The Walking Dead on AMC

Carl pissed me off too. Especially at how he disrespected Carol. But you have to remember what this boy is seeing on a daily basis. He's a child growing with death surrounding him. IMO it would be wrong if he was this sweet loving adolescent. The look on that boy's face when he was in the barn looking down on Randal was SPOOKY! We are watching Carl change before our eyes!!

Question is, will Carl change now that he saw how his actions lead to Dale's death? I wonder if he will tell his father about it?

LOVED last nights episode! This is like a soap opera with zombies! LOVE IT!

I get the feeling Carl's days are numbered. Either that or they're going to have to speed up the timeline a lot. I think that's why they had to do away with Sophia, to eliminate the problem of the actors growing up faster than the characters.

After reading the past couple pages, I'm finding myself on the opposite side of everyone!

My son and I think they have to kill Randall to keep their own people safe. I think he is dangerous and can't be trusted - *especially* since now they've tortured him and he's not likely to forget that.

And while Dale's death was sad, I didn't really care for his character that much. But I'd probably be one of Shane's groupies :rotfl: so maybe that's why. But for me, Dale was borderline hysterical last night, and it really drove me nuts.

Don't judge me... :flower3:

I'm officially done with this show. They are bringing in David Morrissey as The Governor. Hated that storyline in the comics.

Does anyone watch "Talking Dead" after the show? They always have really goods insights into the show especially when they have great people on who are involved with the show like this week they had Greg Nicotero who is the special effects master and directed this episode. They compared Randall to Ben Linus on Lost and they think that he is just pretending to be a good guy and once they finally set him free he will do all sorts of bad things. They also talked about how Dale was the last connection to the old world and that was why he had to go, they are in a new world and new rules apply. I agree with other posters as well that Carl is getting a little creepy. His upbringing in this world is really going to turn him into a sociopath.

He'll probably be forced to own up to what he did eventually if Rick notices his gun is missing, i
I believe the gun was Daryl's, not Rick's. Carl went off to Daryl's encampment and saw the dead critters, then Daryl's bike, then went through the saddlebags and found the gun. You can bet good money that Daryl will know a gun is gone and make a stink about it.

I can't BELIEVE they killed off Dale!!!!! He was one of my favorites! Dang it!!! I never saw it coming either.

Carl needs to get smacked down in a serious way, another reason why I can't stand Lori, your kid is NOT perfect dearie...

My DH had a great theory on the gang that's coming. What if the leader is Merle? That would put a nice spin on things, with Daryl becoming a nice tough guy, not just a jerk tough guy.

I think they should have killed Randell. At the least they should ask Maggie about him if they went to school together.

I like Herschel a lot more since he's warmed up to Glenn. That was a great scene, I just hope it doesn't mean Glenn will die soon!

I LOVED the connection to Ben Linus & Randall! Right on point!

I liked how Andrea warmed up a bit, it seems her and dale have been on different sides. They were so close in the early episodes when Andreas sister was alive. It was nice to see her back on dales side.

I never connected the missing cattle with the possibility of walkers coming closer. Maybe there safe little farm isn't so safe anymore.....

Carl was annoying! I wanted to scream when he was taunting the walker in the mud!

The ending was really dramatic. I loved how Daryl ended the episode by saying, "sorry brother" then you hear the gun shot.

and it's fascinating to see which famous folk they have on that are fans:). Probably won't look at chicken breasts the same way again & i still get creeped out by the painting of sophie on the closet door

Last nights shirtless walker was the only walker we saw right?

I do know last nights walker was the first shirtless walker seen.

Daryl can get the truth from him...lol. He is the angel of death. Seriously, Carl is going to lie as much as he can to save his own skin. When Rick confronted him about being disrespectful he said he told Carol it is stupid to believe in Heaven, but really he told her if she believed in Heaven she was stupid. Huge difference. Besides, all Carol wanted to do was be nice to him and help him through the loss of Sophia. Lori needs a smack down right after Carl gets his.

Oh, I never thought about that, but it seems like the sort of group Merle would hang with. That story about the father and teen daughters almost made me cry and brought out another ugly fact about the chaos of a lawless civilization (for lack of a better word).

I think they should have killed Randell. At the least they should ask Maggie about him if they went to school together.

As the guy on Talking Dead said, it looked like Daryl was in the process of skinning Randall or something. As you say, it seems they would have asked maggie about him, or at least checked a yearbook to verify his story. Ask him where he lived.

I like Herschel a lot more since he's warmed up to Glenn. That was a great scene, I just hope it doesn't mean Glenn will die soon!

I worried about the same thing. I like Glenn.

In the first episode of the series, when Rick sees the zombie woman with no legs dragging herself across the lawn, she doesn't have a shirt on.

The walker from Sunday's episode was one of the scariest, although I'm not sure if it was his appearance that makes me think that or what he did with his bare hands. :scared:

I got that fact from last nights Talking Dead. They said last nights walker was the first time a walker was shown shirtless.

It was also said that last nights walker wasn't the first time we have seen him on the show!

What about well walker? I don't think he had a shirt on.

All I know is it was mentioned on last nights Talking Dead. I figured they wouldn't list the fact if it wasn't true!

They need to consult the disboards to get their facts straight;):cool1:

It was the "Talking Buzz" segment on last nights "Talking Dead". Co-Executive Producer Greg Nicotero who also directed the episode said this about last nights walker, "this is the first shirtless zombie in The Walking Dead". So I'm curious to know what their definition is for "shirtless" :confused3
