I can see Carol killing the two sick people to protect the group, but I can also see her covering for one of the kids. I was also surprised that she didn't stay in that neighborhood. She could have easily set up camp there.

I was too. It didn't seem as though there were many walkers there and she could stay in one of the houses. But she's pretty smart and I think she may have other plans. She's not going to just walk away that easily. She made a promise to protect those kids and I think we'll end up seeing her again pretty soon.

On a side note, I don't like how they keep making the female lead characters worth hating. First Lori, then Andrea, and now Carol. Am I the only one thinking this? I really hope they don't kill off Carol. I'd be really peeved.

I think Carol did it. I think Rick realizes something broke inside her when Sophia died. I think that's why she can't come back. She's unpredictable.

Rick is not really in a position to say that though. Something majorly broke in him when Lori died, and he has come back (sort of). They have all broken at some point or another, or they will soon. Up until now Carol has been more stable than pretty much anyone.

And what was up with Ana and Sam? Ana got eaten by the walkers, but what about Sam? Rick gave them each a gun, so why didn't they fire at least fire one of them when Ana got attacked? I was so confused by that :confused3

I couldn't believe they couldn't fend off one walker in the house, or 2 in the street. It looked to me like it was only 2 who took her down??? Where did he go? They live all this time, and then they get an offer for help, and down they go. Wierd.

I'd love it if it's revealed Carl is the one who killed the two sick individuals. It'd make for quite a twist, and Rick would have to seriously rethink his position on it.

Would he banish Carl as he did Carol?

Would he set out to find Carol?

If he lies to the group about Carol and why she didn't return with him, and the murders continue, what then?

If he tells the group the truth about Carol and the punishment he dealt her, and the murders continue, what then?

Did not like the ending last night. Carol was one of my favorites. But I remember reading on here that Daryl was supposed to be gone for a couple of episodes. Didn’t I read that? If that is the case I am thinking he goes looking for her. I hope so because I really wanted them to get together.

As for Lizzie, she sure didn’t look sick at all. I don’t know if she could have killed those two. She is little and how could she have drug their bodies out like that? They would have been very heavy. But then maybe she did and that is one reason Carol wanted to take the girls with her. To protect the others and to keep the secret.

Talking Dead last night was great. They were definitely trying to make up for Marilyn Manson's train wreck last week.

I don't think Lizzie's sick. Maybe it's just due to her bad acting. I wasn't sold on the bad acting last week... but that whole "Mom I mean ma'am" line was really fake sounding. And she's a terrible little crier. BUT maybe the little girl Lizzie is acting - one of my ideas is that she's pretending to be sick (her cough was super fake last week, and she didn't cough AT ALL when talking to Carol at the beginning of the episode) because she wants to do something in there when people start becoming walkers. I don't know.

I thought the tweet they read aloud on Talking Dead was interesting... if Carol got banished for killing two sick people, why didn't Carl receive worse punishment for killing a surrendering teen in the woods? It's like Rick still wants Carl to be an innocent child, but he's not.

It's also interesting that Rick is so anti killing people when he killed Shane which was purely personal (though Shane did have a gun and was planning to kill Rick, so you might call it an act of defense, but really it was to end the battle over Lori and Carl and the leadership position... "it's not a democracy anymore") and also became psychotic and put the whole group in danger after Lori's death.

Rick still seems to make decisions based on what is best for Rick, not necessarily the group. It sounded like he kicked her out because he didn't want her around his children. Not only did he not have the authority to make that decision, but it wasn't completely logical considering that Carol is a huge asset to the group. She's taking care of the children and everyone else. I think that maybe if Carol had been apologetic about what she did that he would've let her stay.

But someone made the point during the Talking Dead that this might've actually been Rick's way of saving Carol - because Tyrese would've killed her. Speaking of Tyrese, he's making me really nervous.

I'm curious how Daryl is going to handle it when he finds out Carol's not there. On one hand, I could see him flipping out like he did after he lost Merle... twice. But I could also see him really chill and cold about it, too.... to just not really acknowledge it.

It looked like Sam might've sacrificed Ana to get away. Her leg was a pretty clean cut - it's not like a zombie ripped it off or anything. And there were no gunshot sounds. They seemed like pretty bad actors to me, too. Like the part when they were talking about how in love they are just made me kind of sick. I didn't buy it. I'm never sure if it's really bad acting or if they're supposed to be acting like that. I think we'll be seeing Sam again, though.

I thought that leg looked strange too. It looked like it was cut off with a really sharp knife. Very clean cut. And they seemed so fake or maybe they were just excited to see some living people. I am with you tho. I think we will see Sam again.

I never got the Carol and Daryl angle. They had zero chemistry together.

The whole time I was watching that episode I was expecting Rick to execute her, I was surprised he let her go and that she took it so well.

I didn't really think so at first, but the first episode this season when they were barbecuing the pig, their interaction with each other just made me say, "Yup, they're doing it."

I also think Rick had no right to banish Carol. He isn't even on the council is he? He wanted to stay in the background and farm. Granted, things changed after the attack and the virus etc. But, I was amazed at how well Carol took it. She was just like, "Meh, okay." I wonder how they will bring her back, I don't believe she is gone for good.

It was strange how Rick kept looking at her. I kept wondering if he was going to kill her. I don't know why he was so scared of her, you would think he would have understood why she killed them, they all have done things they would never have done before the apocalypse.

TD was really good. I loved the wrestler guy, he was so into it. The girl was kind of strange and trying to be funny but she wasn't.

Lizzie isn't sick, she is with all the other people/Beth. They are separated from all the sickies.

Lizzie is in death row, with the other sick people. She came to Carol coughing in the previous episode, and Carol put her in there. She told her to go find Glenn, because he would help tuck her in.

I thought it was the little one, Mika. I suppose you are right.

Lizzie could have very well done the killing, Carol stumbled upon it and to protect her helped her dispose of the bodies????

I don't think Lizzie is sick. I'm not sure why she's faking though.

I knew when Rick asked Carol to go with him she wasn't coming back. With the other's sick or out scouting for meds he would never leave the camp unprotected like that....just to scrounge for food. Carol knew it too I think.

I'm still convinced Carol is covering, possibly for (bad acting) Lizzie. She has to be faking being sick! I mean, if not, that was really the best they could do for child actors?!
And Carol definitely left too easily. I would've had myself a little argument with Rick.

Also, I think the Gov is coming back. Michonne saying she's done searching for him I feel was a kind of foreshadowing of his return.

This season is off to a great start! Loving it!

The Governer will be back, it's just a question of when, and what he will do when he does. I hope he doesn't run into Carol somewhere.

Why would she fake being sick? To kill more people? I cannot imagine she would want to be in there with people coughing up blood, and at least 1 who has arleady died and turned in there. Yuck. She is a weird little one though, who knows what she is up to. I also have to say, I was wondering last night, why they would hire such a bad actress, when everyone else they have cast has always been top notch.

Here's my prediction for the repercussions of Rick's actions last episode where he leaves Carol to her own devices. This blends some ideas already tossed about (like about Lizzie) and incorporates a storyline from the comic book:

I don't believe Carol is the killer in the prison. I believe Lizzie is, the little girl with the knife who "isn't weak, just messed up." I think she's faking her illness so she can take out more sick people. With that said...

I think Rick will get back to the prison, Daryl's group will return as well, and Rick will come clean about his decision to leave Carol out in the wild. Tyrese will be livid that he didn't get his justice, and Daryl will be upset because we're talking about Carol here.

But then Rick will be faced with a huge conundrum: The killings will continue, and when Rick finds out the true killer is a child, he won't be so quick to banish her from the prison.

So, come episode nine, we'll see Carl take justice into his own hands. He'll visit Lizzie and put a bullet in her head.

We'll see what happens.

Wow.. this would be an interesting story arc.

I'm still having trouble believing that Carol DIDN'T kill Karen and whats-his-name. She's so disconnected. Won't say Sophia's name. Went a little bonkers when Lizzie accidentally called her "mom. " Pretty harsh to yell at a kid with no mother for calling you mom... just sayin'. Then she insisted those two young people go out and gather food when they were so ill-prepared to be out on their own. And no remorse when they realize what happened to the girl.

I do find Rick totally hypocritical. Carl did murder a young man for no reason whatsoever. But I do think he has the "right" to ban Carol - he's the only leader they have right now. Daryl is no leader. He's a warrior (and completely awesome to look at, lol). Glenn is sick, Hershel is taking care of the sick, Carol has lost her mind, Michonne wanders off in search of the governor and isn't there much of the time. Who else to take this role?

I'm wondering how his decision will go over with the rest of the group. My first thought is that they will be glad she's not there for Tyreese to kill (I am sure that would happen, especially in his current state of mind).

I do have to wonder if Carol will run into the Governor out there somewhere. We know he's coming back... it's how and when that we don't know.
