Nancy Drew is my favorite book series (shh, don't tell the other Unicorns! ). DFiance always calls me "Nancy" because I have such a love for Ms. Drew. Plus, I'm a pretty good sleuth.

In staying with Unicorn tradition, I bought myself a new polar fleece yesterday, lavender! Woohoo! It looks very chic.

I never got around to reading the Nancy Drew books when I was a kid, but they've always interested me. I love mysteries. I saw that they had some Nancy Drew movies on the Turner Classic Movies channel (do you have that in Canada?) a while ago, but I missed them.

No, we don't have that movie channel (at least at my house; we get basic digital cable and that's it!) but I don't recall seeing any of the movies. Who were the actors in them? That helps me sometimes, since I'm great with actors' names, but since they're always changing looks I usually can't remember what they looked like!

On another subject, what do you all think of this?

It says "DIS Unicorns" with a hidden Mickey on the ribbon part, but that was sort of lost in the resizing. I can't take credit for the unicorn itself; I found it on a page where you had to pay for the clipart, but I Printscreened the page into Paint and fiddled around with the pic. Anyhow, if anyone wants to use it, feel free! Not that it's Picasso or anything, but hey, I was bored...

About my Thanksgiving..........


I was getting really stressed out trying to put together the Thanksgiving feast. At the last minute, I decided to call a caterer. Boy, did that save me a lot of trouble! This particular caterer loves to think outside the box. Instead of the usual turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie, etc., we had:





Toast

Popcorn

Pretzel Sticks

Jelly Beans

Ice Cream Sundaes

I highly recommend Chef Snoopy!

YUM...I swear, I could live on garlic toast or ANY kind of garlic bread, for that matter. Garlic toast, mac and cheese, chocolate...some of my favorite comfort foods!
