I like option one. I would 100% understand what character you are, especially with accessories and other clues. I don't think I'd remember if she has a collar or not, nor would I care if I did. Unless you're just particular and really want it to be character accurate, I think the first one in the right color is the best.

I concur, the color looks so spot-on that once you've got the accessories, no one will even notice the lack of a collar.

A bit late here but chiming in since I was summoned. I agree that color is more important. But most important is comfort!! I can't imagine using those race portas in a jumpsuit. I'd suggest a matching top & bottom set if you can find it.

Heck, most folks wouldn't recognize Gadget Hackwrench if you showed up in an exact replica so choose function over fashion.

The neck looks loose enough that she could probably just drop it off the shoulders and pull it down

I used the porta potties in a dragon onesie at wine and dine so I've got experience haha.

I've never bought crowned athletics, mostly because when ever I saw something I liked it was sold out when I went to look at the website. I was hoping that with the new release I would be able to but the skirts I liked are already sold out. Is this like rundisney where you need to be on the computer right when the release is?

Usually, yes. I was hoping they’d have more stock with their Disney deal, but apparently not!

Circling back to star wars costumes for MW5k.

DD's costume: still need to decide on vader ear headband or see if SIL can locate the helmet. Helmet would be great if it's cold, but DD will likely get annoyed with it and DH or I will end up carrying it for some/most of the race.

DH's costume: need to order shirt, have a bid in on the r2 ear hat on ebay.

My costume: matching shades of yellow is going to do me in, and I need to decide between ear hat and headband.

They did NOT make matching leggings. The closest thing I've found is a pair of poprageous leggings, but of course those are from years ago and they are discontinued and I cannot find any of them through any of the resale sites. Basically everything I've seen on etsy is too flat/light yellow to "match" closely enough for my preference, and the yellow leggings I've seen online seem to have a green/mustard tint to them. Or they're $60+, which is too much for one-time-use. Do I go for a gold or yellow sparkle skirt (SIL has the goneforarun one)? Gold Dottie (if I can find one in my size) or something else?

Since DH is doing an ear hat, should I do this one (that is definitely a different tone than the shirt)


or an all-gold headband like this?

I think I'd go for the sparkle shirt since sequins will be a more forgiving color match. And if you can secure the hat well, I think it'll be more comfortable than the ears. If you prefer the ear look, ime the Disney ones are heavy. There are lighter etsy and DIY styles with more comfortable headbands.
