Shhh! don't tell them my secret. Half turkey burger!:lmao:

:lmao: I like it!

I have to tell sis that tip, her husband has been crying about "chicken every night" and now he won't eat anything she makes with ground turkey. He's just a big baby! Pickier than his own children. :sad2:

Gotta go ladies. Can't keep up with the hamburger. TTYL!

I'm off too.

Need to chek my parent's progress from Duluth (we drive it in less than 3hours) we're thinking it will be 5 hours by the time they get here.

Hello Hyenas,

Yesterday my little sister and I went to the Disney Outlet. I found 2 more shirts that were $9.99/EA. Here's a pic:

IMG00015-20090619-2247.jpg

I also went to Game Stop and traded some Wii games for store credit. I only used it for 1 game for the Wii: Disney's Thing Fast. It's a lot of fun to play :goodvibes

This morning I went to the dentist and she pulled out my tooth.:eek: It hurt like the dickens!! :headache::sad1: I put gauze in my mouth to help stop the bleeding and picking up some antibiotics from CVS Pharmacy and then took some advil. It doesn't hurt as bad at the moment but she gave me 4 shots of novocaine. :sad2:

I went home and slept some more since I woke up really early. Then my bf and I went to the mall. We passed the Apple store and there was a long line of people waiting outside the store to go in (to get the new iPhone of course). It was crazy packed inside too. We went to GAP and I returned an item and my bf bought some pants on sale. Then we drove around for a bit and we decided to eat at BJ's. I had the balsamic grilled chicken and he ordered a sandwich. The food wasn't bad and the menu had lots to choose from. :thumbsup2 Headed back home and we played Disney's Think Fast on the Wii. It's not all Disney questions and it also asks you how knowledgable you are about Disney: A little, some, a lot. :)

Now I'm playing on my PC and my bf is playing Left 4 Dead.

Hey I just wanted to wish everyone a happy fathers day and everyone who has spouses as well have a good day

Sooooo... my mom called yesterday. She is going on a cruise next May, and was talking about going to WDW after. Okay. No big, right?? Until she asks if we want to go too. I went between...:banana: and :scared1::scared1::scared1::scared::scared: SHe has a friend that I guess goes and stays offsite in rinky dink hotels that are really cheap, and my mom thinks that is what we should do... Have you SEEN some of them?? Can you imagine taking a shuttle with TWO one year olds to some crappy far away hotel?? I was trying to explain this to her, but she wasnt getting it. She just told me to look up some stuff. So I got off the phone, ran some prices and talke to the hubby.

We figured that we will put DL on the back burner... and go to WDW instead. We WILL stay onsite, either in one of the family suites at the ASMu, or in the... um.. other one. Its a mod that sleeps six. I call her back and ask if she checked into shades of green, and she said that it was too spendy.. Okay. No big. I told her that we are willing to pay for our package... room, tickets, food, souvies.... all that, if she can help with airfare. That way we dont have to stay far away and deal with all that.. AND be stuck doing whatever she wants because SHE is paying for everything. You know??

So after all this, I get all freaked out and its puts me in a weird mood because I KNOW if she convinces my sister to go, I will have to plan the whole trip! I cant do that!! HELLO!! I have TWO BABIES now! Geez!! I dont know what is wrong with me. We have always wanted to go to WDW, but not with two babies. I know we can do it, But I had a plan, and I dont like things to mess with my plans. :lmao:

Uhhummm....I do believe that you have a Hyena friend that is familiar with WDW and would love to help you plan a trip.:rolleyes1:woohoo::dance3::woohoo:

:lmao:I am starting to get excited about the fact that we might ACTUALLY be going to WDW. It just threw me for a loop... we all know how much I hate that. :lmao:

Between Alison and Shawna.. I'm sure you will be just fine planning out a WDW trip. :goodvibes

I would ask her to look at shades of green pricing again. It might very well be cheaper than she might realize. Being on the DIS.. you can do a ton of sleuthing on the best way to land the better deals for any of the properties. :thumbsup2

argh, I see there have been changes on the board again.. my smilie list has been expanded out in size.. but my screen isn't big enough to see all 4 rows across, no slider either. Hey DIS stop wrecking what works! :headache:

Wow! That's awesome Staley!! I hope that all the plans work out and that you don't end up being the only one planning everything. I'm sure you will all have an awesome time. :goodvibes

Oh MAN!! So many things to do at WDW. So many places to eat... and DRINK!:cool1::cool1: Frelan wants my mom to come to Epcot with us.. So we have sober eyes to watch the kids for us.:rotfl2::rotfl2: So.. in two days I think I have planned a trip that we arent going to be taking for about a year. IF we go at all. :rotfl2::rotfl2: I know where we want to eat, what extra stuff we want to do.. What sitter service to use for a parents night out..:rolleyes1 My brain is going a million places at once.

Too bad we are so limited in where we can stay.. It looks like we can do the All star music in the family suites, or Port Orleans Riverside. As far the ASMu... we have NO desire to stay there. The All Star Movies would be okay.. Plus it is more expensive then POR We are REALLY leaning towards POR. They also have a kids Pirate cruise thing that leaves from that hotel. How much would the bigger kids love that?? A BUNCH!! Thats how much!

Alison!! Tell me about Blizzard Beach. Is that the best for little kids?? Alex and Mikalah are both great swimmers, but I have doubts that Mikalah would actually go down a water slide. So she would probably be with me int he preschool/ baby area.. Leaving Alex and Frelan to go down the big slides.

Less than 3 days until my vacation! :yay: :yay: :yay: I'm also super happy that my bf is on vacation this week. :)

ok, here are my suggestions....

You and the kids would both LOVE Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. They are both very much set up like DL....there are rides/slides for every age group. So nobody is going to feel left out.

Personally, I think you should go to both. But if I could only go to one, I would choose Typhoon Lagoon. Both of them have nice children's areas, but TL is more lush, relaxing. BB feels more "concretey" to me. Either one that you go to, I promise you will have an awesome time and there will be plenty to do for all ages. There are water slides of every size imaginable. They both have family raft type rides that aren't to scary, you can all go on together.

Another thing I have to ask...are you set on staying on-site? Because with your family size they are lots of alternatives that would cost way less and honestly be much nicer. There are lots of 2 bedroom suite hotels with kitchens and laundry that could make your life much easier. There are also tons of rental homes, many set up with Disney themed rooms for the kids...some sleep 10-12, so maybe your entire party could stay together for a reasonable price.

If you do stay at one of the Value's, don't discount the All Star Music. The theming is very nice and IMO it is actually nicer than the other two All Star's. My last two trips I have stayed there and it was nice and quiet, new carpet, new bedspreads, wallpaper, etc....not nearly as worn as the other's.

I do like the POR and we have stayed with 5 of us in the Alligator Bayou section. The one nice thing is you can ride a ferry shuttle to DTD from there. But even though it has a pull out trundle bed, I will warn you, it will be cramped with 6 of you in there. There are 2 full size beds, trundle pulls out from one near the door. There is a curtained sink/changing area and a small fridge, so that helps some.

But honestly, you can get way more bang for your buck staying offsite. Not to mention save a ton of money on food if you have a small kitchen. Laundry room is not so important because even the value's have laundry rooms located at a pool area. I usually go down and watch the kids swim in the evening and do a couple loads of laundry.

I  my air conditioner today!

It's 99 degrees and 45% humidity right now :faint:

Worked with my DN and hung out with sis for a few hours, wilting in the house as she had not yet put in the window AC for the summer. I gave her my sad eyed look and she took pity on me, brought us all back home.. ahhhhhhhhhh, so much better!

My parents made way to Ohio for their church event, had a few issues going thru security.. ice pack for insulin had to hand checked, my dad had suspenders on that set off the alarm and he can't walk without his shoes (he wears special made diabetic/orthotic shoes). Apparently my mom didn't include the need for assistance on the reservation, when it came time to make a connection the airline had to hold the next plane and provide a wheelchair ride (gate was up one floor and down a long hallway.. they would have missed the connection). My sis and I puzzle over this, they have done this trip a couple of times now. Yet it's always this big hurry, scurry and worry thing.

Ah well, meanwhile sis has added another child to her mess for the week. Our oldest brother's youngest son is staying while his family is at Boy Scout camp. He is a bit hard to handle, rude bossy bugger of a little boy. The 3 ring circus effect that is already in place at my sister's .. has now been intensified. Makes my head spin!

Counting down the days..... sigh..

....bit of a rough day at work today. I feel really bad for my co-workers. :( One of them has an abusive ex who is the father of her DD (I believe she's 16 now). I guess when my co-worker was still with her ex, he was verbally and physically abusive towards her and her DD.

This afternoon she gets a call on her cell phone and goes out to the lobby to talk on her phone. She comes back in and is crying and shaking. I handed her some tissues. I heard that her ex called and made threats that he was going to punch her DD in the nose or in the face. Apparently he's a tall guy and is just vicious and nasty. I think her sister picked her up and she left quickly. I hope she's okay and I hope no harm comes to her or her DD.

Another co-worker of mine was fine and then all of a sudden she is doubled over and says her stomach hurts terribly. Someone gave her pepto bismal but she started feeling dizzy and couldn't stand. A co-worker offered to take her to a hospital that is close to her mom's house.

I guess she is feeling better because she called and said she's on the way back here. :confused3 I hope she's okay. She suffers from lupis and can't just see any doctor (from what she's told me).

I pray that everyone is okay and that God protects my co-worker and her family from that abusive ex and that my co-worker feels better. :(

Perhaps she has irritable bowel syndrome. That happens to me sometimes...no warning, I just double over.

No, it turns out she had bad heartburn and she said that she took some pepto bismal. A co-worker drove her to the hospital but by the time they were almost there, she began to feel better. They drove back to the office and then someone drove her home.

She's feeling a lot better and came into the office today. She said she must have ate something bad and it caused her to have really bad stomach pain and her back hurt and she felt dizzy. I'm glad she's okay though.

The other co-worker (with the violent ex) seems okay today. She came into work today so I hope everything is good now.

Wow, I guess I did not miss a hyena party last night ;) Hope you guys are all having a good day :)

My little sister will be joining me and my bf on our trip to DL this week. There is a promo for So-Cal Residents: 3-Day Park Hopper for $99. The 2fer promo ended some time earlier this month. The only bummer is that you have a 45 day window to use up all 3 visits. Still, it's a pretty cool offer. :yay:

I need to renew my Premium AP while I'm there as well. I was able to change our reservation time for Blue Bayou to an earlier time. I called last week and they said they were almost booked up for that date but they received some cancellations. :yay: :yay:

I'm really excited and so ready for a vacation. Plus I'm really craving a dole whip float!! :rotfl: :lmao: I can just picture myself running through the DL entrance and screaming: "Outta my way!! I need a dole whip float!!" :teeth:
