Nikki...I just read about your hospital stay! I sure hope you are okay now. I am so sorry I wasn't around when it happened!

That is so sweet.:goodvibes

Mr Toad is cool. We also get the Nightmare Before Christmas Holiday overlay on the Haunted Mansion too. And that is really cool. The only bummer is because of that the Haunted Mansion will be closed while we are there in September.

awww...bummer!

These are just some shots that I took around Olde Town. That's a nice place to just hang out. it's free unless you buy something or go on rides. They have shops and food places and rides, music, it's just a cool place.

We went in the AW place as DH was hungry.

Here's some food porn, LOL.. He got a Coney Island Foot Long with french fries and an A&W Rootbeer Float!

cool pics! That hot dog looks GOOD!

It's good to "see" you

Oh definitely a family camping trip. And we always use a tent. It's nice that your Dad and brother came over. Family time is always nice.

There are a lot of great attractions at Disneyland that are great. Is there an Indiana Jones ride at Disneyworld? I want to go to Disneyworld but that is kind of real expensive for a big family like ours.

We don't have that, but we have one that uses the same moving car/track technology...Dinosaur! It's in Animal Kingdom. I've heard that Indy is better though.

I'm finally home. They weren't going to let me go home. They were gonna do some kind of test on my kidneys.:confused3 Not sure what happened with that.

My BP problems started after I had Kyleigh. I had a lot of trouble with her and they stuck me on bed rest cause it was high then, too. I never had high BP or any problems with headaches before I had her. I wonder if that pregnancy didn't do some damage that I don't know about.

I can't even remember all the medicines I'm supposed to be on. Lately, the only ones I'm taking are my BP ones, along with some pain meds.:confused3

glad you are home now. I hope you are feeling okay!

Eh not bad for a Monday. I like your new avatar.:goodvibes

Yeah, same here

but ds and dh sick again with that darn virus

I called pediatrician.

Since no fever, n o need to bring him in

Just keep him hydrated, make him wash his hands a ton and try BRAT diet

I can get him to eat Toast and bananas

No go on applesauce, but maybe rice

Just to bind him up

Fun times

Oh and I lysoled again and pulled off his sheets and blankets and all our pillowcases and they are in washer now

Then I Lysoled the actual pillows and mattreses and whole house

This is really getting old :headache:

those other ones were SO gross. This one is too but it's hilarious!!!

Well I can. I had everything timed out and all. I decided to rework everything. Including where we are staying. The nice thing about Anaheim is you can stay offsite and still be there. We are staying offsite a quarter mile away so we are there for $80 a night instead of $330 a night. More money for souviners.

Wow! I must have missed you announcing this. That is a HUGE price difference! (Gotta save that money up for your WDW trip right? ;))

It's Monday :upsidedow (notice no happy or good morning :rotfl2: )

Just wanted to say hey to everyone! Hope the week starts off good for ya!

:rotfl: morning! err...afternoon!

Change the spelling of the name? What does she think the world revolves around her? I already know that answer. Cheri you are between a rock and a hard place as my Dad would say. It's kind of hard to say no after Mike has said yes. Thanks alot Mike.:rotfl: Why not:confused3

yeah, she really DOES! She is very selfish. And everything is "the wedding this", "the wedding that" Her focus right now should be that baby!
She mentioned that she only got $300 rather than the $600 stimulus...and then "Bob" said "I wish she had gotten the full $600 because that extra $300 could have gone towards the wedding"
And the first thing I thought was "That could have bought plenty of diapers for the BABY YOU'RE ABOUT TO CONCEIVE!"

I have to hold my tongue a lot around them. They seem to think this baby isn't going to cost THEM a thing because they have WIC and Medicaid. And to top it off, he was always SO AGAINST getting governmental help.
WIC nor Medicaid pays for diapers....among other things!

Poor Sharky! And poor DS and DH. That is no fun at all. You gotta love Lysol though. I hope everybody feels better soon. Another couple of foods you may want to try are mashed potatoes and marshmallows. They both work really well.

:)

That is great:goodvibes

You are too funny :rotfl2:

Hope you have a great week, too:thumbsup2

Oh geez....change his last name......:sad2:

Like chele said, since Mike already said yes, I would just say Yes, as well

But I would make sure you make some good faces during her pics:rolleyes1

Thanks for the input. I haven't officially said yes. I guess I should though. I will tell her I will only be in it if I can be paired with Mike. Normally I wouldn't say anything like that, but if she can be childish than so can I! Also I don't feel like answering a million questions about why we didn't walk together.
I already went and looked at the dresses at David's and I found a couple that were "online only" and on sale for $80.00. Hopefully I can get a deal like that when the time comes. The lowest "regular priced" dress is $120.00 The ones I like the most are way up there in $.

The biggest problem I have with this is that I can't roll my eyes through the vows if I am standing up there. And if they ask if anyone has any reason the 2 should not be wed, would it be wrong of me to speak up if I'm actually IN the wedding? :rotfl:

Did not think about mashed potatoes. That a great idea for when he up to eating

He just wants water right now

But he does love his mashed potoates

Thanks:goodvibes

She needs to get her priorities straight. I have news babies are expensive. I know here we have the option of going to Nevada to get married being cheaper and easier in so many ways. Oh boy is there gonna be some waking up there. Poor baby.

I would so say that, too. If she can be childish, so can you :rotfl2:

So, he just telling you color, but you can pick whatever style? That is nice at least:goodvibes

That would be a riot if you stood up and objected :lmao:

Starting off August right

They are doing the same bonus as last month

I am 4 for 4.

Just did one a few mins ago on a possible new cell phone feature

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Good job! I am kinda bummed they are doing that again. The reason they got such a "good response" is because the people that didn't get it because the greenfield was messed up so bad didn't complain! I got it but it was really hard, and only attributed to the fact that the glitch allows more than one survey in a day.

I'd much rather the 20 cents for each survey again like they did a few months ago

oh no!

sorry to hear this!

Man, they are a real piece of work :sad2:

yes, they certainly are. Just to clarify, its not that I have anything against people who really need it...but for someone like her who is so young and in school, who decides she wants to get pregnant at an early age---I don't think she deserves it. I think if you make PLANS like that, you should plan for it when you are financially ready to do so. And I don't care if they say it just "happened" because we all know that she kept saying she wanted a baby by age 21, and I knew she'd make that happen. :sad2:
I think it is completely immature, irresponsible, and so selfish of her to do that. They would have been much better parents had they waited til they were stable in their relationship and out of school!

Oh and I don't think someone who recently got a 50 inch plasma TV should be getting governmental help. :sad2:

I would so say that, too. If she can be childish, so can you :rotfl2:

So, he just telling you color, but you can pick whatever style? That is nice at least:goodvibes

yeah, she said "As long as the dress in long and my wedding color which is pool blue. I don’t care what kind of style you get really as long as it’s not to out there, ya know."

:rotfl2:

It's going to be REALLY hard not to cut up.

I've decided I'm going to get a push up bra and do whatever else I can to make myself super sexy in her wedding. ;)
Maybe some collagen in my lips. :rotfl:

She needs to get her priorities straight. I have news babies are expensive. I know here we have the option of going to Nevada to get married being cheaper and easier in so many ways. Oh boy is there gonna be some waking up there. Poor baby.

poor baby, indeed. :sad2:

It's Monday :upsidedow (notice no happy or good morning :rotfl2: )

Just wanted to say hey to everyone! Hope the week starts off good for ya!
And guess what I did today?? I missed my alarm and didn't get up for work until 9 o'clock!!! I found myself lying on my new couch this morning, and I have no idea how I got there. I hope I wasn't walking around outside in the tank top and undies that I wore to bed.
I have not caught up. I have about 10 pages. But I just have to say this...

I've just been asked THROUGH EMAIL to be a bridesmaid in my pregnant cousin's wedding in May. She is engaged to my friend who we specifically WARNED against her....and knew this would happen. She got pregnant purposefully...she had been wanting a baby for a long time. (and she's only 21!!!) She's his first relationship, they've been together for only a year now, and she's having his baby in October. And she's making him change the spelling of his name on his birth certificate because SHE doesn't want to spell the baby's name that way!!!

It's utterly ridiculous.

I still haven't said yes or no to being in the wedding. I didn't know what to say so I asked her about the cost of the dress. She said it would depend what I pick...she said as long as it's long and Pool blue. So I'm assuming that's David's Bridal.

I just didn't want to be in a wedding I don't condone. I wasn't sure if Mike had said yes officially so I called him to ask if he was standing in it and he said yes. He laughed at me when I told him she asked me. :sad2:

I told him maybe I'll say yes, too, and we can cut up in the pictures. :lmao: He said he would disappear for an hour...:rotfl: (This same friend, we'll call him Bob, was an usher in our wedding, and he disappeared just before taking group pictures. It turned out he was in the bathroom...:confused3)

Anyone who wants to put in their 2 cents...feel free!
Huh? Change the name? Well if she didn't like his name, she shouldn't be having his baby, marrying him, or changing her last name. I think I got the shaft with my last name, but I didn't make the poor guy change his name.

Just tell them no, you don't agree with them getting married just yet.

I have NONE yet.
Nikki...I just read about your hospital stay! I sure hope you are okay now. I am so sorry I wasn't around when it happened!
I went to pick up my prescriptions today and that awful pill organizer, and I took my BP while I was there. 170/110 this time. Still can't get it low.:confused3

She seems to be thinking a lot of herself and not much about this baby they're about to have. I don't mean to be hypocritical, because I had my kids young, but if I had it to do over again, I would definitely wait. She can't change that now, so she's going to have to get used to the fact that she won't be the one getting Christmas presents, being the center of attention, and she won't get time to act like a young adult, cause she'll have a baby to worry about. I didn't realize that kind of stuff before I had kids. I didn't go anywhere for years. I just recently started going out again because my kids are old enough now that someone will babysit them if I want to do something. But now I'm too old to care if I go out.:confused3

I don't think it would be wrong, just make sure you get the video up here.:rotfl:
