I just received our Hockey team’s practice and game schedule for October. Bad news...
As some of you know, I'm a Hockey Instructor and coach here in the Nutmeg state. It just so happens that, because of the dates of our October WDW stay and cruise, I will be missing two practices and two games .

The sacrifices one must endure.

Hockey is life... but Disney is Magic!

Gee Coach, that's too bad. I'm from right here in Enfield, CT if you'd like me to take your spot. Gosh, the guilt you're gonna have while sitting on Deck 9 or 10...sipping a drink... watching your kids play in the pool is gonna kill you when you start thinking about the ice time you're missing.

Hey Coach!

I know exactly what you're talking about. Except the sport is football not hockey. When we were getting ready to book our cruise for next June one of the first calls I had to make was to the head football coach to verify camp dates for next year! As it is DS will come home Thursday night, we'll be on a plane the next day and ship Sat!

YOU can practice, they have a hockey goal up on the sports deck along with the basketball hoop.

Hey Coach - Hockey is VERY big in Enfield. DH used to play Deck Hockey in Enfield and Waterbury as a young man (he's old now (35))! DS7 will be missing a game or two of Basketball but we'll have to practice on DCL just to ward off the guilt. Glad to be acquainted. Give us a lookup if you're ever in town. Give Mickey a hug for me when you see him next month.
