I just discovered this show on Netflix (first 2 seasons) and watched them all over the last 4 weeks. Love the show and Damon (Booth from LOST for all you LOST fans!!) is my favorite!!

Can someone tell me why I can't get Episodes 4, 5 and 6 for Season 3? I've watched 1 - 3 and 7 -9 but for some reason they are not offered either through HULU plus OR CW on-line. What's up with that?

I thought his name was Boone on Lost.

What did you think of last night's episode? I kind of figured when the coffin was spelled shut that it was the witchy mother, but what I don't get is why she looks exactly the same as she did 1000 years ago. Is she supposed to be a vampire too?

I loved that all the brothers and sister turned on Claus! But I am getting tired of the killing off of people. Having Caroline's dad get attacked by Tyler while trying to help him was a great idea, one-upped by him being saved by taking Damon's blood, but then to kill him off right away? And Ric? At least he's ok, but what's up there?

I am getting tired of the killing too. There are other ways to make the show suspenseful without killing someone every episode. At this point, killing a character doesn't seem that dramatic to me anymore. The whole Original family storyline is getting kind of boring. I hope they wrap it up soon, although I don't know what other kind of threat the writers would manage to come up with, since there wouldn't be much of a show if everyone was happy and safe in Mystic Falls.

Does anyone think that Katherine is really dead? It only showed her being bitten by Michael and that's it.

Well there is a serial killer among them so who do we believe that to be? I'm guessing that its the sheriff or Tylers mom.

How long do you think it will be before someone turns Elena? I'm guessing that it will be one of the originals to tick off the Salvator brothers.

Katherine isn't dead - she showed back up a few episodes ago when Klaus killed Michael (she was impersonating Elena) and she also drove Stefan away at the end of the episode when he told her the reason he didn't let Damon kill Klaus was because Klaus had the hybrids primed to kill Damon if he died.

Would Katherine and Elena have the same finger prints, since Elena's prints were on the stake in the medical examiner? The TV series is so different than the books but in the books Katherine was truly evil so I wonder if they are going down that road with her at all?

Was it just me or was Elijah overly handsome in this episode?

It was not just you, Elijah looked really, really good last night.

This show keeps amazing me every week. I am curious to see who keeps killing everyone with Alaric's weapons. I had thought about Katherine but what would she have to gain? It has to be someone with a lot to gain from killing the council members.

Caroline's scenes with her dad last night killed me. Having lost my dad a few years ago, I felt all those feeling that she did.

How in the HE double hockey sticks is Klaus' mom still alive? I thought witches were not immortal on this show?

I was lost last night about Alaric and his "evil side" - and was Damon really so dumb as to get set up by Sage, who he knew was an original's girlfriend/longtime love?

While I don't think this season has been as good as the other 2, it's still fairly good.

I watched last night! Actually I've never missed an episode, I'm obsessed

Yeah last nights episode was my least favorite so far. I agree this season isn't as good as the last two but I still love it. But can't Alarik catch a break? He's been through enough! And now I'm worried about poor Jeremy! I hope he doesn't turn out like Alarik because of the ring! I did love the ending but the previews for next week have me worried!

I have been a faithful watcher since the beginning, and I enjoyed last night's epsiode. I loved seeing another side to Alaric and seeing how much he truly cares about Elena and Jermey, leaving her all the information she needed. I feel there is so much more to this story that we have not seen yet.

I knew all along that Sage was playing Damon which is why I was so dumbfounded that he fell for it. I am glad that he kept the old sign a secret but am I the only one who does not want the originals to die? I love Klaus, Elijah, and even Rebekkah.

I love this show !!! it is filmed like an hour away from my house and I want to go there so bad but all my friends said that the show will end up with a restraining order against me. lol

Who caught it last night? It was really good but Elena picked Stefan and not Damon. Can you tell who I was rooting for

Looks like Eleana is joining the vamp community and Rick is going to be the ghost with the most on that show in Season 4.

Poor Tyler, he gets to be Klaus like, FOREVER!!

I figured she'd pick Stefan, especailly since nina and ian date in real life.
When she "drowned" i thought maybe there was going to be a spell thing or something like before (to get rid of vampire hunter Ric, who I didn't like anyway), but I had also heard that she turns vampire in the books (I only read #1 and frankly didn't like her very much, and it's pretty different than the show anyway).

I figured that the Klaus in the coffin when Ric attacked was a fake, but i guess not. then what happend to Tyler? Dead or just "sleeping" like Ric was when klaus took over his body? I think Joe Morgan (Klaus) and will miss him. Woudln't surprise me if he's back sometime later.

so i guess it's down to did the doc (i forget her name) give Elena vamp blood or was there some kind of spell? Bonnie said she was trying to save her friends (and her mom).

What a show! That episode was so good!

Ok, here's my take on things. I think Bonnie saved Clause & then helped him get into Tyler's body. That was why Tyler "acted" as if he was dying and sent Caroline away. He was already Clause. I think Tyler is just sleeping and stored some where safe (in Clause's body). She said she did it to save her friends because she knew Clause dead meant Tyler, Caroline, Stefan, and Damon would die and that would kill Elaina. Plus her mom would die too! The Dr did give Elaina vamp blood and that is why she came back to life and she will be a vampire now.

I love this show but felt during this season there were a couple of questionable episodes. But this finale was great and brought back all the reasons why I love this show!!

Last night's episode was really good. I was not surprised that she ended up picking Stefan over Damon. He is the safer choice.

I was also not surprised that Elena died with Vampire blood in her. I mean how long could the show go on without making Elena a vampire.

I will miss Alaric. I heard the actor was cast on another show, so who knows if he will be a part of next season.

I, however, did not see the Klaus/Tyler twist coming. I wonder how it will play out. I will be said if Joseph Morgan does not return next season.

I sat down to watch this show on Thursday night and wondered, "when will Elena become a vampire?" Ha! Didn't she do just that!?!

I hope he wasn't in Klaus' body- it was destroyed by Alaric. I think Tyler is still in his body, but Klaus is just in charge right now. Hopefully Bonnie can evict him and Tyler can re-emerge, unharmed.

I agree, GREAT episode! I teared up there at the end. I want it to be fall already so I can see what happens next!!
