i don't know if she's really trying to HELP him by being so nasty to him. i don't know if she realizes that is what is happening.

she's nasty; he gets publicity. hm.

i'd think that, except she really does seem to dislike him. it's funny that she didn't recognize him though. i'd think she'd remember someone she really hated. i don't know how much she is in contact with MMC people though. she comes across like she thinks she's better than everyone. it is all about her.

and her precious pet Lindsay is gone now. so, i'm sure she's extra happy now.

....gee, could you tell that, every time she starts singing a few bars, apparently showing the world that SHE can sing it better than the contestant??

....okay, on a serious note, is it only me that noticed [and I am only pointing out an observation - this is in NO WAY intented to be sexist/racist by any means] that when they sang their 'group number', there was one 'out-of-the-box', off-kilter white chick, a 'full-bodied' diva-type powerhouse singer, a black artist, and a slightly over-the-age-to-be-a-teen heartthrob white guy? It looked too contrived to me....

Wow, the truth!

Problem with MOST child stars -- they were made important too soon and didn't grow up like people who took the hard knocks. Tony obviously had to do whatever it took to be seen, Xtina had it handed to her on a silver platter. She needs a HUGE dose of humble pie, but I truly believe that some of this narcissism is based on a deep seated insecurity. Only people who are down drag people down with them.

I so much agree with this! Before last season, I knew a few Maroon 5 songs and liked them well enough. I loved "Forget You" but thought of it and Cee-Lo Green as pretty much a novelty. Might've heard the name Blake Shelton before, but not being a country music fan in the least, I couldn't have pointed him out in a small crowd of otherwise short people or named a single song he sang. OTOH, Christina Aguilera was a household name, though I never much cared for her music.

Now I've come to really, really like all three of the guys and to really, REALLY dislike Christina. The guys have such a nice, natural, fun banter, and they genuinely seem to want to help other artists make it. I don't always agree with their choices/decisions (read: RaeLynn), but I think the male judges are sincere in their critiques and want to make their team members look good.....

you would think she could afford a good stylist.

and yes, Adam Levine, Cee-lo and Blake have become household names. I knew who two of them were, but didn't know much about Cee-lo and Blake. I have Maroon Five music already, so I knew Adam Levine. but none of them were getting magazine covers. and now, they're stars. so yeah, they've come out for the better. Christina was already faltering in the public eye, but this has done serious damage to her reputation. and i do think she sees herself as THE star of the show. too bad.

I really liked Lindsay, so I am sad to see her go, but I firmly Team Tony!! I am ashamed to say that I have spent the better part of my day on Amazon listening to his albums, and WOW!!!

And here is the funny thing... I watched MMC back in the day, and Xtina, Justin, Britney OR Tony never stood out to me, I don't even remember them at all. Chase was always my guy. I always liked the funnier skits I guess.

Anyway, go Tony!! I usually don't get to watch the show until Tuesday morning since I have school Monday nights, but I guess I'll have to just so I can vote live for the final!

Jamar Rogers will perform "It's My Life" on Ellen today. Though he looked angry when he was eliminated the other night, he's been gracious since. On FB, he asked fans not to send angry Tweets to CeeLo.

I really wish him well and hope he goes on to great things. His story was the most inspiring to me this season, and I think a lot of us can learn a great lesson from him about turning your life around and not giving up when hope seems lost.

ITA and think it was a fair competition b/w Juliet and Jamar, but apparently some people were angry with CeeLo over Jamar's elimination. IMHO, and any all hate mail, angry Tweets, etc. should be directed at Christina. ;-)

I caught Jamar on Ellen's show on Friday. He brought me to TEARS with his humility! His experiences have become his testimony and he will be a blessing to people going thru what he's been thru. God bless him!

the group you mentioned were not in the earlier years of MMC. i started watching with Damon, Chase, DeeDee, etc. i think that they were in The Party group when the others were added to the cast. they were phasing them out of the show, IIRC.
