back in July. It was like the kids went crazy. Usually at other times during the year, Christmas, March, August etc it's been fine. Perhaps they should up the security in the summer months only.

When we were there back in May 2022, we were just walking around and heard a loud noise and seen a group of teenage boys running, then we’d seen the ping pong table broken. I hate that they think it’s ok to ruin such a nice resort.

Possibly they did not think “it’s OK to ruin such a nice resort” and something else happened. They got startled and being kids, ran.

When we were there last year my husband and adult sons were playing ping-pong and one of the legs completely gave out and the entire side collapsed.

They walked away but they left to get help/notify staff. Those jumping to conclusions probably thought that they busted it and left it.

These kids were old enough to know better, they were older teens, maybe 16-17, they were definitely playing on top of the table the way the table looked after, definitely ruined it as it was crushed in half somehow and I’m pretty sure they had to get a new table since it did not seem fixable, but who knows. These kids were not running to get assistance, I can guarantee that. I understand accidents happen, but this was just being careless.
