Just to add my little bit to the trip report.

I have been watching my flight and again its two hours delayed. Fingers crossed it will correct itself by then

I have 5 more shifts before I have finished paying for my holiday. Phew I am so pleased to get back to some normality. Although it will change for our upcoming trip in Nov. I will be working extra hours again Its worth it when you walk through MK turnstiles and see Cindrellas castle.

Anyway so my last working shift will be Sat 11th and then I am off work for 20 days

It still doesnt feel real that I am going. I think its because its a WDW holiday without my family. It just feels like a dream

I will be getting those suit cases down soon. I will be packing my new clothes, so I wont wear them before we go. Otherwise I will no doubt ruin them. It will be a mad rush on the 22nd. It will be packing for my holiday, Bruce and the kids holiday as well. Casey is looking forward to camping. Poor Bruce is putting on a brave face.

Wow, Claire and Michelle, some big things have happened since I last checked in. Firstly, huge congrats to Carly - I am sure she will be fine with you both to look after her. Can't help with the Mission:Space thing either, I'm afraid but no doubt you will get the answer you seek fairly soon

Secondly, what a git your ex is being, Claire. I cannot believe that he won't just have the kids fromt he night before. It's hardly going to hurt him, is it Hope you manage to make him see the error of his ways and that you get off safely for your flight and, just as importantly, make your connection

Really hoping to run into you girls while we are there - not long to go now

Thank you to all my uk friends that have come over and taken the time to read this, its much appreciated and even better if you actually enjoyed what you read To any interested parties, i think next year has to be a year off from WDW but I can definately see a Girly Tour part 2 in 2009, so watch this space, can you imagine a bunch of UK ladettes on a World Showcase crawl? yep me too

A little update to add:

james HAS agreed to come over on the 22nd and stay over so we can get away on time, the sticking point is he can't tell me at what time he can make it. Now he knows that i know he finishes work by 5 (and hes not going to work a minute longer than he has too, trust me on this!) so theoretically he goes back to his flat, has a shower etc, maybe eats, and he can still be at mine by 7:30pm at the latest. in reality i expect him around 10:30pm, as the thought of being bound to his children for a week will send him into a complete panic that requires a trip to the pub first to exert his freedom I'm laughing beacuse its so pathetic!
Michelle's magical express labels have arrived at mine, so that if for some reason me and carly don't make our connection in Washington, Michelle can still get to POFQ and doesn't need to wait for us double magic that it all goes smoothly.
I finally started getting some $ this week, every time i turn around somebody else wants money from me, and its going to be a close call to have all the money together, but I now have the money for the hotel balance ready to go, so i have $350 roughly to find for food, $100 for the towncar, and i reckon $400 spending would be nice but I'll take what i can get. i have a £500/ $1000 cheque due my way but it has 16 days to process through their systems and get to me, if for any reason it doesn't then i have a back up plan in place I just hate leaving it to the last minute, but thats the way my life is these days.

On a brighter note, the initial inspiration for my trip is nearly upon me, yes 2 weeks today i will have my birthday party, Michelle is making the journey to join me, carly will be there with her little bump (which is just starting to take form bless her, we have swapped clothes with her gaining and me losing weight ) and other assorted friends, and being me, yes its a karaoke night
Life is pretty good right now, i have plans for the next 2 weekends for friday and saturday nights with friends, not forgetting Orlando Bloom on the 18th and then the birthday bonanza that will last 10 days will begin.

Friends, Orlando, parties and Disney World, let the fun begin

So some of you uk readers may have read this evening that michelle was in a nasty road traffic accident today and has been cursed with a very nasty case of whiplash I tell you what, I really hope that piece of work who went into the back of her gets whats coming, but anyway I'm sure michelle will come over soon and give you the details. me and carly will be going to visit her tomorrow for a bit of tlc and support, so this could be quite an interesting trip now, and i hope michelle won't mind me saying like one of those jokes:

" a hyper alcoholic girl, a wounded girl and a pregnant girl walked into the Rose and Crown..."

How this will impact our trip? I'm not sure and i don't think michelle really knows till we get there, she has 13 days of healing time, but it matters not one bit to me and carly, we love her and will take care of her, and it will be more good therapy for me to smell the roses at WDW I just hope she is able to get comfy on the flight, hun i recommend taking a pillow with you if you can be bothered to carry it!


ps. i realised today that i better stop wearing everything I want to take on this trip, I know i have 13 days, but my washing and ironing does tend to get away from me every now and then, it might be time to pull the case down. Who knew we were going to get a summer after all?

Thanks for coming up and seeing me. It was really nice to see you again. Your support and the flowers were lovely.

Well I am feeling a little better today. The headache has passed. I can actually hold a conversation without getting lost and confused. Although yesterday I was feeling a little better I was finding it really hard to concentrate on anything. I had problems getting what I wanted to say out as well. Friday oh my god the day of my accident I hardly spoke at all and I could hardly walk without bumping into things, felt so sick, pain etc. Poor Bruce had to tell everyone my story umpteen times, the concusion was horrible.

Anyway 2 days on and I am in pain, but better than I was. Although my left arm is hurting and my right collar bone is sore. Fingers crossed it will be better by the holiday. Although I have been told that I cant go on roller coasters or anything that jerks. Unfortunately Everest, Rock N Roller Coaster are off I am not missing out on Splash Mountain.

I also hope I can drive soon. I was so looking forward to going to Claires birthday party that it would be sad if I could not go.

At the moment I am taking each day comes. Only 11 days left to go

Can you believe it? I think me and carly started a ticker properly at about 200 days, and here we are at 9!! It has gone so incredibly fast, and I've realised that it might be that time to start putting my things together, and i don't just mean packing, nope I'm talking about all the paperwork, the touring plans, the pins and lanyard, my AP and DDE cards, and make sure everything is in order for the children while I am away, including getting their school supplies, there is no way I'll have time when i get back as will only have a few days
Its time to panic!!!!

the funny thing is, last year was exactly the same, i ran around for 48 hours before trying to tick 20 million things off my list of to do. Why do i inflict this on myself i don't know! Better get to it, just wanted to celebrate this special day

6 Days TO GO ​

So we are so very nearly there! I started a thread last week entitled "1 week to go....stress" beacuse i felt like i had so much to do, I felt that my house had to be perfect, the garden tidy, the kids stuff already for school (they don't go back till September 4th over here), and obviously pack my things for the trip Kind of an afterthought really lol.

Well i am happy to report that
the upstairs of my house is at perfection the back garden is clear and the summer toys are put away Summer ended over here about 2 weeks ago i think The washing and ironing is finished my case is packed apart from wash bag, makeup, and hair things My folder is just about ready to go with menus, ADRs, reservation confirmations, tickets.....um haven't quite finished the touring plans whoops! My DD's school supplies are all ready but i still have to get the boys some uniform

So still to do:

touring plans, dusting the downstairs, kitchen floor, downstairs toilet .....then i am good to go i have tomorrow during the day to finish it all and then i am done because tomorrow night is my

BIRTHDAY PARTY!!
closely followed by my birthday the day after and i refuse to do anything that resembles work on MY day, nope i will eat well, enjoy the last day with my kids, pack the last couple of things and have an early night, as i will be leaving at 4:15 am on thursday morning.

Aaahhh this time on thursday i should be checking into POFQ and going to the Magic Kingdom for dinner at LTT followed by Spectro and Wishes.

I know its so close and so exciting. I am sitting here with hair dye on at the moment. It occurred to me I am going out tomorrow night and I am not the best at dyeing my hair. I will be scrubbing ears, neck, forehead to get the dye off Why I didnt use my brain is beyond me

I have not even packed my stuff yet. Bruce and the kids are all packed. Me not even close As always I leave myself till last. The house is great and garden almost finished.
