The Walking Dead on AMC

Several years ago I read a short story about radiation hitting Orlando......the "kids" in It's A Small World came alive and started eating the tourists. I still snicker whenever I remember that story. Wish I could remember who wrote it......sounds like something Dave Barry would come up with...
Well, there wasn't any radiation, but that's almost a scene from Kingdom Keepers. The Small World dolls do come to life and attack the kids, biting them etc...

I think Herschel was going to try to talk Rick out of it, and I'm glad Rick came to his senses. So sorry fro Darryl, he's now my frontrunner to kill the Gov. I'm already dreading the long wait til Oct!

Something has been bugging me about TWD for weeks, and I haven't been able to figure out if it involves a quick portion of a scene that I somehow missed, or if it might involve something that is coming up on the final episode of Season 3 on Sunday. I was waiting to watch the first half of Season 3 all over again to solve the mystery, but I will ask you guys and see if anyone has the answer!

At some point I recall seeing a montage of many 1- or 2-second clips of scenes from Season 3. For the life of me I cannot recall if I saw the montage at the start of Season 3 last year, or right after the mid-season break ended and the show returned in February. Also, I cannot recall if I saw the montage on Talking Dead or just as a general TWD preview on AMC.

In this montage, one of the super-fast clips showed Carl, I think, and at least one other character running down a corridor. I am pretty sure the corridor was in the prison, and I'm pretty sure it was one of the girls running with Carl.

As that clip briefly flashed on the screen, I very specifically recall a voice saying something like "We'll have to leave her behind," or "We're gonna have to leave her behind!." It sounded like Carl's voice but I suppose it could have been one of the young females shouting it (sorry, Carl!:lmao::lmao:).

Sometimes, when action is happening on TWD, things move very fast and the characters scatter all over the place, making it hard to tell what's happening.

When did that "We'll have to leave her behind" comment happen? Was it during the whole frantic scene with Carol and T-Dog running through the prison? Was it something having to do with that dead girl from Tyrese's group? I can't recall when that "leave her behind" line was said this season, or perhaps I stepped out of the room for a split second and missed it being said.

I guess what I'm getting at is, if this line was not already said...maybe someone will be "leaving her behind" on Sunday night when chaos ensues? Could it mean...'bye bye, baby'?;)

I remember the clip. I think/thought it was for the episode when he brings Tyreese and group to the prison. So maybe his bitten wife? Or maybe part of the show that got cut? I don't remember ever seeing in the actual show....

I think it's when Carl helps Tyrese's group & the husband & son don't want to leave his wife there. I could be wrong, but that's what comes to me.

This was my first thought too.

I think so too. Carl finds Tyrese's group down in the prison. The bitten lady is on the floor (sorry, don't remember her name). One of Tyrese's group tries to pick her up and carry her, her husband if I remember correctly, and Carl say's that they have to leave her there. At this point the walkers are bearing down on them.

I remember that in a preview also. I don't recall it ever actually being said in the show though.

Cool! Thanks, everyone, for clearing that up for me.

I was thinking that the "we'll have to leave her" scene was probably something to do with that woman in Tyrese's group (whose name I couldn't recall) because I'm pretty sure I did get up and quickly go to another room to grab something while one of their scenes was on and I likely missed hearing it. I know I was listening for that sentence from Carl in every episode after I saw that clip in the montage, and I never heard it!:rotfl2: I paid pretty close attention to the chaotic Carol and T-Dog scene and I didn't think I had missed the sentence there. The only other real option would have been that the sentence hadn't been said yet, but the Tyrese/bitten woman scenario makes sense!:thumbsup2

Hmmm... Then the plot thickens!:rotfl2: At least I know I'm not crazy because you and DonaldnDaisy5 both remember the same clip! So maybe I didn't miss hearing it in a scene if I left the room quickly? Maybe it was never said!:confused3

The movie Zombieland had fun with zombies running loose in an amusement park. That movie is hilarous, btw. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=071KqJu7WVo

Watching the marathon on AMC right now. Between seeing Morgan and Duane in the pilot, and now Merle's first episode, it's sad watching these again!

OK...this is too funny. I came home from work tonight and DH handed me a DVD and said he thought I might like it since I was so into zombies right now. The DVD was Zombieland :lmao: :rotfl2:

I said it was funny because I was just reading about it. That one and Zombie Apocalypse. He said "oh no...that movie was terrible" :rotfl:

It was in the episode. I have them all on my TiVo, and I just ran through that scene again to check. Carl said it when he first lead Tyrese's group out of the room where he found them and into the hall. Donna (the one who was bitten) was being carried by her husband, but he fell and they were getting surrounded by walkers while he was trying to get back up, and that's when Carl yelled, "You have to leave her!"

It was over a different shot in the preview, but they had just looped the line over that shot.

:) knew I heard it, must have left the room during that part of actual show too! And i was listening, watching for it too! Thinking before watching the episode it might have been Beth or Carol he was talking about it!

Is it just me but the Boondock Saints fan in me would love to see Daryl go full blown McManus on the Governor.

I'd love to see this!

I do remember that scene. It was when Carl was leading Tyrese's group through the prison and they were running from the walkers.

Carl said they needed to leave her behind, her being the other guys wife who had been bitten...I can't remember the guys name anymore, but I know he's Ben's dad.

Awesome!

New slogan: Georgia - roll up your windows and drive real fast or you'll become dinner for the undead!! ::yes::

Love the show, but I do find it interesting how every nook and cranky is stuffed with zombies! Is the entire population if North America herding to Georgia? And how are they all in dresses and suits. Why not more zombies in sweats or pjs? Lol. The woods are covered with zombies! Look how many Merle was able to attract with some Motörhead! :)

Do you think there will be any more of the story behind Michonnes walkers this week? I can't see how they would have time for that in the finale, but it was just so weird how they put that scene in there a couple weeks back, with Andrea asking about them.

DH and I talk about that a lot. Since we have only seen one big city (Atlanta) and then a bunch of smaller towns in the same state, it leaves us wondering just how much of the US population actually survived, etc.

But I would think (I love to run scenarios about zombies through my mind :lmao:) that most people in the rest of the country don't know that everyone that is alive is already infected. As people are being killed, they don't know that they have to bash their brains in. So more and more zombies are being created every day.
