The way I look at it is this....I'm a major football fan. Just like in football, every job is a team effort. Who's more likely to get traded or cut from the team, the veteran who stays and practices with the rookies when he doesn't have to or the one who says "I don't have to stay, so why should I?" The players on the Denver Broncos I've admired the most have always been the ones with the best work ethic, even if they didn't start with the most talent. They're also the ones who usually made something out of themselves from being just walk-ons or just on the practice squad.

That's a smart way to look at it. I work in a TA though so once those doors are closed, there's not really much to do! I do spend extra time doing all the other stuff we host, like Disney night (Jan 7th! ) and travel shows. I love having holidays off though because when I worked in a restaurant, we didn't! So I'm taking full advantage of it!

While I really missed DFiance, I had a nice time with my family. And.. my favorite cousin got engaged!! She's marrying the nicest man so we're all super excited for her!!

My family and I had a great time on our trip, but it's really nice to be home. We were all completely exhausted when we got home yesterday. I'm still feeling a little tired. I will work on my mini-TR tomorrow. Talk to you guys later!

I'm mad at myself.. all this time I thought DFiance was coming home today. I called him at 6am his time to say "Happy Coming Home Day!" and then he told me he was going to call me asap to let me know that I read his ticket wrong.. he leaves tomorrow. Apparently I just looked at the Departure date and forgot he was taking a red eye. Needless to say, I'm very grumpy. But hey.. what's one more day?

I'll be sure to read it first thing tomorrow morning! Work has been soooo slow lately and I find myself hanging around the DIS more often than not.

What can we gab about? I went to see Benjamin Button last night. It was really good, the only thing I would complain about was that it was l-o-n-g. Has anyone else seen it? They made Brad Pitt look pre-Angelina, with the makeup and airbrushing. I've also seen Yes Man and Bedtime Stories recently.

I sound like some sorta movie buff...

I'm glad you enjoyed watching Benjamin Button the other day. I haven't seen that movie. I saw the commercial for it the other day and I must say that Brad Pitt was looking pretty hot.
