The walking dead amc #2

That seems too fast for me with the Rick/Jessie storyline. I was thinking next season, but it will be interesting how it plays out. I am hoping they have some peace in Alexandria for a while(not that they don't have conflict like the Wolves or whatever group that will try to infiltrate), but I am hoping they do stat put for at least next season. I am thinking Glenn may be the one to go by seasons end. Any other ideas who it might be? Sasha?

***COMIC INFO AHEAD***

I didn't think they'd go anywhere with the Rick/Jessie storyline until next season, but the kiss and then the hand on the gun when he sees the husband is telling. In the comics, the husband is indeed a bad guy so it seems we'll learn this before the end of the season.

As for Glenn, I'm curious about that one. As I've mentioned before, Negan kills Glenn in the comics so it's been speculated the same would happen on the show. But to introduce Negan, a major character and anticipated moment for fans of the comic books, and also get to the point where he kills Glenn in only three episodes that remain would be a big undertaking. But seeing as how the show has diverted from the comics, perhaps they'll change it up or omit some things. Frankly, I'm hoping they kill off Sasha. She's been obnoxious lately.

I'm guessing the Wolves show up by the end of the season, and all of next season will focus on Negan. Maybe we'll meet him in the finale, because that would be a great cliff-hanger to end on.

Oh my Carol you're bad, bad, bad you scared me. Carol the new monster under the bed.

OMG...that was insane. :sad2: I'll bake you cookies, lots and lots of cookies.

Oh my Carol, I will never tell my mom anything I see you do:ssst: That was pretty funny. It was a slower episode, but I get they are trying to develop some of the characters/relationships between old and new. I wouldn't say it was awful, but a little slow. Umm, what was Rick doing with the owl chick, that was a little bold. I was shocked by that and a little creeped out by his hand on his gun at the end, he isn't really thinking of killing him just so he can have her or is that foreshadowing b/c he has a hunch he is a bad guy. Wasn't sure about that scene.

We were wondering the same thing. I expected them to pan out of the scene right after he kissed her to see her husband standing in the doorway or something. Yikes!

It was so weird to see them all at a cocktail party, kind of like the apocalypse never happened. I don't like the whole love interest for Rick story, I think that is where they are going with that. The hubby seems shady, the way he shut her down at the party when she was going to get a drink, and the way she moved away from him when he went to put an arm around her. I think Rick sees he is no good and he obviously likes her.

I like Tara, but as a pp said, they hardly show her. I think they have so many main characters, glenn, maggie, michonne, rick, daryl, abraham, tara etc. that they just can't show them all. It's like quantity over quality. I want to see more of the characters instead of little snippets of them in the background.

Something has to go down, they can't stay in this little safe town having parties and baking cookies. I think Sasha may die, she is obviously going through something and it seems to me like her story arc is coming to an end. Just a guess.

I thought Sasha was going to die last night, for sure. Did I miss something at the end when Sasha went outside? Was she just going out to hunt or was she leaving the town?

The impression I got was that she was just going to hunt. I read on another forum that they thought Deanna assigned her the task of hunter rather than look-out, and Deanna handing her the bullets and sending her out was symbolic of that. But, we know Sasha has already gone out on her own and they are free to come and go as they please, so I didn't think too much of her going outside the gates.

Lol. My friend just met him in Vegas in January and said that "he smelled like cigarettes and soap." She found him VERY sexy.

OMG all that and he's a "horse whisperer"? Be still my heart

I aspire to be Carol if I survive for the zombie apocalypse. I learned a looooong time ago that to be a really effective teacher, it does no good to scream and yell, it has to be the words and the tone, and BOY OH BOY did she have that down pat with her threat!

Deanna seems nice to us because we're on the side of Rick's group, but honestly, she's not doing very well by HER group by letting a bunch of strangers come in, especially ones that so obviously have more than a few screws loose.

After losing Beth, now Carol is showing just how ruthless she can be, and it won't be long until she's found out. Rick has forgotten proper male-female relationship etiquette which will come back to bit him in the butt, meanwhile all the insiders seem over-the-top removed from the situation outside-- what is their preoccupation with food and/or finding a pasta machine? I guess they're trying to highlight how much the group has changed and how things can never go back to normal, but I'm having a harder and harder time identifying with anyone on the show. I feel like Rick's group has a good thing (temporary though it might be) and they're proactively trying to jeopardize it.

Because of that, I didn't like this episode much at all. But helllllloooo Spencer. You may make the whole show worth suffering through. ;)

I knew the minute the horse showed up that we would have to watch it be attacked by zombies or get killed in some way. It's a horror movie/tv show trope that I am just really sick to death of. It's like they think the only purpose of showing animals is so that we can see them die later. :sad1:

Did anyone catch the street sign near the end of episode? I swear it said Morgan Drive or Morgan Lane, something similar. Foreshadowing? Although I can't see how they could explain Morgan finding our group, unless maybe Darryl finds him while out scouting or such.

Carol....glad to have you back! (although just a tad over the  line for me!) That kid will never sleep OR eat another cookie again! He'll TAKE the cookies 'cause he's afraid not to, but he will never, ever eat them!

I'm glad Daryl's found a spot, but I don't buy his rolling over quite that easily. Maybe he just really wants to fit in and not be cut out.

Rick's in charge, not crazy. The good (?) people of Alexandria just don't know it yet.

I miss seeing all our crew :( but next week looks like all heck-fire breaks out!

I did!!! I said something to my dh, I was like I finally found and easter egg on my own!

That's TWICE you've killed a horse, TWD. I'm very upset with you right now.

I could not watch that scene. I covered my eyes. And I am a horror and gore fan. That was just too much for me.

Oh yes, watch TWD with my twin 16 year old daughters each week...the horse scene, well you can imagine how that went over in my house, with two teen girls.

We noticed the Morgan street sign too...hmmmmm?????

To take a great quote from another awesome show...I think Rick's group...they are "the one who knocks". They are not in danger.

Guess I don't watch whatever the other show is.....explain!! :)

From Breaking Bad. When Walter's wife finds out he is a drug dealer she says something like I'm afraid one day someone will knock on the door to kill you and he tells her that he is the one who knocks. He is the one people should be afraid of and not the other way around. That isn't it exactly, but the gist of it. Great show, you should Netflix it. Probably one of the best shows I've ever watched start to finish.

But really, even my DH, who is a "horse husband", kept commenting on how PETA and the ASPCA protect animals on tv more than children are protected! Notice how the horse responded to whichever of the zombies was his trainer, by gently kneeling and then laying down (rather than teeth and hoof slashing like would really have happened), no death screams of terror from the horse, the zombie sounds were obviously laid in afterward, the horse being "fed on" was super fake. Plus, as soon as they showed the horse, DH said, "They must still have curry combs and brushes in the zombie world because that horse is sleek and shiny ;)".

I can't imagine surviving in a world without a horse or dog in it (that would make me really sad, too)...

Couldn't agree more on Breaking Bad! About the only series I've watched that I have nothing but great things to say about it. Not to get off topic, but have you been watching Better Call Saul? Moving a little slow for me, but keeping my fingers crossed it picks up a bit.

And Rick & Co are definitely the ones they should be afraid of, and Carol is doing a good job of keeping that hidden!

I am watching it! I agree, though I did love seeing Tuco and I love Mike as the parking garage guy.

I was furious. Kirkman has used this pitiful tool twice. Quit reaching, writers of TWD. Absolutely the reason I think I'm giving up on the show. I keep trying to really think about whether or not I even really care about the remaining characters anymore. This Carol is so cruel. I also hated that scene.

As soon as I saw the horse I knew how it was going to go down. I said to DH, "that horse is going to get attacked by walkers and it will be gruesome."
