We recently ate at the Wave. The Food & service were outstanding. The filet was delicious. Great beer & wine selection. Our server mentioned that they have lots of reservation availability, so I thought I'd share. Being at the contemporary makes it a short walk to magic kingdom & easy to get to Epcot via the monorail at TTC for ppl planning to explore the parks after dinner. While the atmosphere within the restaurant wasn't anything extrodinary, the food made up for it.

Just thought I'd share!!!

Thanks for the review! DH and I have a dinner ADR at the Wave for our upcoming trip in December, and it will be our first experience at this restaurant. :yay:

We like The Wave. It's a really good compromise between a fun/upbeat place and a signature. Its great when you want to get out of the park for a bit and need a quite place to have a glass of wine and a nice dinner, but you don't quite want to devote the time or effort to a signature. Food is good and they are great with DS's allergies. As you mentioned, it often easy to get a last minute table there as well.

Thanks for the review. We have an ADR there for our upcoming trip next week. We are really looking forward to trying The Wave, although the kids might be upset when we get to the CR and are not going to Chef Mickey's this time.

Agree. I've said it before, but the beef tenderloin (filet) at the Wave is my favorite non-signature steak on property. ...followed somewhat close by the charred strip steak at the Grand Floridian Café.

I love this place and the CR atmosphere. Very quiet and low key with a very good menu and attentive wait staff. One of my favs and must eats each trip.

Thanks for the review! my DH and I have ADR's for the WAVE in October and I'm really looking forward to it. Sounds like a nice place but not over the top nice if you know what I mean?

It was one of our favorite restaurants that we ate at last trip-For the adults and the kids!

I am thinking about adding it to our trip. I am still in the planning stages so I keep changing restaurants. I really want to try it, but my daughter is not as adventurous with her sides. Any basic side that she can get with her steak? I am all for the short ribs!:thumbsup2
