AND they need to get moving quickly before tariffs jack up the price of everything….

I missed this contract and I see how it was actually for the Disneyland hotel. What was the price PP when everyone thought it was for VGC?

Good chance I have a “this is nice, but you shouldn’t spend the money” moment…. especially as we sign closing docs on another 125pt VGC contract….

But…. annual bonus hits on 12/15….

It was 500 points @ $175pp.

I’m purchasing 125, but selling 200 to get them all in the same UY. When completed we will have 422 @ VGC.

I’m hoping we can move from 2Bd’s to 1bd’s post refurb if they put in Murphy beds. We already have a 2bd booked for August and we’ll keep it just in case the refurb gets pushed back due to tariff issues, etc.

Going the other way....studio and 1br and 2br now with adult children with adult friends. Points don't go as far in 2br! Aul stay in jan crushing points, lol.

We’ve got a multigenerational trip in an AUL GV for a week in June. Low point season, still lot of points.

Nice. We're still just at 160. But hoping to eventually add 50-75. Right now, we still need to do studios at least half the time. I'd love to have enough for a 1BR each time though. Maybe someday!

We have only 150 points, purchased at $140 pp. I can’t stomach the higher prices so that’s it for VGC points. Except for race weekends, random 1-bedrooms are easy to pick up with non-VGC points. Being local and retired helps.

@AstroBlasters, since you’ve stayed at VGC and VDH in the last few months, which one was your preference (given the current state of VGC rooms)? I strongly prefer the grand (I’ve never stayed on the villa side though), but am waffling because I keep reading drastically different opinions on the state of the rooms. Part of me thinks I should use this chance to give VDH a try, but I’m worried I’ll be sad I’m not at VGC.

My wife hates VDH… literally has disdain for how how it has “ruined the DLH”.

I’m glad it’s there for more 7m availability and really like the outdoor bar area.

I would always choose to stay in VGC between the two unless all I needed was a duo for a night.
