I feel like a total cradle robber but I find Jeremy hot (is he any relation to Steve McQueen BTW? Trying to settle a bet)

Over the first couple seasons, he has definitely grown into his looks. I actually find him more attractive than Damon this season scared1 I think Damon's hair is throwing me off.

I enjoyed tonight's episode a lot.

I was literally throwing things at my TV when Klaus killed Tyler. I was so scared that they were going to kill him because with show you just never know. I am glad that he is fine but did you all see Caroline's worried face at the end? I am not sure this is going to end well.

I hate that Klaus compelled Stefan. It was a cop out to me. I was impressed with him trying to save Elena at first but I am not liking this new Stefan.

I love Damon and Elena. We need more interaction between them like at the end of the episode.

Why is Matt now seeing dead Vicky? That makes no sense.

Jeremy and Katherine together was interesting. I like that they are making Jeremy more useful this season.

I wonder how Sheriff Forbes and Mrs. Lockwood are going to take the new that Tyler is now a halfbreed.

Also, why didn't Klaus take Tyler with him?

I totally agree on both counts! I have been "Team Damon" from the beginning.

Why is Matt now seeing dead Vicky? That makes no sense.

He can see her now because he's been to "the other side". That was why he wanted to make sure he died in the pool before Bonnie could reach him, and then she'd have to bring him back.

Jeremy and Katherine together was interesting. I like that they are making Jeremy more useful this season.

I'm pretty sure this was pure panic on Klaus' part ~ he has to regroup now, but since he knows Elena's blood is the key, he'll be back with a new plan, I'm sure! I have a love/hate thing for Klaus ~ I don't want him to succeed, but he brings a lot of electricity to the show!

I am loving all the intensity this season!

I thought Matt's ghost visions made sense. He was at death's door, just the same as Jeremy when he started seeing them.

I just got caught up after 3 weeks of DVR'd episodes! Can't believe I have waited this long to watch them!! Last weeks episode was the best!! I loved it!!

Has anyone read the books? I am wondering if the show is following the books or deviating from the original like True Blood?

I also love Tyler and Caroline! I think Klaus ran without taking Tyler simply because he was in a rush to get out of town since Damon said Michael knew he was in town.

I am interested to see what will happen with the Damon/Elena/Stefan triangle!

I read the first 3 or 4 books- yes, the series mainly uses the books as a "jumping off" point. In the books, Elena becomes a vampire pretty early on- so, the TV series is very different.

I read the original books. They changed people's characters around (Caroline comes to mind) and left out other characters (Meredith). In the book, Bonnie had psychic powers but wasn't really a full blown witch. One trend that carried over from the books? Damon being a total badass.

Funny, a guy came into the shop on Saturday with the same name and we had a discussion about Steve McQueen and his grandson being on TVD. This guy spelled his name STEVE as well, and apparently gets the ribbing, etc all the time....

To be honest, I wasn't crazy about what Klaus did to Tyler, but it will give Tyler more bite I guess (lol). Matt needs a storyline, and seeing ghosts will give him one, as he sure has no love life now. Ditto with Alaric - why the heck did they kill off Jenna?!

We'll see how this weeks ep goes; And I thought Elena's necklace was supposed to be a locket that carried vervaine...now every vampire onthe show has touched it with no ill effects, and is it still a locket? Or maybe because it's magic, it can change itself?

I really thought that they wouldn't have killed her off for good. I was shocked at the end of last season!

I love evil Stefan and I love sensitive Damon. I like that their roles have been reversed this season!

How have I missed this thread? OMG I think this is my favorite show on TV. I'm totally on team Damon but Stephan is more interesting this season.

Jeremy is Steve McQueen's son for whoever asked that.

Great season so far and I adore Klaus and his evilness. I think turning Tyler into a hybrid is going to have been a big big mistake. I hope he's around all season because he's so much fun.

So I watch a lot of TV. A LOT. 2-3 nights a week DH and I have 4 shows recording at a time at 8 and 9. So it takes a lot for me to really get into a show.

This season of Vampire Diaries is probably my favorite EVER! I just cannot get over how many twists are packed into every single episode!

Mason is back!!! I was like "ahhhhh MASON!!!"

I'm sure Katherine isn't dead, but I think its awesome Michael eats vampires.

Matt is an idiot.

I wonder what they are going to do with Anna and Jeremy now.

Does anyone think Stefan has at least a little bit of feeling? Or is he faking the little bit he's shown? I think Klaus can turn off his humanity, but that doesn't necessarily mean he can (or has) turned off Stefan's feelings for Elena.

We needed more Elena/Damon interaction this episode. What they had though was quite lovely!!

Another great episode last night! I did not like Tyler's new personality, but I did like the way Caroline told him off....how he is acting like the old Tyler and she would have never been friends with the old Tyler because he was a jerk! Ha-ha! Loved the scene between Damon and Elena when he was showing her how to get to a vampires heart! Cannot stand Klaus's sister....ugh!

I just discovered this show on Netflix (first 2 seasons) and watched them all over the last 4 weeks. Love the show and Damon (Booth from LOST for all you LOST fans!!) is my favorite!!

Can someone tell me why I can't get Episodes 4, 5 and 6 for Season 3? I've watched 1 - 3 and 7 -9 but for some reason they are not offered either through HULU plus OR CW on-line. What's up with that?
