The TRIP of all Trips... Ana's MAW PTR... *TR STARTED* Link- Post #1901 Pg. 127

Great updates. Love the countdown-may have to steal that! All those beautiful things-so fun!

Yes, I'm doing much better now. Oh man dry sockets, I've heard those are the worst. One of the wisdom teeth abscessed the Saturday before my surgery and I swear it was the worst pain I've ever felt in my life.
The dry sockets were quite painful. :headache:

I'm glad to hear you are doing better now!

I have only done the school ones. I haven't even looked at the Halloween ones yet.
I saw them... very cute!

I love all the gifts. This is so great. I wish I could sew. I would make Claire so many things.
It has been like Christmas here for Juliana. She has received so many awesome gifts!

I'm sure you could take sewing lessons somewhere. :confused3

You can steal our calendar idea. I know you are much more crafty than I am... I'd love to see what our calendar was supposed to look like! :lmao::lmao:

Hey Tim. I see you're playing with some interesting smilies tonight around the boards. Good to see you have a little extra time to dink around. :thumbsup2 How's that raking going? :rotfl2:

LOL :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I actually skipped the gym and did leaves for 3 hours this morning. All my leaves are gone!!! :woohoo::woohoo: I got to mow the front yard but the back still needs to be mowed. I even got the winter fertilizer on this afternoon. Next week I will mow the front and back for the last time this year. WHEW!

Ok, now i have the Mamas and the Papas in my head... All the leaves are brown... and the skies are grey, (and the skies are grey-ey)

Hi Tim! I know we've been on the same threads for awhile, and I think I meant to read about your MAW news, but was just so behind. I saw your gold ribbon in your siggie tonight, and it reminded me. My DS and DDIL are big into fighting childhood cancer, and have many friends from Cole's Foundation - families of kids with cancer.

Thank you for sharing your story, and pics of Juliana. It's so hard to see what she went through, but so heart warming to see how strong she is - I believe she will continue to be cancer free in Jesus' name!

I'm looking forward to reading about your trip - I'm not sure of the details yet - just getting started!

Tammie

Love the updates! THe Big Give gifts are great! A friend of mine once made me a blanket like that, it was so soft and warm. Really enjoying all the updates, they are keeping me entertained as it is my turn to be sick! I have the stinkin flu! But like I told you before better to be sick now than in Disney!

I saw in one of your update pics a bunch of leaves in the yard but I didn't want to say anything...:rolleyes1

Yesterday I was walking to my car from my DD's ballet studio and the leaves smelled sooooo good and fall-ish! They crunched under my feet which I love. What I love even more is that there aren't any trees in our yard so no leaves to rake! But I can appreciate the smell and crunch! Good job getting all yours taken care of, it takes forever doesn't it? I used to wear gloves because I'd get calluses. That word looks really weird, calluses. I think that's how you spell it. Anyhow, good job on the yard work!:thumbsup2

Yeah, some of those "smilies" would be on my TR. ;)

I've decided that we are taking our 18 bags of leaves and dumping them on the front porch of the jerk down the street who DOES NOT RAKE his leaves, but BLOWS THEM INTO THE STREET. Therefore, all of his leaves are on my front lawn.:mad::mad:

Good for you getting yours done. Mark has to cut the grass one more time too.

Not really a fan of them but I do like that song! :thumbsup2

At least I had blue skies while I was raking. :)

:welcome:

Thanks for joining Tammie!

I wish I had more time to visit everybody's PTRs & TRs but as you know there isn't enough time for that, so no worries!

I haven't heard of Cole's Foundation- just checked out the website. WOW. :sad1: How sad.... There are so many families that are effected by cancer and it is so much harder when it is a child.

Thank you for sharing your story, and pics of Juliana. It's so hard to see what she went through, but so heart warming to see how strong she is - I believe she will continue to be cancer free in Jesus' name!
It felt very weird and wrong taking pictures of her when she was sick. I wanted her to be able to see what she went through. She will always carry the scars of what happened though, so she will be reminded everyday. She is doing good and the doctors (and us) couldn't be happier with how she has progressed. We have August 2012 circled on our calendar- she will be considered cured then. :goodvibes

I'm looking forward to reading about your trip - I'm not sure of the details yet - just getting started!

Thank you for stopping!!! Any questions... just ask! :goodvibes

Juliana loves her blanket... and Melody loves it too. Mel was usuing it again tonight!

I hope you are feeling better. The flu stinks! Let us both get it out of our system before December!!!!! :goodvibes

LOL Well, they are all gone now! All our trees are bare except for 2 small ones in the front but I can just mow those. Next step->winter!

Yesterday I was walking to my car from my DD's ballet studio and the leaves smelled sooooo good and fall-ish! They crunched under my feet which I love. There are tons of leaves all over the place here. The wind and rain today has helped with that. I have a leaf blower which helps. I did the leaves 3 different times so I could keep it manageable. I always wear gloves or I tear up my hands too.

Yeah, some of those "smilies" would be on my TR. ;)
But of course!!!!!!!

I love when people blow leaves and snow into the road. :headache::headache:

You can color the bags Disney colors. Make on a Mickey bag, Donald bag, Goofy bag.... etc... :lmao: They can be 'gift' bags!

What do you think arrived in the mail on Wednesday? Maybe I should give you 3 guesses? I'm sure you wouldn't need all 3. Maybe 2? NAH! How about 1? You might guess paperwork from MAW but I'm sure you wouldn't waste your guess on that! LOL (bad joke:sad2:) I'm sure you would use your guess on another Big Give- and you would be right!!!!

We decided to wait till Melody came home from work to open up the envelope. Juliana was so excited to finally be able to open it.

After Melody helped Ana get the envelope opened, Juliana pulled out a plastic bag.

Hummm.. what could it be?

Juliana saw something else in the envelope and pulled it out.

Here was a picture and a card. Melody read the card to Juliana. I'm not exactly sure how she was reading it though with her eyes closed! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

The note and picture were from Patty & Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn colored a picture for Juliana.

Juliana and Melody opened up the bag and there were princess hair clip inside.

I was taking the pictures from across the room so I couldn't really see what they were looking at. I had to get a closer look.

The hair clips were made of ribbon shaped into different princesses.

They were the coolest clips ever! We never have seen anything like them!

We would like to thank Patty and Kaitlyn (sorry, don't know your DIS ID) for making the hair clips for Juliana. She really loves them and we had to put them away because she wanted to wear them to school the next day! Juliana CANNOT wait to wear them in Disney!!!!!! :goodvibes
