I'll do a "keep the rain away" Dance for you guys! Okay, I won't I lied because I don't dance, I'm horrible. So how bout I send some no rain prayers your way!? LOL

The no rain prayers would be much appreciated because I don't want to have to break out the Mickey Poncho. It's safely packed away awaiting my next trip to WDW. Not to mention I'm dressing as Pooh so that would be Pooh dressed as Mickey dressed as a WDW tourist! :lmao:

What are you ladies reading now? I have to read a whole novel by Thursday for class (nothing like procrastinating!). It's not bad, but it is about life in a concentration camp. Not a light read!

I just finished reading The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks. I loved it! It was awesome! By the way, Are ya glad to have some nicer weather today?? I was so hoping it wouldn't snow any more then those flurries Monday!

Oh my goodness...I wonder if my mom saved all my Babysitter's Club books from when I was younger. I had every book and read them all 10 times each at least!!

I am TOTALLY in!!!! :thumbsup2

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Yay! I have a unicorn and the Unicorn Club official membership tag. I'm so excited! :worship: :woohoo: :yay:  :lovestruc :dance3: :cheer2:

I'm going to go drop by the pumpkin thread now too. Mmmm, pumpkin pie! Love that pumpkin pie! :dance3:

You're welcome! It's official! You're officially an official member! :woohoo: :cool1:  By the way, thanks for mentioning pumpkin pie! I just added a recipe for pumpkin pie today on my pumpkin recipe thread.

Hey! We did Jack Skellington, Sleeping Beauty, and Minnie Mouse.

Ooh! Pictures, please!! :)

Tigger's doing a "keep the rain away" dance. You're guaranteed to have perfect weather! :thumbsup2

All the rain dancing worked! It rained up until time to put out the pumpkins and trick or treat! Woohoo! Thanks a million!!

I love the tigger... he's one of my favorite characters. My house is full of T-I-double GUH-ers. :lovestruc :thumbsup2

Everyone have a great Halloween? We did! I have been snacking on too much candy. I like to steal the things meant for adults, like Paydays and Almond Joys. Yum! I have such a sweet tooth. I eat really healthy food or total crap- no in between!
Minnie- It has been aesome weather here, hasn't it? I haven't read Sparks yet. I know, I know, I may be one of the only people never to have read The Notebook, but I hadn't even seen Titanic until last year!:confused3
tigger- I am a pumpkin freak too! I stopped by the thread as well. Dh bought me a pumpkin danish coffee cake last week, Little Debbie pumpkin smilies, and a pumpkin spice latte yesterday. Have you had the pumpkin cream cheese muffins from Starbucks? They are awesome!
Julez- Did you get the Disney pumpkin carving kit from Walgreens? I did a Mickey on mine!
Betterrun. I am taking ds on an archaeology weekend sponsored by our local museum. Why else would I be up at 6 a.m. on a Saturday?!?

Good morning everyone!

Minnie & Paint- Yup, we were in the 70s here yesterday, how awesome is that? We did trick or treating in our regular clothes, the kids wearing costumes w/o coats even! I don't think that's EVER happened in DD's 5 years of life!

Jenvenza- :wave2: and :welcome:

Everyone else- :wave2: Have a grrrrrrrrrrrrreat weekend!

Tonight is a party @ our place w/DH's workfriends and their wives. Should be alright. I plan on steering the convo to Disney planning cuz one of them is planning a trip for spring.

Gotta get ready for work now and then come home and CLEAN!

I hope everyone had a spooky and fun Halloween!! :hmghost: My DF and I stayed home and watched scary movies. We finally got around to seeing "The Strangers"... it was strange, to say the least. Has anyone seen it?

Our trick or treator turn out was a little disappointing... we had like 10 kids come to our door. :guilty: I love it when we get a bunch and I get to see all the cute little kids dressed up. Hopefully next year will be more eventful!

I don't know about you guys but I'm so excited for it to be November- Thanksgiving, Black Friday sales, Christmas decorations, and cooler weather! :woohoo: .. How many days till Christmas? :santa:

honugirl- Woohoo! I'm glad it didn't rain on your Halloween parade. I told you Tigger's dance would keep the rain away! He told me that it's 99 percent guaranteed! The dancing Tigger looks great in your sig. :thumbsup2

paintnolish- PUMPKIN FREAKS UNITE!!! :grouphug: Thanks for contributing to the pumpkin thread. As soon as the cans of pumpkin go on sale, I'll try those pumpkin pancakes! I've tried making them before, but they always turned out mushy in the middle. I think it's because the recipe called for too much pumpkin puree. I never thought about adding a little pumpkin to a regular pancake batter.

Your DH was so sweet to buy all those pumpkin goodies for you. I hope you gave him a big kiss! :love2: I love pumpkin spice lattes and frappucinos from Starbucks! I love to make pumpkin spice hot chocolate, too! No pumpkin in it, just pumpkin spice. I'll post the recipe on the pumpkin thread one of these days. I've never tried Starbucks' pumpkin cream cheese muffins, but I have tried their pumpkin scones. :)

julez- Have a great time at the party! party:

Rora- I'm sorry that you didn't get a lot of TOTs. But, hey, you get to have all that leftover candy for yourselves!! ;) I'm totally excited for November. I'm already planning the Thanksgiving menu and thinking about Christmas, too. :santa:

Yup, Tigger's dancing worked perfectly! Woohoo!!!! We didn't get many trick or treaters yesterday either, but we still had a lot of fun.

I'm off to go take another nap. I'm so tired these days. Ugh, I hate my tumor... I hate my tumor... I hate my tumor... I also hate my rare disease...

Can't wait until Tuesday. I got screwed at another barn I was riding at so I had to find a new one. I'm going to the new one on Tuesday! Woohoo! I get to learn how to jump. After I've been there for a bit I'll possibly have the option to lease a horse so that I can ride more often! Score! Can't wait to meet my new school horse. :woohoo: There's just something about a horse that makes me feel better when I'm having a bad day.

Honugirl, I'm so sorry to hear about this. :sad2: I will keep you in my prayers. Here's a big hug from me.

That's awesome that you love to ride horses. I've always wanted to take horseback riding lessons. Have fun learning how to jump! :)

Argh! My family was here visiting and I am way behind. Hopefully I can catch up before I am off to WDW in 5 days :)

Thanks! I appreciate all the prayers and the hug too. :thumbsup2 It's going to be a long road, but I'm confident I'm going to come out the other side doing A OK. :cool1:

Horses for me throughout this have been a lifesaver. They love you whether you're feeling good or not and they don't care if all you can do is get on and walk or you just brush them and feed them treats. There's just something about that connection that makes the world seem OK. Plus it gives me a freedom that I don't normally get these days. I can't wait to feel like I'm flying. It's going to be so awesome!

I've already begun to plan my show outfit for when I get back to showing. It's going to be a navy blue jacket with a lavender shirt (in honor of the Unicorn Club and the fact that it just looks cool...) and my lavender Hockey Fights Cancer tie. I'm ready! I'm going to look for a unicorn tie tack to wear too. :cheer2: So if anyone knows where to get one of those, let me know... :woohoo:

I am so happy you are so positive!! You ARE going to come out the other side doing waay better than A Ok!! :cheer2:

Syrreal: Happy 5 days till WDW!! You're so lucky!

Happy Monday! :surfweb:

Happy Monday everyone! Did anyone else want to stay in bed this morning? I so wasn't ready for the weekend to be over!

Thanks Rora! :cheer2: :woohoo:

Ugh, I have no desire to get out of bed today, but this is my support group day and we always go out to lunch, which is really fun. I'm just not a morning person... :sad2:

I ordered the Saddle Club DVD's off Amazon.com the other day. $10.99! Woohoo! I couldn't believe it. They also had the BSC DVD and some others that I might get next month.
