The Tale of the Grow Walk ….Hunh?

I had wanted to update today, but it was a Gracie day and she was not keen on the thought of letting me doing anything today. I will try to get something up tomorrow. I hate that I can't post as often as I can, but it is what it is.

You have an excellent reason...princess in residence. princess:

Love the shot of Clare in the safari vehicle mirror. Very cute.

Great safari Pics! Glad you got to see lions! Even the male although he was lying down.

I can never get good Safari pics, I always end up on the wrong side of the jeep from where all the good photo ops are.

Awesome safari pictures! Love Claire in mirror!

We understand when Gracie takes priority attention. Hope you really enjoy your time with her:-)

Jen, I know you'll understand why I can't comment on individual things as I normally do (I wonder if I'll ever catch up). But I read all of your updates and enjoyed your beautiful photography as always.

The photopass pictures are great!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family and enjoy that precious new granddaughter.

I have always wanted to take a picture like this and it just worked out that I saw Claire in the mirror….and she saw me aiming at it and posed.

This picture turned out so cute! Love i!

That truck is used for the African Trek.

I love your safari pictures. So many giraffes and total score on the lions. That picture of the female lion is beautiful.

I was going to say, didn't you guys just HAVE pizza? :rotfl2:

she does take priority, whether I want her to or not. :rotfl:
I love that shot too.

I often am in a bad seat too, so I was happy to get a few withough someones head totally blocking my shots.

Thanks
She'll be here again tomorrow, so I expect to get nothing done.

It looks like you got some really good animal activity!

We did have some nice activity that day.

Take your time Kathy....I totally understand.
I hope you still had a nice Thanksgiving.

You got some great safari pictures! I'm not surprised, but I never seem to get good ones.

thanks.

I loved that picture and you are the one who inspired me as I believe you have a few shots like that too.
Yes.. we have so much pizza on vacation. Claire can live on it...and chicken strips....:rolleyes1

Love the update and the few pictures of Dino Land you have posted. I have never been here except walking through in all my trips to AK. I hope to spend some time here in January.

I usually don't spend a lot of time in there either. Claire isn't a fan of the Dinosaur ride and I am not a fan of Prime evil HURL. :rotfl2:

The dance party was pretty much ending when we got there and we headed off once again.

We had a fastpass for the Nemo show. Believe it or not…we have never seen this show before. We got in the FP line and sat around and waited to be let in. I noticed Everest had a car stuck. That was the highlight for all of us in line as we waited.

It did start moving again after a bit.

Soon we were let in and we made our way very close to the front and sat next to the part of the stage that juts out.

The show started. I wasn’t sure if we would like it or not. I had heard that some people have issues with the people running the puppets. Never fear, we didn’t have that issue and REALLY enjoyed the show.

Of course I took about a zillion pictures.

Nemo is captured!!!!

Marlon meets Dory.

I thought the sharks were great.

The show props and scenery were really great.

Back to Dory and Marlon.

Crush was also amazing.

I really love this next picture for some reason.

I have to admit, I was leery going in about songs added to this, but all in all, I enjoyed most of them.

Continuing on with more pictures.

And as we all know, Nemo escapes and lives happily ever after.

It was such an enjoyable show and I don’t know what took us so long to come and see it. It was a winner in our eyes.

I am glad that the Fastpass for Toy Story Mania worked out.

How awful that they did not tell you that Magic Kingdom was closed due to capacity. I am glad that you decided to make alternative arrangements. I don't think I have ever seen a park so busy and we have been twice over Thanksgiving and have been during spring break, too. I was surprised that Claire did not want to go to Beaches and Cream. I have never encountered a child before that turns down ice cream.

I am glad that Claire was happy with the pearl she picked. It took me years to get a blue one. I got a gorgeous purple one in Hawaii.

I am sorry that you had more trouble with your Magic Band. I am glad that the Fastpass line for the Safari moved quicker than expected. You managed to get some great animal photos.

I have never seen the Nemo show either, but from the photos it looks great.

Awesome pictures of the Finding Nemo show, Jen.

We have fallen in love with that show and try to fit it in every trip or at least every other trip.

Your pictures are stunning.

I will freak if I ever get stuck on EE at that spot. I'm glad it started running again because I remember a former DISer saying she had to exit the car and walk UP the track to get out. :faint: No thank you!

Gorgeous pictures. I am so glad you finally saw Nemo. It's a wonderful show. Maybe next time you will be able to actually watch it and not take so many picture. :rotfl2: I laugh, but I do the same thing. I have to sit on my hands.

Good updates! For some reason we weren't that fond of the Nemo. While visually neat, it was a bit boring and long to us. We much preferred the Lion King show - more interactive!

I couldn't handle getting stuck on a coaster that high either. You would have to drug me and carry me down from that high!

Great pictures Jen!! Nemo is on the to do list for January. In all of my trips, I have never seen it either so we hope to remedy that as well as to enjoy Dino Land which we have also never done.

Me too. That is one of Claire's favorites and I think she would've cried if we were denied.

It was so crazy busy that week. I expected to be busy, but NOT that busy.
I have no clue why Claire turned it down. She loves icecream but she loves popcorn more. She also isn't super big on chocolate and asked me to let Santa know this year not to give her much. Crazy kid!

Now I am jealous on that one!

I swear the band just hated me. :rotfl2: I hear off and on they are still having similar issues and it's usually one person who has them in the group...though many times people are having issues with room keys and the bands opening the room.
We were happy the line moved fairly fast.

I have never seen the Nemo show either, but from the photos it looks great.

I am happy we finally got to see this show.

Awesome pictures of the Finding Nemo show, Jen.

We have fallen in love with that show and try to fit it in every trip or at least every other trip.

Thanks Kathy. I am so glad we finally saw it. What's nice is we still go to Disney and try new things on each trip.

I will freak if I ever get stuck on EE at that spot. I'm glad it started running again because I remember a former DISer saying she had to exit the car and walk UP the track to get out. :faint: No thank you!

I agree. I would not be too fond to have to climb out and climb that track either.

Gorgeous pictures. I am so glad you finally saw Nemo. It's a wonderful show. Maybe next time you will be able to actually watch it and not take so many picture. :rotfl2: I laugh, but I do the same thing. I have to sit on my hands.

Um...are you new here? :lmao: I must say I do enjoy taking pictures most times so it doesn't bother me. Sometimes I think...oh wait I should take less or I will be editing these forever....and I am. :confused3

Good updates! For some reason we weren't that fond of the Nemo. While visually neat, it was a bit boring and long to us. We much preferred the Lion King show - more interactive!

I love the Lion King too and I think we have only seen that one once as well. We do need to get back and see it again.

I couldn't handle getting stuck on a coaster that high either. You would have to drug me and carry me down from that high!

I know. It looks kind of scary...and I am sure more scary while up there.

Great pictures Jen!! Nemo is on the to do list for January. In all of my trips, I have never seen it either so we hope to remedy that as well as to enjoy Dino Land which we have also never done.

Thanks!
I am happy we tried some new things this trip and a few things we just haven't done for years.
