I thought it was really good. I never thought about Daryl being the host of the virus!! He licked his fingers, then shook Patricks hand. Hmmmmm Maybe he was eating pork?? Don't know, but I also thought of the water being contaminated when Patrick coughed into it, now they may loose people. Maybe the core group is immune for some reason? I assume they are all eating the same food and nobody really washes or disinfects so I would think a virus would spread like wildfire. Now there is a walker on the loose inside! I saw a preview for next week. Wow. Looks good.

The kid thanked Daryl for bringing back the deer. They really made a point to show animals during the episode. I think the virus is starting to effect animals. Horses, pigs, bunnies, deer, ants...never have they been so focused. Huge clue there!

Does someone know what happened to Karen's son? He had asthma, she told Andrea to tell the Gov. that she didn't want him fighting because of his condition. Did he make it out of Woodbury?

Carol has been trying HARD to get Daryls attention for 2 seasons now. I guess he wasn't into Carol that way, with all the obvious gestures Carol was tossing his way, Daryl wasn't "feeling her". But he "felt" Beth. I'm curious where this is going!

I understand why Carol is teaching the children about how to use the weapons. I'm sure she now wishes Sophia knew how to take care of herself.

My son and I noticed how Carl AND Rick perked up when they saw Machonne ride up. Hmmmmmm............

Beth had the line last night, that really summed up the sad state of the world they live in, when she said she doesn't cry anymore. Very sad.

I definitely think Rick and Michonne will have a "thing".

I too thought many would be infected because of Patrick coughing into the water supply.

It's nice to see Carl trying to be a kid again but I think something big will happen that will cause him to completely lose it and I honestly don't trust him anymore. He's very unstable.

As for the scene with the alcohol, I felt like it showed how vulnerable people still are. I'm going to assume he had a drinking problem in the past. Had he just walked by and ignored the alcohol, they would have gotten what they needed and got out. But old temptations drew him back in and, ultimately, his drinking problem killed him.

Norman Reedus is 6 months older than me, he will be 45 in January.
Melissa McBride is 48! She looks awesome. I think she is so beautiful.

On another note, I was ecstatic to see her finally listed as a regular cast member in the opening credits last night!!

The kid got eaten, but the guy who was trapped under the bookcase got out. They showed him later, laying in his bed, looking pretty freaked out.

I get a bit intense when I watch LOL, I told my dog she had to hurry up and sit down or leave. Boy did I get a funny look, she couldnt' figure out why I was so insistent that she sit the heck down.

I like Beth a lot. I hope she becomes a larger player in the game, but I don't think she will. In fact, I think they're setting her up to become like Carol in the comic.

Maybe Beth begins forming feelings for Daryl, but sees Daryl and Carol become a couple, so Beth goes stupid and decides there's nothing left living for. It'd be a horrible reason, but meh.

It would suck, but if it was written well, I'd be OK with it.

Nope. She's 17, he's in his 30s, most likely. There don't seem to be many guys her age to choose from, unless she likes them younger and brash, then she can go for barely-a-teenager Carl.

Plus, look at how Daryl is. He's a nice dude, likes to take care of people, puts others before himself, and is capable. I bet Hershel would love to have Daryl as a son-in-law because he knows Daryl would take care of Beth without question.

I also look at it as a survivalist and nature thing: Women tend to gravitate toward men who are proven providers, based on our animalistic natures. And, who better to help you survive than someone like Daryl?

See I can totally see Beth falling for Daryl, but a man (who is probably in his late 30's) falling for a 17 year old, I don't know, I just don't like it.
Plus I still say he's all Carol's.

I wouldn't mind a Beth-Daryl hookup either, if that were to happen. I really don't think it will happen, though -- at least not for a couple of years in the story line, if ever. I had never even considered them as a possible pairing before because she seemed so young for anyone (and yet, in my mind she seemed too old for Carl). Beth won't be 17 forever, though. I mean, as soon as she is 18 she will be considered a "woman" by a lot of people.

Although she is not 17, Bradley Cooper (who I adore) is dating this 21-year-old (or maybe a 22-year-old) model who literally looks like she is 13-15 years old. Has anyone seen her? Literally, she could pass for 13-15 years old. Maybe 17 on a heavy make-up day. Bradley is 38. She looks like she should be in Teen Vogue. I love Bradley and I think he is a great catch, but I honestly can't see what he sees in this childlike model. It worries me!

I don't think Daryl Dixon will go for a 17-year-old, but if something happens to Carol or if something doesn't happen with he and Carol soon, he might go for an 18-year-old.


For some reason -- and I know this is not the popular opinion -- I am not feeling the Daryl-Carol thing right now either. At one time I was feeling it and I wanted it to happen, but it seems to be taking too long to get going for my liking. I think it is a flirtatious (especially on her side), close friendship, and I think that if anything happens to Carol he will be wrecked. They may even go so far as to finally hook up, but I think I just kind of lost interest in them as a pair for a while. Maybe if he showed an interest in someone else, or Carol got attention from another man, that would spark something to finally happen between Carol and Daryl and it would renew my interest in them.

I knew Karen would end up as a love interest for someone as soon as she ended up at the prison at the end of last season. I wonder if she may end up dead, though. I kind of feel like she is disposable.

I am feeling like this might be Rick's swan song. I don't know why. Something makes me think that Rick is on his way out this season. It's probably because he is finally laughing and joking -- and seems to be quite happy with Michonne being around -- and because Daryl is taking more of a leadership role. If a miserable Rick were to die, some people would be thinking, "Eh...he was unhappy anyway... he might as well go." But a 'happy Rick who had finally found some peace' death would be heartbreaking. I hope I'm wrong, but I feel like his time is coming up soon.
