Actually we are thinking Alabama (don't laugh). For Katrina, we went to Montgomery for a day or two and then realized that we would have to stay away for a while so we headed to South Carolina to visit relatives.

I would love to come visit ya'll but that is a little further north than we intended

We pulled our fifth wheel to NJ several times and stayed at the Sharky Campground, it was the best, good neighbors, water and electric hook up, sorry, no sewer though so you have to stop at a Flying J or one of the truckstops that have dump tanks. You can do it, go ahead OB, go visit Sharky!!!!

Good Morning OB! I am glad you are well rested, now you can go out and pack the 5th wheel and get prepared, lots of water and non perishables in case you can't get into a campground and have no electric. You can run your fridge on your gas and your stove but who knows if you'll be away long and run out of propane and then if you can get it, so make sure you have water, crackers, cereal, bread, peanut butter, canned fruit, etc. Lots of stuff you can eat without cooking it or having to keep it refrigerated! Good Luck and God bless! Be careful and let us know you are okay!

Hey thanks for the advise Mommom! We will probably get more stuff while we are on the road. I have heard the stores here are wiped out. I am trying to think of this as more of an adventure! I will keep in touch!

I made my 13 last night and have tonight to spare, lol, as we leave Friday for Louisiana to go get the camper and I can't use the computer till we get back, we discontinued service at home.

Yes I know we are heading there when Gustav is heading there and normally we go across the panhandle and go through Slidell and Hammond and head north but we may have to use an alternate route because of that darned old Gustav. I just head there's another one out there, I forget the name though. Its more than likely heading across the Bahamas and then they don't know where yet. This has been some Hurricane season so far, I wish it would stop!!!

good morning guys! just got back from the DRs for a baby appointment.. evrything is looking good.. she doesnt think i have the allergic reaction thing because of where it itches and what it looks like shes still thinking heat rash.. they did the blood test for the chromosomial malfunction thing (basically to se if the baby would have down syndrom and such) and it came back negative.. good stuff.. I wasnt suspecting he would have it and I wasnt afraid he would I just wanted to know in advance if he would that way i could do some research on how to best take care of him and stuff..

sad news.. i think Gwenie has a foxtail in her ear.. we cant see anything but the way shes acting makes us think that.. or its an ear infection.. hopefully ear infection.. poor baby has already had a foxtail embedded in her eye and removed.. shes such a sad sack right now.. she has an appointment at the vet today at 2.. its the soonest we could get her in..

Sharky, I am good I guess. My son Loren has a sinus and ear infection. Yipee. That is the one thing I should tell you is that invariably ever year in the first few weeks of school kids get a cold. I know it for fact that at least one out of three get one. Seriously.

Is he too young to use hand sanitizer wipes? You could make sure he uses them at school. Although that doesn't always help. Does he use steroids? If he does start them before school and at the first sign of any cold double the steroids up. That always works with Kacy.

We may see a lot of Kody she is looking for a new website to hangout on.
