Just found a love note from a girl in my sons pocket- actually 2 notes from the same girl. She loves him and wants him to hold her hand.... has she seen his hands??? LOL He's 14... ahhhhh puppy love  I just set them on his bureau...

Aww, how cute :)

DH has actually saved all the "love notes" that I have passed to him back in high school  (this was back in 1987 and 1988). Although, when I read them now, I can't believe how BAD my handwriting was :rotfl:. I told him that I'm leaving it up to him if he wants to hold onto them or not. I'm fine with either decision he makes.

My DH still has a couple of love notes I stuck in his jacket. . .in the same jacket! It's a classic Levi denim jacket and it hasn't fit him in 15 years or so (his shoulders got too big) and it's on my side of the closet now. . .I've left the notes right where they've always been, although I take them out when I wash the jacket.

Awwww...cute!:lovestruc

At 14, that is awesome! It seems so innocent and sweet. When my nephew was 14, girls were sending dirty photos to his cell phone :scared1::scared1: Luckily, he was creeped out by it!

I know... I'm sure there's a lot more going on in 8th grade than hand holding. My son is a very young 14... this girl texts him a lot (he leaves his phone all over) and it's never anything inappropriate. I think she's in 7th grade but I'm not sure.

Thats so sweet :cloud9:
I haven't reached that stage with my boys yet, I'm finding rocks, erasers and an occasional small ball of foil

Well isnt she forward! :rotfl: I would put them up on the fridge.

DD is only 11, so no love notes yet. I have found that DD is a money hoarder. Her lunch is $2 a day, and I typically give her $3 or $4, because they can buy ice cream and other treats. At then end of the week when I am emptying pockets to do laundry, I typically find at least $5. When I ask her about it, she says "its my savings account". I have told her recently, that from now on, if I find money in pockets, it will be "my savings account". We will see what I find this Friday!

This is my daughter, age 3. And let me not forget the pecans. Her daycare has a pecan tree in the middle of the playground. We have a small bowl of all the pecans she's brought home.

Her current thing is colored rocks.

I suppose she is pretty smart. I know when she was about 4, I was "spring" cleaning her bedroom and I found $160 (mostly ones and fives). The money was in all different places. Found some in books, some in her Barbie house, some in her doll house and even folded so tiny, they fit in her Polly pocket buildings! She even told me then, she was saving for something BIG! That is how she purchased her Nintendo DS, which she STILL has, although she upgraded to the DSi a few years ago, she kept the DS. There is no telling how much she has "hidden" in her room, and the funny part is, she actually has an account at the bank, where grandparents put money for her!

I found out that if you wash and dry a Nintendo memory card, it will still work:upsidedow

I also found out my DS will cry for almost 2 hours when I accidentally wash his Pokemon cards that he saved up money to buy just 1 week ago. We live in Canada and bought them in Pennsylvania. I offered to buy him new ones, but he wants them from America:sad1:

DD16 has a habit of leaving chapstick in her pockets. :headache::mad: And yes my clothes were in the washer and dryer when this happened. :sad2:

Aww that is sweet...a lot sweeter than the text I found in my 14 year old son's phone from a girl who liked him. She wanted to hold more than his hand. :scared1:

I found nearly ten dollars in dimes and nickels for cleaning out the washer filter. Of course I spent $7 for a husky tool set that had the right screw driver in it.

Awww, I just happened across this after a bad day, but it is so sad that your DS was upset. I live in michigan, I don't know if they would be the right cards, but I'd be happy to look for some replacements.
