The walking dead amc #2

I can't figure out how to use the spoiler button, so I will type in white. Highlight if you want to see. It's spoiler/rumor of what happens at the end, not who is killed.

I read a rumor that it will end in a cliffhanger. I really hope this is not true. I can see doing this for a regular episode, but for the finale??? I would be really mad. What I read happens is that Negan has everyone lined up on their knees then he says he has to kill someone. He does the "who should I kill?" thing and then the camera view goes to the person who is going to be killed looking up at Negan and then we see the bat coming and it fades to black and we don't know was killed.

I could see this happening & said something similar to DH...

A little bit like when they ended things in the train car.

i'm sure we will have a cliff hanger again for walking dead.
I'm sure we will too. I'm just hoping it's not the 1 mentioned above. A cliff hanger is fine but at least answer that part and don't make us wait on that part!

I've heard that too.

Are spoilers on this thread not posted with the Spoiler tab anymore?
I thought this as well as I remember being new to the discussion and getting angry responses to my posting about the comics...I felt so bad, didn't know about a "spoiler button" so I was actually stressed about what I could and could not post, so didn't post for a long time.

Couldn't stay away though because it's exciting to go over all the theories of what everyone thinks will happen.

I prefer this way much more as I don't feel like we are walking on eggshells anymore as to what we can and cannot post

That is what my Dh thinks too, but that would be crappy. We better get a good kill shown on screen. I'm getting really tired of all this nonsense with the cliffhangers/are they really Dead scenarios. It is lazy writing.

That's how I interpreted it too. Dwight knows he isn't likely to hold that group if they're all healthy. They've killed too many of Negan's people for him to think just tying them up will do it. But he's also seen enough of them to know they're not going to leave one of their own behind. So he injured the biggest "threat" in the group - remember, he's seen a lot of Daryl but not much (any?) of Michonne - as a hedge against an escape attempt.

DD and I have been speculating for weeks about who will get to meet Lucille, and I don't think it is going to be either of the two that have gotten the most buzz about that particular scene. I do think it is going to be someone on the "unkillable" list, but I think we're going to be shocked by who it is.

I think Dwight deliberately shot Daryl on purpose for possibly the reason above, or to save Daryl from getting killed by Negan. Weird, I know, but somehow I think that Dwight feels he owes Daryl for not killing him back at the beginning of the season. Remember Dwight and the two girls were trying to get away from the Saviors in that episode. In my mind, Dwight shoots Daryl in the shoulder because he knows Negan won't kill him because he's injured. Now, I'm not expecting Dwight and Daryl to become new besties and braid each other's hair while telling bedtime stories back at Alexandria, but I do think Dwight feels he owes Daryl for not killing him when he had the chance. Hence the "You'll be alright". Plus I have to go back to AMC is not going to kill off their cash cow character. Norman Reedus' reality show "Ride with Norman" is a non-issue. They film TWD from May to October/November, that leaves plenty of time for Norman to do his side projects. Norman Reedus views TWD as his FT job, he's said he won't take any roles that require him to change his look (ie hair, scruffy beard). That's why he turned down the role in Tomorrowland, and you'll notice in the four movies he's done: Air, Sky, Triple 9, and the cameo in Vacation, he still looks like Daryl Dixon :rotfl2:

I'm still going to use the spoiler button because the writing in white shows up when someone quotes that post. While I personally don't mind reading spoilers or speculations pulled from TWD spoiler forums or Facebook pages, I know some posters don't want to read spoilers. The creator of this thread no longer posts here to change the thread title, so that's out.

With that said
We are SO getting a cliffhanger for the finale. It will be from the POV of whomever is getting Lucille'd. The last fatal blow will be when the screen goes black and the episode ends. It's been confirmed there are NINE people in Negan's lineup. They've got four already: Glenn, Rosita, Daryl, and Michonne. The other five are in the RV: Rick, Carl, Abraham, Aaron, and Maggie. We will see Morgan and Carol in the finale but they are not part of Negan's lineup. Carol is going to be attacked and injured by the Truck Dick who is following her. I honestly believe that they'll stay true to the comics this time and Glenn goes. He really needs to go in order to propel Maggie's storyline. By the way, Dwight's face is burnt on one side because Negan punishes him by burning his face with an iron.

how do you work that spoiler button thingy??

It's the button immediately to the left of the camera.

Liveyourlife I think your spoiler is accurate but I'm hoping we see at least one confirmed death before they give us a cliffhanger

I use an iPad to DIS. When I either reply to a post or start a new post a ribbon shows up at the top. There should be one that has four icons in it: a smiley face, a picture, two film reels, and a piece of paper. If you hit the piece of paper icon a drop down box will appear and one of the options is "spoiler". You hit that and it will allow you to name your spoiler. If you don't want to name your spoiler just hit continue, then you type your text in between the two spoiler fields, your cursor should automatically populate to that spot. Once you're done typing you can post your reply and the spoiler button should also be in your post!

Hi Anniemae!!!

On the "task bar" above where you type a reply, starting on the right, there's the two arrows, then disk, then a camera, then the spoiler button. Click that and it opens a window to type a spoiler. Clear as mud? :)

LMAO, that's not what my task bar looks like!!!!

Ahhhh, thank you! No wonder I could not figure that out!

i'm sure we will have a cliff hanger again for walking dead.

We've had our favorites end the season in a happy place (relatively speaking) and we've had them left in dire straits. This season will definitely end in a bad place. If we are just getting to meet Negan for the first time in the finale, they're going to leave us with him having the upper hand so he can be the prominent villain in the next season.

I get all that, but I just DON'T want a cliffhanger. I want to know who dies.

I'm fine with them killing anybody, including Judith. Anything to move the show past the stagnation that's going on right now.
