The Twenty-Something thread.....

I just turned 23!!! I've learned to hold onto my twenties and enjoy every moment. If it's true when they say it only gets better then my 30's will be amazing and I can't wait for the 40's. I don't have kids, husband, boyfriend or pets. I do have one half alive plant though! Oooh and a hornets nest with three hornets. Do they count as pets? I don't ever plan on having kids so I don't know if I would ever leave them.

I am now officially allowed to post here! I just turned 20 last week! :D

I'm 23, will be 24 next month. DH is 27, will be 28 next month. We have been married for 5 years and together for 8. We have 2 adopted sons, 8 and 4 next month (big birthday month for us) that we have had for 1.5 years and one foster baby 6 months that we were supposed to be able to adopt, but will probably be going to a relative very soon instead.

My twenties have been pretty rough so far with the struggle of infertility and now losing our baby, but I've also been blessed with a wonderful dh and two precious boys. We are currently looking into infant adoption, another sibling group, or fertility treatment so no telling what the future holds!

TWENTY-THREE (24 in late August) Bless us dear anal rententive Virgos :)

Foobs :earsboy:

:wave2:

I just turned a quarter of a century here (25 for those who may need a little help this morning!)

ShuisFan584: I LOVE your name and I totally agree that Sheridan and Luis need to just get together and stop this whole shinanagin! They finally killed off Antonio (or did they?!? Da Da DAAAAA!) and they should just be happy, get married and life would be wonderful! I have watched Passion since day1 and hardly ever miss it (unless I am at Disney of course!) Now...if Teresa didn't screw up any chance she had with Ethan, life would be wonderful, too. I have always been a huge Ethan/Teresa fan!

Ok...I have babbled enough about Passions...it's just nice to see another fan out there!

Korey

Thanks. :D

I'm a big Passions fan and started watching it a month after it started, and I usually don't miss a show. Obviously Sheridan and Luis are my favorite couple, and I hated the past few years when they had her with Antonio and kept her and Luis apart! I don't think Antonio is dead, because they never actually showed his body. I think they just left room for him to come back some time in the future, and he'll explain that he got off the plane or something.

I'm 24 which is hard to believe since I really feel more like 16.

Same here. My brother just told me this weekend that I should start dressing my age. Don't tell me that I'm the only 25 year old who wears tight capris, platform sandals and midriff tees? Or maybe he just meant that I shouldn't wear those clothes since I have these child-bearin' hips now. :scared1:

:wave2: still 20 something for a couple more years :)

Isn't that the truth! I put a lot of hard work into learning all of these bad habits in the past 39 1/2 years of my life.

I have another question for the 20 somethings.

Did 25 hit you really hard? I remember drving down the street when all of the sudden it hit me...I was a Quater of a Century OLD! I burst out into tears...although the tears might have been caused by hormones since I was pregant with my second! LOL!

Did anyone else have this type of reaction?

This happened to my oldest DD last year. She was devastated. I did not have a whole lot of sympathy as age never has been an issue with me. I just didn't understand.
Funny though the same year I was turning 52 so I told her to reverse her numbers and see how that would feel.
She decided 25 was not so bad after all.:teeth:
