I love good deals...
Today I did 3 rounds of buying General Mills and Unilever products of $30 each, got back $15 on your next order "cats" (the machine that prints the coupon is made by a company called Catalina.. couponers create their own language, thus its a "$15 oyno cat wyb $30" deal)
Paid $20- $25 for each round, then used my pile of "cats" to buy regular groceries (using coupons) -- saved 87% on my total bill.
Tons of cereal, I never pay more than 50 cents a box for name brand cereal.
Pasta sauce, ice cream, detergent, Peanut Butter, margarine, yogurt. A few "box foods" to fill out an order (Hamburger Helper- yeck, rice mixes, Lipton onion mix, brownie mix -- easy for the boys to make) where the store paid me to take it out of the store.
I had to stop myself after 3 rounds
If I had planned ahead I could have picked up a bunch of the cheaper items and got it free after all the coupons... donate to food shelf. hmm, that reminds me.. I got a pile of stuff already to donate, food shelves hurt this time of year.
