The walking dead amc #2

Sorry if I somehow missed this, but where was Father Gabriel this week? I didn't notice him with the group at all. I don't like his character, so maybe I overlooked him, but it hit me when I was reading this thread that I don't remember seeing him in the house with everyone.

He was there. I don't recall him being in the house (although I wasn't looking for him) but I definitely remember seeing him in the background after going through the gates.

Hehe yeah I love Daryl as a character but don't find him particularly attractive. He needs a haircut and a shower.

I think Daryl is crazy attractive (sooooo hot!) ... but I kept telling DH that I could almost smell the stink on him during this last episode.

But for the record, he smells awesome in real life.:rolleyes1

Just need a quick confirmation of a past guest star: was Robin Lord Taylor in a couple of episodes? I'm sure because of the voice but the hair is throwing me.

TIA!

Is he the guy on Gotham? If so, then yes he was on a few episodes. He and his girlfriend met Carol when Rick banished her from the group for killing Tyreese's girlfriend Karen.

He also was in last seasons opener and died a very epic death when Rick, Daryl, Glenn were dragged from the box car and put over the trough. The Gotham guy was smashed with a bat and had his throat slashed. He was also on Talking Dead and was so funny talking about his brief stint on Walking Dead.

Yep, Robin Lord Taylor plays Penguin on Gotham.

Lol. My friend just met him in Vegas in January and said that "he smelled like cigarettes and soap." She found him VERY sexy.

Oh my Carol you're bad, bad, bad you scared me. Carol the new monster under the bed.

Oh my Carol, I will never tell my mom anything I see you do:ssst: That was pretty funny. It was a slower episode, but I get they are trying to develop some of the characters/relationships between old and new. I wouldn't say it was awful, but a little slow. Umm, what was Rick doing with the owl chick, that was a little bold. I was shocked by that and a little creeped out by his hand on his gun at the end, he isn't really thinking of killing him just so he can have her or is that foreshadowing b/c he has a hunch he is a bad guy. Wasn't sure about that scene.

Would it kill them to show Father Gabriel, Eugene or Tara at the party? Don't give them any lines, just to show they're still around...:p

Loved the Carol and Sam scene (yes, I'm warped).:D

Agree that it was a slower episode. You'd think with only 3 episodes left this season that they'd pick up the pace a bit, but next week looks promising. The clear innuendo with Rick/Jessie and clear mention of the W's (on the walker's forehead) will hopefully come to a head by the end of this season.

That seems too fast for me with the Rick/Jessie storyline. I was thinking next season, but it will be interesting how it plays out. I am hoping they have some peace in Alexandria for a while(not that they don't have conflict like the Wolves or whatever group that will try to infiltrate), but I am hoping they do stat put for at least next season. I am thinking Glenn may be the one to go by seasons end. Any other ideas who it might be? Sasha?

It was so weird to see them all at a cocktail party, kind of like the apocalypse never happened. I don't like the whole love interest for Rick story, I think that is where they are going with that. The hubby seems shady, the way he shut her down at the party when she was going to get a drink, and the way she moved away from him when he went to put an arm around her. I think Rick sees he is no good and he obviously likes her.

I like Tara, but as a pp said, they hardly show her. I think they have so many main characters, glenn, maggie, michonne, rick, daryl, abraham, tara etc. that they just can't show them all. It's like quantity over quality. I want to see more of the characters instead of little snippets of them in the background.

Something has to go down, they can't stay in this little safe town having parties and baking cookies. I think Sasha may die, she is obviously going through something and it seems to me like her story arc is coming to an end. Just a guess.
