Agreed, she has butchered her reputation like mad, while the guys have become ICONS! She used this opportunity so incorrectly. I think there is serious animosity between Tony and Xtina, it's so obvious and so sad. She is a superstar and he's humbly trying to make it, what could possibly make her so bitter?
I so much agree with this! Before last season, I knew a few Maroon 5 songs and liked them well enough. I loved "Forget You" but thought of it and Cee-Lo Green as pretty much a novelty. Might've heard the name Blake Shelton before, but not being a country music fan in the least, I couldn't have pointed him out in a small crowd of otherwise short people or named a single song he sang. OTOH, Christina Aguilera was a household name, though I never much cared for her music.
Now I've come to really, really like all three of the guys and to really, REALLY dislike Christina. The guys have such a nice, natural, fun banter, and they genuinely seem to want to help other artists make it. I don't always agree with their choices/decisions (read: RaeLynn), but I think the male judges are sincere in their critiques and want to make their team members look good.
I read the People article and it made me like Blake, Adam and Cee-Lo even more. Blake and Adam were so gracious, saying things like "Sure, Christina is a bit of a diva, but she's earned it" and "It's hard for Christina being the only female judge" and basically saying people should cut her some slack.
Now, some of the guest artists and The Voice staff are complaining about her:
While The Voice is a solid hit, a couple of key staff members of the talent showcase wish they didnt have to work with judge Christina Aguilera who one TV pro on the show says, takes diva to a whole new level.
The source, who has worked with some of the biggest musical stars on the planet, insists Aguilera is by far the most difficult. Shes constantly demanding, never appreciative of anything and just plain nasty.
On the contrary, an Aguilera associate insists. This source says the superstar is a total perfectionist. Christina wants the show to be the best musical competition out there, and she wont settle for second best. If that means stepping on a few peoples toes, then so be it.
Of course, Aguileras edgy personality sometimes seeps out very publicly. While she denied she dissed Justin Bieber last week with her facial and body language, the members of the Wanted also felt insulted by Agui*lera. They gossiped about her virtually ignoring them on The Voice during a Friday interview with a New York radio show.

I really hope Christina won't be back next year. She's taking some of the enjoyment out of the show for me, and The Voice would be so much better without her.
