The Village Haus

No booking needed. If your in the mood for a big greasy burger and fries than this is your place. Had it once. That's all I need. Too fast-foodish for me.

Yeah not a sit-down place. Just counter service. Low on my list of recs.

I had that feeling. Reviews not that great on Yelp etc...ok..so...suggestions for dinner 3 kids with the dining plan vouchers. :p (Trying to find a list of sit down, quick service and snack places that accept them)

Ages and gender would be a factor.

Little girls should go to Ariel's Grotto, boys probably wouldn't care much about the princesses.

Blue Bayou is really fun. I highly recommend the 11:30 lunch at a waterside table there. The kids menu is good there too. My DDs like the Salmon.
Storytellers is a nice family place too.

Plaza Inn is nice. Try to go at an odd time. 11:30 or 4 works good.

In my opinion Cafe Orleans gets too crowded and noisy for a relaxing meal.

Counter service is great all over the parks. My favorite CS is Taste Pilots.
Quick Service is pretty good too.
My favorite QS is Award Wieners.

For a treat for the kids get Tigger Tails from Pooh's Corner.

We like the Village Haus. It's on the short list of fast places to eat when we visit.

The burger I always order, whose name I can't remember, has pastrami on it! On the burger! Vacation food yum yum!

And they have good french fries as well, which is great for us because our kid is super persnickety, and he loves their fries.

And lastly the decor is great - it has a sort of folky dark wood 1600s lodge feel to it with AMAZING artwork inside! The paintings in the Village Haus are, I think, some of the best in the park.

What are Tigger Tails?

Rants or raves? Pondering booking dinner there....

We may be in the minority but we love Village Haus! Yes, its fast foody, and no, there is nothing special. But for us you can't beat it for a burger and fries at DLR. We also love the atmosphere in there and as many times as we have been there its never busy. We tend to hit lunch early, right at 11 and dinner early at 4:30 or late at 7 to avoid crowds.

Woooooow! Thanks for that!! I had no idea! I will be getting one in Oct for sure!! Right after we eat at the Village Haus...:)

Theme Park Food Perfection. :)

We actually love Villiage Haus. The kids love the burger or pizza kid meals. The burgers are big enough for my husband and I to split and we usually get the pastrami burger. The regular angus burger is good as well.

We especially love the Pinocchio theme of the restaurant :)

The vouchers are just like cash. You can use them anywhere inside the parks (not Downtown Disney).

I like Village Haus as well. It has the right combo of offerings so our whole group can get something they want. The pastrami burger and pretzel sausage with the sauerkraut are fine for a quick meal and, i think, unique to this food counter

We like Village Haus too! I had the chicken sausage on a pretzel bun and it was yummy! My sis and the kids had burgers and fries and enjoyed theirs too! It's a great counter service place!

We always enjoy the Village Haus too for lunch. We enjoy the atmosphere! It's a really cute little restaurant.

We like the Village Haus as well, they have a salad there that I really like and the kids like the burgers and the pizza. It isn't our first choice but it's good.

We really like the Village Haus and we don't feel the hamburgers are greasy. The atmosphere is really nice and its a nice place to rest. You kind of get the feel that you are sitting right in Pinocchio's house. We actually like to sit by the fireplace.
