Just to be safe, I called back and added a CC number. Very nice lady added it in. She said that my confirmation number would stay exactly the same though, did anybody else not get a new number after adding their CC?

Whew, I was able to get through to the automated fairly quickly during my lunch break. Teaching while worried about BOG was stressful! I know I need to add my CC, but I can sit on the phone for six hours if I need to once school is over! SO EXCITED!

After 2 and 1/2 hrs, I finally got through and made a reservation with the automated option. Then I came on here and saw the issue with the reservation being cancelled if no cc# attached. I was sooo annoyed! Took another 30 minutes to get through and finally got a CM. I asked if it was true and she said yes. As soon as I got to give her my conf. #, she broke up so much I could not hear a word she said. Then got disconnected. UGH!!!
Another 15 mins of trying to get through, and have been on hold now for 20 mins so far.
This is nuts and I'm really getting angry with myself. I have things to do which are a priority but I'm worried if I wait until tonight, I may not get the reservation fixed. This just stinks. Very disappointed in Disney. This is beyond unreasonable.

I wasn't able to get through on my cell (yes I was trying on two phones lol) but I was able to get through with my land line. I know some may not have that option but if you do it may help. Good Luck

I just finished up my second call to add my credit card number. In my case the CM said she could not modify the existing reservation to add the card, but had to make a new one. She changed my 6:30 res to a 6:15 since 6:30 was all booked. Then cancelled the 6:30 and modified the 6:15 to become 6:30 once it had the cc# attached. So she pretty much reverted me back my original reservation. I asked her if Disney would really cancel the reservations that didn't have the numbers and she said it is an automatic process. I told her I would have been REALLY upset if that happened to me. I am sure they are figuring out what to do. I don't think they would just let it lapse.

Funny part was I had my cell phone on my desk with the hold music and my boss came in to meet with me...wouldn't you know the CM answered while he was in my office so I had to boot him! The CM was laughing at me as I had to shoe him out - It is Disney afterall! Luckily I have a great boss.

Fingers crossed that this is the last Disney decision I have to make until I decide what to pack for Christmas!!

I used the automated system. It ididn't ask for a CC#. But I got confirmation numbers. Made ressies for party of 6 on Dec 28 5:35 p and December 29 party of 3 for 6:50p. I hope I really got these ressies! I"m a little concerned now. How do I know if they needed a cc?

Just got off the phone adding our CC. Took just under an hour. You def need to add it to the ressie otherwise at midnight tonight it will possibly be deleted I was told by the CM.

Just to be safe, I called back and added a CC number. Very nice lady added it in. She said that my confirmation number would stay exactly the same though, did anybody else not get a new number after adding their CC?

Yes, I got a new number. I was transferred to someone 'higher up' than the CM that answered my call, those were her words. Anyway, she told me it generates a new confirmation number.

Just added our credit card to the ADR. Took a total of 57 minutes... But its fixed. They did give me a new confirmation number.

that was about my experience....45 for the first wait and about 15 to have the supervisor correct it. Whatta bunch of hogwash!

Made reservations this morning (after 2 hours on hold) via the automated system. Called back half an hour ago, and just spoke to a nice lady. I'm now on hold for her to get in contact with another CM to get the CC run through. She said there is an Email that is going to go out from Disney warning people.

She was like I'm so glad they got the Email out already.

I was like, "What Email? I read about this online!"

Edit: apparently 12/13 table for 2 is solid booked (she tried to rebook me first).
