The Twenty-Something thread.....

Hey, I am in the club. DH and I are 27 and about to have our thrid child!

For those of you in your twenties with kids...do you leave your kids to go to Disney? DH and I leave in a little over a week for a trip without the kids (3 and 1.) Just wondering if any others do that?

I'm 26 and due with our third not nearly soon enough

We don't leave the kids, DH wouldn't be caught dead at Disney without them! He's still trying to convince me he hates the place, though he always seems to have a really good time  I think if we left them the 7 year old would start a munchkin revolution to take control of the house :teeth:

Woot to all of us 20 somethings :) :happy2: I'm 25, soon to be 26...well...100 some odd days soon :)

21-year-old here, 22 in 12 days...Either this year went by really, really fast, or I was too busy ::ahem:: enjoying being 21 that I just don't remember lots of it!

I am due after you..I think. I am due October 15th. But I am fortuante to have easy pregnancies. The only big ailment I have is exhaustion...so DH has to step up and do more house work. So I like being pregnant, but my oldest is younger. So he cant get into too much trouble.

I take the kids every other trip. They went in October 2003 and will go again December 2004. So, I dont feel so bad about leaving them in between.

I could join twice (20-something x 2 + some:teeth: )

Hi can I join in. I'm 27, married for 6 years but no kids (I teach 7 year olds so I have 29 kids every day!!). I have 2 cats and 3 rabbits though.

I'm 39, but I've been watching Real World since I was in my 20's. Does that count? :rolleyes1

I have another question for the 20 somethings.

Did 25 hit you really hard? I remember drving down the street when all of the sudden it hit me...I was a Quater of a Century OLD! I burst out into tears...although the tears might have been caused by hormones since I was pregant with my second! LOL!

Did anyone else have this type of reaction?

I'm 25 and DH is 28. We have a 10 month old DS and two dogs. :)

We're hoping to bring DS for his first WDW trip in December 2005. If we are able to make it down there earlier, we'd probably leave him with my mom because it would be just be for a long weekend.

I'll be 26 in October and the thought of being closer to 30 than 20 is kinda sad...I'm getting old. 25 didn't hit me hard, but I think 26 will.

I could be that a couple times! :teeth:

When I saw a twenty-something thread started by Dan, I thought...Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! :)

25 didn't hit me hard but 26 was awful!!! All I could think of is that i was closer to 30! It has been my worst b-day ever!!!

24 was a great Birthday, 25 not so much.

26 was a blur because I started miscarrying that day-my Birthday.

I'm looking forward to 27. It is my Lucky year-7/27/77. :teeth: Plus we will be in Door County with my family for my BDay. Should be a great time.

I think 29 will be really hard. And I already told my DH that I will not be at home for my 30th. :teeth: Hmm, wonder where I will be?!?! :earsgirl:

Wait until you are approaching 30. :drinking1 :scared:

I'll be 27 and my DH will be 30 (no more 20 something club for him! :p ). We will celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary in May and no kids!

When I turned 25, my DB called to tell me I was "half a century". I told him that is why he is taking college stats for the 3rd time! :teeth: I'm not concerned with age. My DH and I both feel like we are 21. Life is good! :Pinkbounc

I'm 21 and my boyfriend is 22....we'll both add a year in the fall. We're hoping to get married early next year (it was hopefully this August, but since he hasn't been able to find a job yet, it's stretching farther away). Kids...will be at least a year after that, maybe longer. Cats will be immediate if they don't come before the marriage. He's always loved cats, but then the second he found out I'd had mice in my apartment he was all for getting one ASAP!!! :teeth:
