Adding my CC was very simple as well. They told me there will be a penny charge. Kept the same res #. Hope its fine.

There were 2 ways to get it fixed (both should work), according to the Guest Services Supervisor I talked to.

Guest Services/Disney Dining Supervisors could add the CC#. That process, while not technically a cancel and rebook (because you couldn't lose your existing ADR time and date), works similarly and generates a new confirmation number. That's the "official" solution.

CM's COULD push through a minimal charge on your CC, and link it to your ADR. This has the same effect of attaching the credit card, but generates a .01 charge to your CC. In that scenario, you don't lose your original Confirmation number. This is considered a work around (not the official solution) and some CM's might not be able to do it, or don't know how.

BOTH ways work, he said!

If you talk to a CM who can't help you, or doesn't realize you need help, ask them to put you through to a Guest Services Supervisor/Rep. They can fix the problem, and they all seem to know what's going on.

The CM I was talking to was able to push through a minimum charge on my card to attach it. She could not get it to work the other way she said because of updates it was making things more complicated. I called back to double check after she did the charge to make sure my card had secured my reservations and it had so WHEW

I read a review that indicated one of the three dining rooms does have cinderella's castle views. I know the ballroom does not (has a faux exterior mural). I think it may be the "west wing".

If it was EVER in the system, Guest Services should be able to verify it, via that confirmation number, and might be able to help. They should also be able to tell you why it was purged, how, and (generally) "who" did it.

If the system just generated a phantom number and didn't actually WRITE anything (location, date, time) to it....that's another issue. They still might be able to help..and might be willing just by virtue of the "phantom number"..but that might take more convincing.

Our trip isn't till January so maybe there will be plenty of time for people to post tips about seeing fireworks, if it's even possible.

I just remember at CRT one time with my son and hubby we were able to eat while they were going off and even though the glass was stained, it was really cool to be there during that. Would love to do that again!

I am exhausted

I got my ADR for 12-12 at 725 but i wanted 12-11 cause of MVMCP but i am just exhausted thank god for DVC Member Services

Called DVC MS after 3 hours of sleep to add cc#. Wrote CM I spoke with and time I called. Conf# stays the same.

Will be a zombie at work today. This restaurant better be worth it come December.
