I read the story about puppy and puppy's brother and had to laugh because we have a similar story. When Chelsea was first in the PICU after diagnosis we got a stuffed elephant delivered from a florist from my husbands work. She loved it instantly. She was barely moving but would try to roll to get near it. It became very clear after about a week she loved the elephant we named Ella. So when we got out of the hospital after that stay I went right to the florist near our home it had come from and bought the other two they had. One was lost in a Chemo spill incident but the other two are still in rotation. She does not understand there are two Ella's yet but I am sure someday soon she will.

I just wanted to say I hope you have an awesome trip ~ your PTR was one of the first I started reading when I found this board about a month ago ..... I show Taylor & Samantha all the pictures of Juliana & told them her story. When I showed Taylor the most recent picture of her opening the final Big Gives she said "Wow Mom look at how happy she is. She really deserves this Disney Trip after being so sick when she was little." That about sums up what I was going to say so enjoy your trip & have a VERY safe flight there & back.....

Just ONE MORE SLEEP

Hopefully we get a little sleep... Juliana was in our bed at 5:30 this morning. I hope she makes it through the night tonight.

Had a thought, when Juliana and Melody are at the princess tea you should try and see if you can weasel your way into the Pricess Dinner that night at the GF. Slip the Host a 20 and tell him it's a special night! It is worth a try!

Thank you Liesa! Juliana loves bananas but I'm not sure if she has ever had as frozen banana befrore. I think she would like it.

That is too funny! I think we messed up by never switching them. If you look at the picture, Puppy is much thinner and worn in- Puppy's Brother is plump and look totally different now. Once she knew they were different we just gave her Puppy's Brother to play with.

I'm late to the party, but made it before you leave (barely!). Princess Juliana is just beautiful and has already been through so much in her short life, that you all deserve this trip. The Disers with The Big Give are such a generous talented group! I hope you all have a wonderful, magical WISH trip!

When Puppy was first purchased she was all alone. After a few weeks Juliana had taken a liking to Puppy and we realized that we needed a backup. What if Puppy was ever lost? Juliana would be devastated! So Melody went back to the store and found another 'puppy'. We hid the Puppy impostor until one day we couldn't find puppy. Instead of tearing the house apart we did the switch. Juliana knew right away that this wasn't Puppy. We admitted that we couldn't find Puppy and she would have to sleep with the fake Puppy that night. Juliana named the new puppy 'Puppy's Brother' and has been named that ever since. We were able to locate Puppy the next day and we didn't hide Puppy's Brother- we just let her play with him and with Puppy too.

OMG! The backstory to Puppy is hilarious! It sounds like a children's book or something! "Puppy, The Untold Story"! And of course she'd know the difference! She is such a riot!

Alrighty, you shouldn't be doing anymore replies because you have enough to do packing that U-Haul for Juliana's big give outfits! Man, just think, tomorrow you'll be there. The time really flew here on your pretrip, didn't it? Have a fabulous time! I hope the tea party is perfect and that Juliana and Mel share some precious girl time together! Remember...pictures, pictures, pictures! How many memory cards do you have? At least 8, right?

Hi Juliana and Mom and Dad, Kazzy here. Hannah & I sent the boa, gloves and headband. I keep forgetting to include my disname in the Big Gives! It's only my 3rd one but I'll get it together! I don't post too much and never really read pre trip reports until I got involved with the Big Give.

I want to thank you for sharing your daughter's story. These days there are so many sad stories you hear, it was so wonderful learn of her triumph, to see her beautiful face and see the joy of her loving parents. Thank you.

May God be with you on your journey, and have FUN FUN FUN! This is our favorite time to go to WDW so I look forward to your report when you return. I am going to live vicariously through your trip!

We are packed and ready to go! Mostly....

I am bringing the computer so I can unload my pics every day. I was going to get a wireless card but I changed my mind. I might add internet tethering on my phone for the month and try that out....
I'm sure I will be beat every night and just pass out early.
