Well, hopefully when the Cars Area and Ariel open it will slow down and then I might try it. It is the motion with the 3D that would do me in. I can't wear bifocals for pretty much the same reason.
Oh, okay - that makes sense. The motion and 3D combo. I don't wear bifocals yet, although the last time I had to get new glasses for my nearsightedness, the doctor told me that in a couple of years I would need bifocals. Funny thing is, when my prescription was updated for seeing at distances (like enough to pass the eye exam at the DMV, for example), my close-up/reading vision got worse. Something about strengthening my eyes to see far away made my vision up close worse. And when I now have to take off my glasses to read up close - or pull the pages right up to my face - it does kind of seem weird.
Wednesday dawned pretty good, it was a pretty morning and there were a few pictures I had to take.

one of the hall light fixtures. I love the different light fixtures and ever since I read Sherry's trip report I have checked out all of the light fixtures.![]()
I'm glad I was an inspiration with my light rampage!!
Of course, I was inspired and influenced to hunt down the light fixtures by Molly and deejdigsdis in their trip reports! I guess that's the great thing about trip reports - we all can read each other's TR's and get ideas for things to do and see on our own trips. And we continue on....

I love Pixie Hollow. I think that it is just adorable and the theming is great. From here we walked over to Riverbelle to have breakfast. I love the Mark Twain breakfast. There is no pictures sorry, I fail at food porn. But, I did notice from our window something I have never noticed before in Tarzan's Treehouse.

I know I am lame but I was thrilled to see a ship up there.
I may add more later.
You got some great Pixie Hollow shots. See, I agree with you - it's adorable and the theme is great. Also, I recall some wonderful, beautiful photos that Jasmine/WazowskiLOVER took in Pixie Hollow at night a couple of years back, when it was empty, and the fountains and water features were lit up and just gorgeous.
My only issue with Pixie Hollow is that I have no desire to meet the fairies, or wait in line to do that. If there were no pixies there - like let's say they all went out to lunch together
- I would totally go into PH and start taking tons of photos of all the little details and mini-statues, flowers, etc. because it is really cute. LOVE the photo of Duffy sitting on the red flower.
. One of these days.

for your back
Not fun at all!
After we rode our beloved POTC we ventured over to the Haunted Mansion. It was a crowded elevator, the speakers in our Doom Buggy didn't work properly and kept cutting out and really spoiling the ride. And the thing that kept us away from there the rest of the trip, the ride died on us near the exit. To me that is enough to sour me on a ride for a while. So we wandered through all of the stores in New Orleans Square always a ball for me. I have never not bought something there. This trip I bought shot glasses for my nephew Ryan and his fiancée Celina and I got their names engraved on them. Ryan got Mickey Mouse and Celina got Minnie Mouse. Ryan collects shot glasses, I have contributed a lot to the collection. I decided that it might be cute to get them a pair that goes together.
