The unofficial waiting to make Be Our Guest ADRs thread-8/20 7am

Ouch, at POR congierge at the moment. They've checked Feb 2013 for me, only TWO tables showing for whole of Feb!!! (up to 18 Feb as last date coming up, all showing as FULLY BOOKED though). I got 16 feb at 6:05pm, which is an hour or so after we are due to arrive ar POR. Never going to make it. :-(

Does anyone know if you need to be a DVC member to call their line because I'm not and I'm really getting tired of this. Yes I'm becoming that desperate.
 
Of course, the burning question is, "And what will HAPPEN to those reservations?". Ugh.

She didn't know what "they" (the powers that be in IT and the operational managers) were going to do, only that "they" were aware of the problem.

She said they'd (the front line dining folks and DVC CM's) probably get more info as the day went on.

Yes.

They'll usually ask for your member number first thing.
 
It took us over 2 hours, constantly redialing but we did get January 3 at 5 (within an hour of the time we wanted so keep on trying and good luck everyone.
 
Just wanted to let everyone know I waited in queue after making my automated reservation (an hour 20:scared1:) and there was nothing open on Dec 4 (the date I really wanted) and she was able to get something on Nov 23 but there wasn't very many left.

Good luck everyone. Now to worry about my cc ...:eek:
 
Ok got mine for January 10 @4:55pm.. Just what I wanted.. I didn't have to put a CC guarantee either but I did put all my other info in as well so maybe that is why. I already have one on file or just through my reservation :confused3 Its showing up under my reservations so I will print it and keep it just in case.. Good Luck everyone on getting what you want.. I tried 2 times to get through and did on the second time :goodvibes

Honestly,I have had this happen in the past.I've made automatied ressies that should have required a CC# but did not ask for it, and I was fine. My or my client's ressie was waiting there.

I didn't want to chance it with boG especially because of the sheer volume, so I did call and I was able to get the CM to apply the CC#'s to all of the reservations I made. Fortunately I had left one phone on hold while I did the automated ones on another phone.

The owner of my agency called and was told that Dining help had to do it.
 
I booked mine using Disney Dining however we are DVC and she used that resort check in to make our dining reservation... however it is not showing up online?? Any thoughts??? When making the ressie she asked where we were staying and ck in day and it went from there... I really would like to see it online !
 
I followed another DISer's advice and called the diabilities line. Ask to be transferred and you will get a LIVE person, not an automated system. This way, you'll be able to add your cc without having to wait again. Did not secure my first choice on 12/13, but got it for 12/15, so that's not bad. I just gave up another ADR at Boatwright's! No biggie!!!

My situation is exactly like yours...I thought since I had other reservations, maybe they had my cc# already. When I talked to an agent, though, they didn't have it, and she took cc# and it produced a new adr#. I wouldn't assume. I'd hate for you to loose your well deserved reservation. My original reservation also showed up on-line. Then was replaced by the one with the CC# later.
 
I used the automated system and both of my BOG ADR's are showing up on my reservations page on the WDW site! Still I am holding to add cc#! 26 min so far

I've seen some tweets and posts that the IVR ones without CC hold will be cancelled but nothing official. I didn't want to chance the IVR for my clients on something this big of a deal. I called got thru first try right at 7am and got everything I needed for a couple clients. 1st pick on times and dates for each family. Evidentally I was one of the first through. I was off the phone by 710ish and that included a 2 min delay for my PC to find the address of one client.

I'm still seeing reports elswhere of people getting a few dates here and there so I wouldn't give up all hope yet. I just wish I were booking for myself, we will miss the preview and opening. But on a positive note I will be at WDW in a 16 days!
 
I finally got through and got my 3rd choice (11/26 at 7:30pm), seems like the 5pm to 7pm time was sold out most of the week. I used the automated system and am now on hold to give them my CC number.
 
on the phone with an agent. She put me on hold to add the cc. Says we have "about 24 hours" to add the cc#, so calling back later today should work. She says when she comes back on the line, I will have a new reservation number. I also had her check the other 2 dates I'm in MK or able to get to MK for dinner and both Nov 27 and Nov 28 have ZERO availability. Dinner starts at 4PM.

Ok hour wait to modify my reservations made via the IVR... I was told that they will be canceled if I do not have a CC#, but that she may not be able to modify my reservations, but would try... Her recommendation is to book a new one... Sigh..... Going to try to modify but she says she has to put me on hold...
