Yay, Rora's back!!

I'm glad you had a great time at WDW. That's awesome that you were able to get a discount for Chef Mickey's. Lucky you!

I'm glad you guys had a great time at the MVMCP. I want hot chocolate and cookies now. I'll keep your plan of action in mind when my family and I go to an MVMCP next year (hopefully).

That's great that you guys had a good time at Chef Mickey's. I've never been there, but I've seen pictures of the inside of the restaurant. It looks like a fun place! What did you guys eat while you were there?

You're lucky that you got to see the gingerbread house, too. When my family and I went to WDW last November, they were still in the process of constructing the house. It was really cool to watch, though! The GF lobby smelled like gingerbread cookies.

By the way, since Honugirl (where is she?) still hasn't showed up at her DIS Veteran party, we're celebrating the fact that you're going to have a Disney wedding.

You guys, I am so behind and I'm soooo sorry! I'm subb'd to too many threads and now I'm part of a 2010 trip so a group of us have been chatting on that and I just finished my Christmas shopping and that was ROUGH!

My Dad is doing well. He had to spend two nights in ICU due to his bp staying low. They put him on a med overnight to bring it up and then took away one of his BP meds. He has a follow up on Monday and another one on Thursday. Thank you al lso much for the well-wishes.

I wanna follow 'cuz an Escape wedding is something I want to do for a vowel renewal for our 10 year in Dec. 2011. We got married in the courthouse orginally so it would be awesome to renew in the 'World!

Glad you had fun on your quick trip. I sooo wish I lived in Florida. It's 16 degrees right now. I'm not like you though- I would've gone for the upgrade to the villarather than the $20 off!

I haven't done much today I'm afraid. It's bitterly cold out and I'm not wanting to go grocery shopping. Or balance checkbook. I did major damage while finishing up the Christmas shopping yesterday.

Oh Tigger.. I ate everything. And I normally don't eat everything. But I'm a breakfast girl.. Let's see: these wonderful cheesy hashbrown things, grits, Mickey head waffles, a cheese danish and scrambled eggs. If we had paid full price I would've ate more..

Ok, ladies! My DISaway.blogspot.com site is updated with a Unicorn Club Poll as to when ya'll would like to make chat days. First we'll narrow it down to days and after that, to the TIME of day. Actually, I haven't been to a MVMCP yet. I can't wait to go to one, though. My family and I are planning to go to one next December. Maybe we'll see you there!

Congrats on starting your own blog! I think regular Unicorn meetings are a great idea. We'll be all official 'n' stuff. It'll be just like the real Unicorns in the SVT books. Does this mean that we have to start paying dues? Just kidding. I'll drop by your blog later on tonight.

Hi everyone, thanks for the concern. I was at my parents house and when I'm down there I don't have very much internet time. I have to share the computer with the rest of the family and can't use it after 8 pm because the umbrella cockatoo goes to bed in the computer room. Sigh. Oh well. I was actually quite busy with another round of testing as well. Waiting for those results to come in so we can schedule surgery. I ended up at a lovely gingerbread party. I also went to a barn party. Took some kids bowling. Rode my horse. It was a busy time... now that I'm at my home, I'll be on a lot more for the next week or so.

I had a very good time, except now I'm going to have to take a week to recuperate! Holy crap I'm exhausted! I did some shopping. AHHHHHHHH! I have to get up in 4 hours to go to the doctor. Yuck.

Thanks Rora! Yup, I was one busy unicorn!!!!!!!! The gingerbread party was a blast. We decorated gingerbread houses. I learned a very valuable lesson, MAKE YOUR HOUSE THE NIGHT BEFORE YOU DECORATE IT!!!!!!!!!! Otherwise it looks like an earthquake hit it... I spent a lot of time with my horse and I've decided that we're going to go to a horse show next month just for fun. Woohoo! We're only going to do a couple of classes, but it should be a good time.

Thanks! Well, I honestly didn't know I was going to be gone that long either. When I got down there my cousin said she was having the gingerbread party the next Saturday so I decided to stick around for it. With my health the way it is and surgery coming up, family is everything right now, you know? It's all about the little things these days.

We can still celebrate the party, I jumped on the thread last night when I got home. We can keep the party going you know! I'm going to go look for hot guys and food.

After 10 pm tonight though I don't get to eat. I have to have an abdominal ultrasound tomorrow. I can't eat until 4 pm!!!!!!!!!!!!! Y'all are going to have to work overtime to keep me occupied so I won't think about food.

That's a good attitude to have . I think everyone should adpot that attitute-- people would be so much happier.

As far as the no eating until 4pm goes.. !!
I could never do that. I'd be such a grump (hey, I need my sleep and food to be happy, that's it! ). But I know you can do it! Just stay busy. Go somewhere. Do something fun. Stay away from the kitchen. Plus, we'll be here and I promise NO ONE WILL TALK ABOUT FOOD!

Again, just very glad you are back!

EDIT: how did the gingerbread party work? Did your DCousin have multiple gingerbread houses to be made and then everyone decorated them?
