Ok, for all of you who are tempted to read the spoilers but you're really not sure if you want to...

DON'T!!

I read them. I do realize now that I am going to miss out on that total element of "NO WAY!" and "AHHH!!! I didn't see that coming!!" that I so enjoy. ;)

So if you're not sure if you want to - I suggest you just wait until Sunday. I can't imagine anyone regretting not reading them....

And I'm shocked at how much info is out there about these episodes!!

The posting of the spoiler about Shane's death ruined it for me this week. Even though I knew there was a spoiler floating around the net, I did not want to know exactly what it was about. There really was no shock at the end when Rick stabbed Shane. It was more like "Oh, so that is how it happened", rather than "OMG, he killed Shane!".

I've thought about this a little, and I could be dead wrong (hahaha) but some were "released" from the school back with Otis/Shane and then a bunch were let out of wherever it was Shane & Rick were trying to dump Randall.

The place they took Randall was more than 18 miles away from the farm.

There were two gunshots. One when Rick stabbed Shane and another when Carl shot Shane. I think this is what alerted the herd. The natural defenses of the bog and streams were drying up and this allowed the herd better access.:scared:

Rick should get rid of Lori as soon as she has the baby. Lori has instigated most of the tension in the group.:happytv:

I don't understand why they had not started reinforcing their defenses long before this.:confused3

Because it is a tv show and it wasn't in the script until this past episode. :happytv:

Shane got spoiled in so many ways. I knew he was killed early on in the comic book, so I figured that's where he was headed at some point. Then it was reported that he was cast in Frank Darabont's new show. Then AMC's website screwed it up when they posted "Shane's Last Episode" as one of the extra features on the Season 2 DVD set. So yeah, I knew he was going.

Dale, on the other hand... :scared1::scared1::scared1:

I had no idea that was coming. :scared1:

I really like Jeff DeMunn and his character, Dale. I was SO upset when he died, ESP. That way... :(

I agree. I wouldn't even really call it a spoiler it is pretty much a synopsis of the entire episode. I am disappointed I read it as well, I will still watch on Sunday but now I will not have any surprises

I read it and I won't let it ruin it for me. I read the last few pages of a book sometimes...it is the journey to get to that end that I am looking for.

I just saw an interesting interview with John B on EW dot com. There is some interesting stuff about Hunger Games too.

Me, too! I agree you will have a different experience watching the show if you read the spoilers, but I still think it will be satisfying. I knew Shane was going to die but the whole exchange between Rick and Shane was news to me. I actually think it made me pay attention more to what they were talking about because I knew it was coming. A few episodes back, I completely missed when Rick shot those two guys from Philly because I looked away for a minute, since I didn't know it was about to happen!

In other news, I watched The Talking Dead last night, and... Maggie has a British-y accent? Well, she was born in PA and grew up in London. It totally threw me for a loop.

And I kept wishing the host would ask Zach Levi the question everyone (okay, just me) wanted to know the answer to: If Flynn Rider met a walker, would he (mistakenly) try to give her "the smolder?" :rotfl:

They've already taken the spoiler down from the website. Can someone PM me and tell me what happens?

As a fan of the comics, I kept telling DW the same thing about Shane. Every episode I said, "You do realize he is on A LOT of borrowed time compared to the books?" :rotfl:

Her accent threw me too. At first thought I was hearing things, because it is not a full blown British accent. One who really threw me was the guy who plays Jason on True Blood. He has such a strong Australian accent, yet does an authentic southern accent as if he really grew up in the deep south. It amazes me how they can completely shut off their own accent or throw a new one on without making a mistake somewhere in their sentences.

The link Ginny Favers posted in #732 is still working, no naked ladies as of yet:rotfl2:!!!

Basically, all H breaks loose!!!!

I, too, sometimes flip to the end of a book to read the last few pages. I also google YouTube to see videos of amusement park rides I may be contemplating going on. I'm not an avid thrill-seeker, so this woman wants to know!

However, I'm not going to go to the spoiler site.

Today.

Really? Just when I thought he couldn't get any hotter.

Love men with british accents...

You need to look up some videos on YouTube. Swoooooon. :lovestruc:love:

I am staying away from all info on this season finale. I know about Shane and it ruined it for me. Though I do have to say I was surprised it was at Rick's and Carl's hands.

The only thing we've been told is that the river/ponds/whatever have boggy marshes in them, which provided a natural boundary against the walkers, and also provided water for the cattle. In the beginning of this episode Hershel said that the water was drying up, so the cattle would be dying (drawing in the walkers), and there would be no boggy marshes to slow them down.

And I suppose it wouldn't be "dramatic" to have five walkers come up over the hill like that ;)...

Terri

Thanks, this totally makes sense. I know I heard them say that, but for some reason I didn't make the connection! :teacher:

Damian Lewis(Band of Brothers, Homeland) is one who totally surprised me.
Band of Brothers was the first thing I saw him in and I had watched the whole series before I heard him talking in an interview.
