The wait is killing me! 2014 packages

I am so hoping touring plans is right on the money with the crowd calendar for spring! Our spring break is the week of March 31-April 4 and they have it listed as 4's, 5's, and one 6 all week! Crossing my fingers and waiting for July 10th to get here!!!

Oh you aren't alone..the dates are released the day before my birthday..

We are planning March/April next year also and now are considering a split stay so are even MORE anxious to figure this all out.

We are hoping to do a split stay in Dec 2014, but I'm dying to start playing with real dates online! I haven't been since 1997!! Cant wait to go with DH

Because Easter is late in April 2014, does anyone know if there are a lot of school vacations that week? or if it will be extra crowded?? I really dont have a choice anyway but to go that week which is OUR school vacation, but a heads up of the crowds will be good to know. It may also help with my choice of resorts as far as which one has its own bus! Thanks

MA school vacation is the week after Easter. This past year it wasn't the same week. Not that MA will make a huge difference - The week after Easter will be absolutely packed regardless. Between the crowds and what I know will be HUGE airfare costs - we are going to skip it.

I know it I have been at my job for 15 years and this is the first time I will get school vacation off, only to find out it coincides with Easter What are the chances?!?!?! Just my luck, but I dont have much of a choice with my daughter who is type A in the 8th grade. If I want to get in a full week after waiting for 3 years we are so limited. I am dreading the cost of air and crowds, but see very little choice

I can not wait until packages come out! I am needing to postpone a trip for this October to next October since my mom passed away in May and was my travel partner. I will do a solo trip in 2014 for Food and Wine. Excited and nervous! I have never traveled alone.

Oh, thank you hun.

I have had people say I should keep my current trip, but I believe it will be too soon for me. Plus, I will hopefully be starting a new job by the end of the summer (and moving to another state) so I would like to wait a little bit. I have a big family trip in planning for fall of 2015 so will most likely get an AP.

This is our spring break too. I would love it if touring plans crowd calendar was accurate for that week! Only 2 more days and then we can book!

Same here...because of the time of year I think Im going to book the Sat to Sat and go from there with the prices, AND then we will see what the flight $$ are like. It is certainly going to be interesting! My only concern is my Dd & I were excited to be upgrading to a moderate for the first time, so I am hoping the rates dont scare me so much I go back to a value again

I wish that had been true. However, travel agent facebooks pages and their posts here on the Dis indicate that they will be out on the 10th of this month.

Hey folks, I'm going to jump on this thread since I have taken on the (insane?) project of planning a group trip for 2014. DH and I go every year (taking a breather this year), usually in November or December. Next year it must be October as folks want to do Food & Wine Festival and MNSSHP, and I find myself longing for the good old days when October was value season.
