The US $$$-DOLLAR-$$$ Help needed!

Hi, Can anybody help me out here.
I am coming from England tomorrow to Orlando.
I bought all my US Dollars from a High Street Bureau de Change.
All of my Dollars are crisp brand new notes.
The other day at work, a guy said he had $350 left over from his last visit to the States 5 years ago, and would I like to buy them from him.
I said yes, well I have them here now in front of me, and I have noticed that the $1, $5, $10 & $20 notes are different to what I have just bought.
The faces on these old notes depict the Presidents smaller and inset in a circle.
Can anybody let me know whether these notes are still in US circulation, or have they been withdrawn.

The older bills haven't been withdrawn. No worries.
