Who has read the book, and who's excited for the movie? :)

I'm about half way through the book right now, and I'm lovinggg it. If you like romance, you'll definitely like it. And the time travel aspect is not science-fictiony at all, if you don't like that kind of thing.

I'm so happy about the movie. What can go wrong when Rachel McAdams (who is just like, amazingly gorgeous and a great actress) and Eric Bana (there are no words!) get together? :goodvibes

I didn't know about it till i saw the commercials! i cant wait to read the book and watch the movie :)

Oh, you boast about me loving Eric Bana, yet you talk about him shirtless and his new movie in the same day! :p

I want to see it for Eric Bana. That's it. <3 ;)

....I can't help it. Look at that face! :lovestruc

Good God woman, you trying to kill me or something?

I don't like romance novels much. I'd also prefer the time travel to be more science fictionish. I read the Wikipedia page, and it's confusing... I might read it, just to see what types of paradoxes I can find. I already found an ontological paradox from Wikipedia (His younger self is taught different survival skills from his older self. It's a paradox because the knowledge to learn these skills comes from must of been learnt at some point, but because the older self teaches the younger self, then the information comes from nowhere...)

ha. haha. haaaa.

I can't see that. :(

If you want something like that, you need to watch LOST. They're really good at time travel.

I watched the trailor on my computer a while agoo.
I thought it looked so good! Haven't read the boook yet though.

I've read the book and I loved it. Whatever I read next is not gonna live up to it. It's so sad tho, it's pretty happy until you think it's going to get even better for them.
Then it just goes downhill and sad. I was so heartbroken when I finished it.
I'm so excited for th emovie.

That is one of the next books on my reading list.
I've heard a lot of good stuff about it :)
Then after I read it I'll probably see the movie.

My sister read it and gave it to me and I will read it after 2 other books I gotta read.

So, I didn't know the ending of it (well, I peeked but it didn't make sense), so I just read the plot summary on wikipedia. Omg. :( Why couldn't Audrey give it a happy ending!?

I want to read it, but I can't yet. I have to see the movie first. I'm one of those weirdos who has to see the movie before they read the book. If I read the book first, I'll put specific faces to the characters and if they don't look exactly the same in the movie, everything is ruined and I can't watch the movie.

Idiotic? Yes I know I am, thank you! :D

I guess she gave it an unhappy ending because it seems damn near impossible to be married to a time traveler and have things work out.
And well due to an incident, it made it pretty hard for him to get out of any situation he time travels to. It's sad, but I guess it's how things would be if life were like that.

I'm kind of like that, but I saw the trailor, and thank goodness, the faces just MATCH. Rachel McAdams IS Clare Abshire. Eric Bana IS Henry DeTamble. They're perfect.

I hope this movie will work out; it looks really promising. People say it's kind of like The Notebook crossed with Benjamin Button.

Yeah, and it's kind of ironic that Henry mentions earlier in the book that if his legs were amputated, he would surely die. The optimist in me just really wanted it to work out.
