That was the series finale wasn't it? Great show, heartbreaking scene.

I don't think Beth wrote in it this week, and I also thought it was just a blank page she tore out to burn. I am also assuming it was in her back pocket, it was the right size to just keep it in there, so she would have it whenever she wanted it.

I also commented to dd on the fire. Didn't seem like anyone really sat down for long enough to get spotted anyway.

OK, my sense of timing with this show is way off then
I could have sworn that more time had passed between when Carol was banished and when the prison fight took place. I'm going to have to go back and watch last season again.

That was still this season, we are still in the middle of season 4

Man I gotta start blocking some people on FB. My cousin (the one who lives where they film the show) posted on FB two posts on Sunday night, that I saw Monday morning. The first was "JUDITH!!!" and the second was "CAROL!!!" I gave him a stern tongue lashing for those of us who use a DVR (his sister was also really mad at him for it).

What a dingus.

I have a cousin who did that last year when a character died on Downton Abbey. She was rightly slammed by everyone who posted a comment and didn't do it again.

I usually stay off Twitter during TWD, because I usually watch the show later and a lot of my friends live-tweet while it's on. It's basically a Twitter minefield.

There are a few *fake* Twitter accounts that are supposed to be the characters, which can be pretty funny, but I know the Herschel one is pretty bad about posting pre-show spoilers. I wound up seeing his zombie head the day before the show aired.

Could be, I was just incredulous that she had the darn thing with her at all! I spent most of that time yelling at the TV/my DH that it was ridiculous she had it with her! My poor DH! I'm like if she's got time to grab anything in that chaos it would be water, ammo, food etc...She got off the bus to go back to try and get the kids and couldn't find them but she took time to get her journal???? I don't think so.

It was in her pocket. I have to watch the finale again, but I'm guessing (hoping?) that it was already in there when all hell broke loose, so it wound up coming with her when they had to run. You can see it lying on the ground between her and Daryl when they're lying on the ground at the beginning of the episode too.

It sounds like they're doing a storyline similar to something from the comics, only in the comics it was a disturbed little boy. And that didn't end well...

Yeah, I was thinking that too... Although, in the comics, Judith died. I have to wonder if they avoid killing kids in the show. They don't show many "kid" zombies, either.

Oh no!!! I have them all on my DVR too, along with every single episode of the Wonder Years. I'll keep the dead until the Blu Ray comes out in the fall.

I was on the edge of my seat with this episode. Lizzie is a freak! I was so nervous for Judith! So glad to see Carol back tho!

I'm with you, if I'm not watching the show as it is being aired I stay away from social media and even this thread until I have watched the episode. I don't think it is the responsibility of anyone else to not saying anything because I haven't watched the show.

Well! they killed Sophia, who didn't die in the comics. Plus the show opened with Rick killing a little zombie girl in the first episode. And there was Megan, who was killed in the mid-season finale. Plus there were two other kids with Lizzie and Mika when they rescued Tyrese who seem to have disappeared, so it sounds like they didn't make it either.

Little girls don't seem to fare well on this show at all...Judith has been pretty lucky so far!

I'm starting to think maybe Carol might, if it comes to that.

In the comics (and I don't want to spoil anything, so I'm trying to be careful), it was Rick and Abraham who had to deal with what do with their, um...problem child. I have a funny feeling that it might be Carol who settles it here.

Alright...so my DD has read 2 big books of Walking Dead comics (that have 8 volumes each...called compendiums) and I just am going to have to go ask her to fill me in. I cannot wait for next Sunday.

I for one think they should have just left Judith "gone". So much easier than changing diapers and lugging formula in the woods. She is gonna get someone killed with the crying. OK with the girls, does anyone think Carol came up to what Lizzie was doing with Judith? I now think she know's what kind of girl Lizzie is turning into. (plus after what happened in the jail) Why then the motherly bond with them?? Teaching them to defend themselves is one thing but what Lizzie did with Judith is awful.
