Perfect!:thumbsup2

ugh, no-see-um crawling on my laptop, window screens are not quite tight enough to keep all of them out..naughty cat claws leaving holes behind doesn't help.:headache:

:lmao:

I need a bug man in the worst possible way. Now that DN is gone we are working to clean up and put things in places they use to occupy. Then we get a bug guy. We have all kinds of creepy crawlies....:scared1:

Megan, I'm sorry you have to go through this. Your words to your Mom were the best she could hear right now. I think maybe you should either call or send your sis a card, and just let her know, that she is in your thoughts. At least that awy she knows you haven't forgotten about her, and her struggles right now.

I hope you get some sleep soon!!
Thats a really good idea! I am totally going to do that. Thank you!
 I am sorry Megan! If you are up for a major roadtrip I will watch them all so you can sleep!
Sheesh... Seriously, the way things are going, I just might!

Wishing you long sleep tonight , maybe on the weekend? :cloud9:
It was much better last night. I only had to get up with them a few times. Jazzy once, and Vinny two or three times. Frelan wants to stay on his schedule this weekend and keep the babies in the other room so I can sleep. I vetoed that idea, it will only mess them up more!

hmm, it might if he gets up every time they make a little noise.

But if he keeps them out, hesitates awhile to see if they can settle themselves down -- nail biting I know! -- it might work and start the process for them to learn to self soothe at night.

I found that if my boys slept in my room, they wouldn't sleep through and I was there "crutch" to settle again... moved the crib out.
I know space wise, that might not be an option.

Keep a journal, nap/eat/bedtimes.. might help you figure out what is waking them: too hot? too cold? wet diaper? Too long of nap in the evening throwing off the night time sleep? Growth spurt, maybe a few more ounces or solids? ( Can't remember what ages the big growth spurts happen)

Or you could just have restless sleepers, which totally sucks!! N to this day still gets up at night, too much like his dad. :headache:

Right now we are thinking that they are teething. They were sleeping really well, pretty much through the night. Now?? UGH. It was way better last night.. Thank goodness.

Thats how I get them to sleep! We pat their backs, Vinny generally goes right back to sleep when i do that. :lovestruc He so lovely!

Thanks for the support there!!! I will be sure to blame you when John asks about it!!!

It was funny though, I told him last night that I didn't think I could hold off much longer - I was getting bored and saw some great deals on email. I guess he spent the morning checking email to see what I had bought!!!:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Watching Toddlers and Tiaras (yes I'm bored), psycho pageant mommies -- yesh!

(above mean nothing, or maybe it does?? Poly had to add her own comments I guess? Passing thru to do the kitty groove thing on my blanket.... of course walking AROUND the laptop would be too much work.)

Sounds exciting???

Sure!
Watch 4 year olds throw Diva fits and moms yelling at girls for ripping a dress.. let the suspense mount. :hyper:

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Just waiting for the hubby to arrive back to his kingdom.

Yeah - I guess that is why I opted for online shopping. Took a 2 hour movie break with the kiddos....but now they are passed out asleep and I have at least an hour to kill. Luckily I can't find anything I like at Kohl's :rotfl2:

So when does hubby come back???

30 minutes to land, wait around for his luggage (machine), find a cab and 20 minute drive home.. hmm, I guess in an hour or two.

Very nice!!! Sounds like from your posts before that it was a good trip for him!

Too many noises!!! I am not used to being home alone (granted the kids are here, but they are asleep) I want my DH home!!!

Bernice - where are you when i need you!!!

Bernice????????? Come out of hiding!!!!!!

I'm hiding from the tornado but it's gone to bug another city now.

Typical end of a muggy hot day in MN... thunderstorms that gradually build into massive systems with funnel clouds spotted.
Heard the sirens wailing in our city and where my sis lives (just a mile away), crud.. turn on the news and let's see... meterogolist who is a seasoned storm tracker is saying " this is the worst storm I have ever watched" .. crap.... trot our bodies down to the foyer and wait under the stairwell, of course hubby is outside watching the storm along with a few of our neighbors.

Storm left a good soaking and high winds.. and left to bother some other poor souls. I like living near the city, we typically get passed over for the really bad stuff.. poor people in the far suburbs and rural areas-- eeek! Not so good.

Hello Everyone,

Quick post- I went to the Arclight yesterday with a friend (you can see the website: www.arclightcinemas.com), which is a cool theatre with comfy seats (assigned seating apparently).

They have good food at their concession stand, including caramel popcorn. We watched Julie & Julia. The movie was great and I really enjoyed it. It was really funny and you guys should watch it. :) As we were leaving, this guy appears to be in a hurry, probably trying to rush to get to his movie and he looks so dang familiar. I just don't think about it and then my friend says: "Did you notice Matthew Perry just walked passed you?" Me: WHAT???? THAT WAS MATTHEW PERRY??? OMG!! I SAW CHANDLER!!!!"

I was all ecstatic and happy that I saw a celeb.
