I was out sick yesterday. I wasn't sick so much as lightheaded from the Advil PM I took to knock out the toothache and help me sleep. There was no way I could drive my car. Right before I drifted off again, I saw the Slap Chop commercial! Of course, I thought of you girls.

Did I miss a trip to Hawaii?

I hope everyone is having a nice day. Mine has been pretty good- just getting ready for my mini-trip to my college town to visit an old roommate. Other than that, everything is pretty boring here! DFiance is swamped with work= grumpy and I'm doing lots of wedding planning but not making too much headway- thankfully we are going WEDDING DRESS SHOPPING this weekend! I am so tootin' excited. Wish you girls were going!!

I hope everyone is having a nice day. Mine has been pretty good- just getting ready for my mini-trip to my college town to visit an old roommate. Other than that, everything is pretty boring here! DFiance is swamped with work= grumpy and I'm doing lots of wedding planning but not making too much headway- thankfully we are going WEDDING DRESS SHOPPING this weekend! I am so tootin' excited. The whole car thing was actually pretty funny. He had his car parked by the loading door, on the side of the building, which is a little on the narrow side and I had to go around him. I would have fit no problem, I have a small car. However, he decided to walk out of the door and into the path of my car because he wasn't paying attention. I was like 'What are you doing??' He looked pretty shocked.

I thought the Oscars were pretty good. Long but that's usually the case. Hugh Jackman was entertaining and I predicted everyone who was going to win. I'm glad Slumdog Millionaire won Best Picture. It so deserved it. Great movie but it'll make you never want to go to India! Some of the people there though...what were they thinking? Sophia Loren and Lisa Rinna looked downright scary.

I served veggies, pumpernickel bread, and tortilla chips with the fondue! It was yummy!!

Speaking of Slumdog Millionaire, here's Freida Pinto's dress. I'm not wild about it, but I think that she still looked great. She is so pretty. I hate her!! I've seen her wear some really gorgeous dresses to other events and I couldn't wait to see what she was going to wear to the Oscars. I was a little disappointed.

I actually liked Miley's dress! I think she looked gorgeous. I think my favorite dress was Sarah Jessica Parker's. Big surprise there, I absolutely love SATC. I also thought Jennifer Aniston looked way better than Angelina Jolie

Sorry I went MIA for a little bit. I had a customer and now I have to leave in 10 minutes.
