My little sister will be joining me and my bf on our trip to DL this week. There is a promo for So-Cal Residents: 3-Day Park Hopper for $99. The 2fer promo ended some time earlier this month. The only bummer is that you have a 45 day window to use up all 3 visits. Still, it's a pretty cool offer.

That is an awesome offer! DL must be hurting to roll out another promo for summer use. Good deal for those who have the lowest cost So Cal APs (blocked out all summer) and want to visit for a few days, cheaper than block out passes.

I got a pin in my email for 35% off for DL hotels.... it says "plan a spring visit" but the dates are now through September. I guess Disney doesn't know the seasons. I need to change my address in the system when I have the cash to do a WDW trip. I've been sent WDW pins in the past as a MN resident, Mississippi River is the cutting line between advertisng one park over the other.

Funny thought.. the river runs right thru the middle of the metro, does that mean people in St Paul get DL commercials, while Minneapolis gets WDW ones?

Well kids... its official. no Disneyland. We are going to WDW!!! Im Excited!! I do foresee some fighting with my mom about the hotel though. She thinks she knows best... but she has never been with us. So we shall see. I am NOT staying off site.

She is wanting my sis to go. But my sis is still in a really bad place financially.. Behind on all her bills, and really struggling. I dont see HOW my mom think she is going to be able to save for this trip. Then she drops the BOMB. She was all... Im not just taking her kids.. I wont be responsible for them.. Blah, blah, blah.. Okay. no big deal. I dont think anyone expects you to take them. Then she said it.. Im thinking that she was trying to get me to say it first.. YOU could take care of them. Are you F&$#@&$ CRAZY????? Ummmm.. last count I have four kids already. WHY would I want to take on two more when I am on vacation??? Her kids would be 14 and 18.. My mom seems to think they would help with my kids. NOT. They arent around little kids. EVER. They dont know HOW to help. A 14yo?? Oy. NO. I have tried to let her help with Alex and Mikalah... lets just say it did NOT go well. NO WAY. NOT GONNA HAPPEN.

....bit of a rough day at work today. I feel really bad for my co-workers. One of them has an abusive ex who is the father of her DD (I believe she's 16 now). I guess when my co-worker was still with her ex, he was verbally and physically abusive towards her and her DD.

This afternoon she gets a call on her cell phone and goes out to the lobby to talk on her phone. She comes back in and is crying and shaking. I handed her some tissues. I heard that her ex called and made threats that he was going to punch her DD in the nose or in the face. Apparently he's a tall guy and is just vicious and nasty. I think her sister picked her up and she left quickly. I hope she's okay and I hope no harm comes to her or her DD.

Another co-worker of mine was fine and then all of a sudden she is doubled over and says her stomach hurts terribly. Someone gave her pepto bismal but she started feeling dizzy and couldn't stand. A co-worker offered to take her to a hospital that is close to her mom's house.

I guess she is feeling better because she called and said she's on the way back here. I hope she's okay. She suffers from lupis and can't just see any doctor (from what she's told me).

I pray that everyone is okay and that God protects my co-worker and her family from that abusive ex and that my co-worker feels better.

Glad to hear they both seem to be doing better. That sounded scary for both of those ladies.

That's so awesome you're going to WDW. Dh and I are skipping our annual DL tirp this year because we're saving up for WDW/honeymoon. I don't think we'll actually honeymoon in WDW but I do want to try to make it part of our honeymoon. Dh wants to see the space whatevers they have in Florida so I'm sure I can convince him. He wants to do a cruise for our honeymoon but I'm not sure if that's a good idea or not.

I have this circle of pimples on my forehead that wont' go away. They've been there for about six months. They'll go flat and I think they're about to go away and then one of them swells up and they all get big again. I've tried everything short of going to the doctor but I dont' know what he can do for me.

Tonight I'm babysitting but lucky me the baby will be sleeping the whole time I'm there, or so I hope. Yesterday I went for lunch and was holding the baby and it pooped while on my lap. That's the grossest feeling ever but at least she was wearing a diaper so the poo didn't get on me, but it was still ew. Soo not wanting kids any time soon.

You could try Neutrogena Rapid Clear Gel. That's what I use if I have a pimple and it helps it to go away quickly. It's supposed to reduce the size within 8 hrs I believe. There is also Neutrogena On The Spot Cream that may help. I hope you find something.

I don't want kids any time soon either! My co-workers said that's very smart of me and they are happy that I know what I want.

I got tired of Internet Explorer and switched to Firefox.. sooooooooooo much better. The update to IE8 made our internet agonizingly slow or it would get hung up, failing to load at all.

It's going to rain off and on today, two days of very hot and humid have built up a line of thunderstorms. Grey, overcast skies and a few sprinkles so far. Less humidity and hot, finally have the window open again. Ah much better. I don't want to know what our electric bill will be next month, two days non stop AC.

And i agree with you...........no taking on your sissies kids!! Yikes.......you have enough to deal with on your own as it is. Too bad, they aren't the kind to be helpful though. That would have been a bonus.

I wonder if in the time period you are going, that free dining will be available? Or some other benefit!! Keep your eyes out, and if you haven't already, sign up for the Disney Destination emails. They will send you the latest on the specials going on.

Have fun planning! It is quite alot of work, as you will find out. Of course when we went, it was right up to Christmas Day, so I was trying to plan the best park for crowds, what parks were open late or what were open early, and the whole crazy spiel!

Hey Bernice. You do know that using IE and Firefox allows you to print double coupons. I discovered it accidentally, Eversave wouldn't print on my computer with IE, so it said to try Firefox. But then I discovered that if you reached a print limit on some of the coupon sites, you could just use a different browser and it would print more coupons.

UGh... What is WRONG with my babies??? They are mental! Suddenly they have decided to stop sleeping through the night. WHY??? I am good to them. I cuddle them, and love on them and feed them and bathe them. I make sure that their older sister doesnt smush them with her love.. The LEAST they could do for me is continue sleeping through the night like good little babies. The most is start walking and walk their little tushys over to the potty and leave their poo there. Instead if in their diapers.

Good Morning. I am currently avoiding Morgan's costume I need to have done by Saturday. We are heading to Vegas for dance nationals all next week. She has a beautiful new lyrical solo to The Climb by Miley Cyrus and should have a gorgeous costume if I'll get my butt over to the table and make it. I'm avoiding like crazy for some reason. I guess because I dont have a pattern. Its completely freehand.
