Heard that "The View" will be at Animal Kingdom next week filming. How can you get tickets to see the show?

Tickets were given out in January shortly after the taping was announced on the show.

The View begins taping some segments over the weekend and the 5 shows will tape Monday through Wednesday in front of the Tree.

James Cameron and Whoopi will be in the park on Thursday to tape the Pandora segment.

Looks like the view is GONE for The View. :( Glad I arrive next Friday.

:sad2: We're headed to AK on Thursday. I expect they'll still be in the process of taking this down then?

See below .... show will not be all live this week.

PS Whoopi was working at HM today, assume for show. Heard they are doing pre-film work all weekend so may be other sightings. I don't know most on the show so wouldn't recognize them.

Shooting in front of the tree should end on Wednesday and those segments are edited into the 5 shows.

Segments will be filmed throughout the weekend. And then the main shows are taped Monday through Wednesday.

Doesn't look like they are having a very big audience at this point.
I attended one of The Chew tapings last fall and there was a pretty big audience.

Not sure in this case what a big audience would be, but I estimate that the audience for today's live broadcast and taping of Thursday's show consisted of about 75, maybe even as many as 100 people. But there were a lot of people in the standby coral. Some of them were allowed in as some people entered without wristbands. Those with tickets were given a wristband. There appeared to be 3 different audience groups. The first watched the taping of the singer, Andy Grammer's performance. I'm not sure in what segment that will appear. The second was for the live Monday show and the 3rd was for Thursday's taped show.

There were rain clouds nearby and everyone thought it was going to rain, but it didn't. It was organized chaos outside the stage and audience areas as day guests were coming in in droves and of course most were curious or wanted to stop and watch. That wasn't going to happen, they had to keep moving or get a spot in the tiny day guest viewing area.

In addition to the show's regulars, and as previously mentioned, Andy Grammer, John Stamos, Mandy Moore and James Cameron made appearances.

I expect tomorrow's routine to be about the same except I won't be there.

Then that explains why John Stamos was at Epcot on Saturday

Yes!

And here's the listing for Tuesday and Wednesday's taping:
Tuesday, March 7th
  • Ariel Winter
  • Sherri Shepherd
  • Train
  • Tom Bergeron
Wednesday, March 8th
  • Eric Stonestreet
  • Audra McDonald
Tuesday's tapings air on Tuesday and Friday. Wednesday's taping airs on Wednesday.

Yup, I'm assuming that he also stopped by, as he usually does around this time of year, "Give Kids the World" in Kissimmee. He's a big supporter and has visited for over 15 years.

I'm so not hip, do they still use that phrase? I only recognize one of the names.
If you were a fan of Modern Family, you'd recognize Ariel Winter (also gives Sofia the First her voice) and Eric Stonestreet.

Sherri Shepherd used to sub on The View. Tom Bergeron from Dancing with the Stars and Audra McDonald is a Broadway star and I believe she has a new TV show - probably on ABC. ;)

Sneak peeks of Pandora will begin on Thursday morning when "Good Morning America," will give viewers a first look at Avatar Flight of Passage. On The View, Director James Cameron takes Whoopi Goldberg for a look at the Na'vi River Journey. And later that night "Nightline" will also have a segment on Pandora. Even The Chew gets into the act by introducing a snack found on Pandora.
