I'm going to have to go over to REI in the morning and get some new snow pants. Mine are all too small. My friends all laughed at my new snow coat. It's FLAMINGO PINK and I mean seriously pink. You couldn't lose me in a blizzard in it...

I'm in my purple feetie pajamas tonight trying to stay warm. I really want a slurpee though, so I may have to buck up and walk down the street to the AM/PM and get one. Yes, I know... it's 20 degrees outside and I want a slurpee... it's a snow day tradition. I can't explain it.

I hope I find a purple tree. Whatever it is, it's got to be small enough to fit on the bus.

I'm headed to my parents house for Christmas and New Year's. What are you planning on doing?

I'll take all three jobs. Especially the butt pincher! WOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!

I got all my hair chopped off today. It was shoulder length and now it's the Katie Holmes cut.....everyone loves it and thinks it looks great on me, though (but I'm like "hey, someone stole my hair.")

Congrats on the new 'do!! You're braver than I am. I've always had long hair (like mid-back length) and am too attached to it to cut it

You sound like me!! All of my winter clothes are ridiculously bright colors. A friend of mine rents a ski house in Colorado and is always like "Uhh.. do you still have your pink ski jacket?" and I say "of course".. "Well, I have a great new extra ski jacket, you should try it out! It's gorgeous... and white."

Why do they make white ski jackets? Wouldn't you blend in with the snow? Knowing my luck (and ski abilities, or lack thereof) I'd fall over, not be able to get up, all the while wearing my white ski jacket, and no one would be able to find me!

Honu and Rora- I think that the two of you should go on a skiing trip together someday. Be sure to wear your bright pink jackets so you won't get lost in the snow!! Seriously, I think that it's awesome that you guys wear bright-colored winter clothes. Don't let it bother you when your friends ridicule you for wearing them. We Unicorns should stand out in the crowd. You should have seen some of the things that I wore in college!!


Honu- Don't worry about riding the bus. Just say a little prayer for safety before you get on. While I was going to college in Los Angeles, I took the bus to and from school. Sometimes, it was really scary, but I survived. Walking around certain parts of downtown LA............now that's scary!!! I know that bus-riding can be a pain sometimes, but you'll be all right.

Too funny about you wanting a slurpee on a cold day. You are just like my mom. She loves to eat ice cream in cold weather. Since she's going low-carb now, she doesn't do it very often. Did you get your slurpee today?

For Christmas, my family and I are going to California. We leave next Thursday. I hope you have great time at your parents' house for Christmas!

I will gladly be the official list-maker, cool-idea guru, and ballet fan/ballet expert!! To begin, once you (who has just become the Official job giver) assigns jobs to the rest of our active Unicorns, I shall make a list of members and jobs.

For the record, I really was stuck. It just worked out nicely that I had to be rescued by a very good looking man!

Sassy and Rora, you guys are lucky to have hot-guy-coming-to-the-rescue stories. I can't think of any at the moment. Wow, how sad is my life? I gotta learn to snowboard or something!

You should definitley pick up a dangerous activity- skiing, snowboarding, surfing. Then you'll have plenty opportunities to be saved!

I would just like to vent for 2 seconds: Pacific Time is so annoying when you live in Eastern Time. Like really. I was up by 8am and wanted to call DFiance.. well it was 5am there. Really throwing me off schedule.
Anyone wanna come visit me in FL? There's tons of room at my house!

My hair is short now. I LOVE it! I wouldn't go back to having long hair for anything. It's also got some red in it, but that's fading out. I may go back to purple. I really liked my purple hair... Yes, I'm weird.

I survived the bus ride, thank goodness! I wore my flamingo pink ski jacket, with my polar fleece jester hat that is teal, pink, and purple, with my balaclava. No one sat next to me. I wonder why?

I have no idea why they make white snow clothes. It seems counterproductive to me. But all my friends know I buy everything in pink or Purple. If it's not one of those colors, forget it! I'm not wearing it.

They make loud colors for those of us not afraid to make a statement. Not sure what kind of statement I'm making. I love my pink coatI'll never get lost in a blizzard, that's for sure!

Well, I've had hot paramedics work on me at a hockey tournament when I got hit with a puck.
