The unofficial waiting to make Be Our Guest ADRs thread-8/20 7am

The menu looks interesting. There are definetely some things I would like to try for dinner.

Just a tip- Disney will not accept any calls unless it is 7am on the dot so everyone who is trying to get an ADR should be on the phone at 6:59 and if you can't get thru, hang up and keep trying until someone picks up. It wouldn't surprise me if by 7:15, all tables are gone. My fear is hearing a busy signal over and over and that by the time I actually get thru, all tables will be gone.

Also, allears still has incorrect information posted showing that ADR's will become available at Noon. I suspect this will change soon.

I thought I read somewhere that BOG seats 500 people, so it would take a ridiculous number of phone calls to sell out everything in the first 15 minutes.

Is there a countdown until Monday? I can't wait. I have two specific dates, and I am hoping I get one or the other. I would have to hate to upgrade to park hoppers just to eat dinner!! But I will if I have to!!

That's my last resort - ditch my O'Hana ressie and add park hopping if the only time I can get is the 25th....

I haven't been able to find out, so I am hoping someone in here knows.

Will Be Our Guest be open for MVMCP? The night I want to go, MK closes at 7pm and we wanted to do dinner later..

I haven't seen any official announcements.

Pre December 6th...it's hard to guess. Your best bet will be to call on Monday and try to make an ADR.

AFTER December 6th (the official opening), I'd say it's a pretty sure bet. All the other restaurants are open in MK..I'd be shocked if BOG was an exception.

I would imagine so. Hm. I'm wondering if ressies DURING the party will be easier to get and might cause some of the parties to sell out?

<---- scurries off to buy her party ticket now......

OK - here's a question - when I tried to make my Candlelight dinner ressie on the phone, I connected right at 7AM and then had to go thru a ton of prompts asking me to key in stuff. Is there any way to get RIGHT into the queue for a CM? I'll be on my cell phone on Monday morning and it's very difficult to call places where I have to key anything in. It will usually cause the call to be disconnected .

Your party *WILL* need to have tickets for MVMCP in order to dine there with a ressie at 7PM or later, however.

I've been thinking the EXACT same thing. I even found myself doing the calculations yesterday. The dining rooms combined seating is around 550 people (552 to be exact- I think). While I'm not sure what the hours will be...let's say that the place has dinner seatings from 3:30p - 9:30p on most nights, and tables turn in about an hour like the avg character meals and non-sig spots...that's around 3,300 people who can have dinner there each day. Yes, I know I'm totally speculating about hours, but the place can hold a TON of people which should help substantially.

I really think the jamming of the phone lines is going to be the biggest obstacle, but you never know. Nervous. :guilty:

On a positive note...I'm off today to work on a bday cake and couldn't adjust my vacay time...my supervisor is also out...but one of our other supervisors adjusted my schedule for Monday just so I can be late in. :dance3: Now to come up with some good lies for why mommy is on the phone while the kiddos are getting ready for school (trip is a surprise). :rolleyes1

I have the same question. Is it better to ask for an operator right away or enter the voice automated dining system?

I just called and checked and it's all verbal prompts, so that will work for me. Hey, it was 4 AM when I made my Candlelight ressie.... my memory is a little fuzzy. LOL

Just be careful with that. Last year I booked CP for 6:50 p.m. during a MNSSHP night. About 2-3 weeks before our trip, we were called and told they were closing the restaurant early for the party. It didn't matter if we had tickets or not. It was disappointing, but I'm sure not nearly as disappointing as losing a BOG adr would be. I wouldn't trust the CM who takes your adr knowing that Disney can call you months later and cancel it on you.

Wow! That's awful and would REALLY make me mad if that happened. Every year we make 6:45pm reservations on party nights and haven't had a problem ... I had no idea they could choose to just close a restaurant before the park closed because of the party.

That would SERIOUSLY suck!

Thank you for the heads up! This is my first time at WDW during Christmas time (Dec 10-15), but have already made my ADRs for every night except the 13th.

We are already eating at Bistro and Le Cellier - it will be a French Food trip, for sure.

Good luck, everyone!

That is a bit dire... how would that even be possible? Maybe all tables for a certain day, group size etc but not ALL THE TABLES EVER will be gone in 15 minutes. :lmao:

CRT and Le Cellier sell out very quickly. Yes, BoG will have many more tables than CRT, but it is brand new and everyone is waiting to make this ADR. For everyone's sake, I hope I am wrong.

I believe it seats 550 but I think only 2 of the 3 rooms will be for dinner therefore, it is not actually 550 people that can be accomodated for dinner. If you take away one room, you have a lot less tables...not to mention there are many dates that are completely booked in every restaurant at MK for this December. 12/4 and some other nights are completely out of availability at the normal dinner times as of last night so I'm worried that since this is the only place that will have open tables, everyone will be jumping at the chance to get one. Let alone the fact that it is new and has been highly publicized. One last thing...we still don't know the restaurant operating hours as it is but this is opening during the "preview period". That means we don't know if it will be open all day or if they will limit booking to only a few hours lessening the amount of tables they can make available. Hoping for the best...;)

Is this a credit card hold?
I have seen it both ways on this thread and now I cannot remember.
Thanks.

Anyone care go guess how many pages this thread will be by the end of the day Monday???????
