Hi,

AZKathy, You Asked...Last May we came back from WDW, and I had trouble breathing. I also could not fall asleep. I did not have problems sleeping through the night...My problem was really that I couldn't breathe during the day. I went to a Pulmanary Specialist, had a sleep test, failed miserably, but didn't feel the test was valid. wanted to talk to the Dr. about it, his nurse said No! I found another Dr. Had another sleep test, still failed. I felt that my breathing problem may have been a contributing factor in my test. they want me on a CPAP machine. I have problems with things covering my face when I sleep. I passed the Spirogram, but still have problems when the weather changes. In December I was supposed to schedule a full series on the spirogram, but I have been dragging my feet. I do not snore, I sleep through the night, and I am not suffering from any of the symptoms on the 8 minute advertizement for the CPAP machines.....I am not in a hurry...

:bounce:

I bet you stop breathing during your sleep, though. That is not a good thing. One of our friends brother died from this condition! Not to scare you or anything, it is something you should really respect! The mask is a terrible thing to get used to, it really is. DH has been on it for a whopping 8 days now and he is still trying to get used to it. He finally did not have a nasty thing to say about it today, so I guess he is getting used to it. I absolutely LOVE it! I can finally sleep! His snoring was so terrible that I woud have to use ear plugs and they killed my ears! The machine gives out the white noise, so it is not bad noise wise. With the problems during the day, did they think maybe you had asthma; did you ever try any inhalers? Okay, the mom and nurse has spoken again!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys.

Busy night at work. Lots of wind + rain = cable problems all over the city.

Last date I had before DH & I became SO's? Well, I guess that'd be our first date. We had known each other through friends for a few years. Ever time I'd meet him I'd say "nice to meet you", he'd say (at the same time) "we've met before, nice to see you again" WHOOPS! They say timing is everything, huh? Apparently we had been to lots of the same parties in college & we even hung out together after a Jerry Garcia Band concert in Hampton, Virginia. We talked about it once & I say oh yeah, so & so was there, blah blah blah...he says "I know so & so was there, I drove so & so there...I talked to you for like an hour that night" WHOOPS again! Anyway, our first "just the two of us" date would have been at his apartment. We ate pizza, drank beer & watched the movie "Clockers". Wanna know how he won my heart? While watching the movie, I was getting up off the couch to go get another beer & he said "don't get up". He then reached around to his "dorm-size" fridge sitting next to the couch & handed me a beer. I knew I'd found my Prince Charming. :teeth:

<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/905.gif' border=0></a>Here I come to save the day!!!!! Second page will not do!!!!!!!!

I had a wonderful date with DH on our 10th anniv. I had taken (our then only) Josh and gone to visit his mom, dad, and Grandma Hunter in IL. They live right across the river from St. Louis so we went to the warf for dinner. He got a carriage to take us around the block once (maybe it was twice) before we went to dinner at the Spaghetti House (Wow I remembered the name) then we went to Show Me's bar where he won a calendar for knowing the name of a song the guy was playing. He tried to talk me into hulahooping (sp?) for a prize but by then I was three sheets to the wind so no way was I gonna attempt any form of public gymnastics. Could you imagine a person standing with their legs as far apart as possible trying to gyrate their hips and keep a wibbly wobbly piece of plastic going round and round and round. I would've peed myself or else puked all over. That would've been the end to the evening. Anywho, somehow we made it back to his folks house where we passed out. The next morning we agreed it was the best anniversary we ever had. Go figure!

I cant keep up....... Must.... try...... to ..... read....... all 100 million pages............ must not work anymore.........

AZKathy Thanks so much! I wish we were having one right now, but it's actually May 25. I was answering the latest ? of the day. "When was the last date you went on?"
You know, this is the main reason I love this place. Everyone picks you up when you're down. Squabble is ok between all here, but look out if someone disses any TAGLIKINS. There's praise, teasing, jokes, food, and chocolate.
What a wonderful family! (OK enough of the mushy stuff..sniff..sniff)

Hi everyone! Hope y'all had a great Disney day! :)

I went and started tanning today, so I could not look like a gjost when the big day came around. I don't seem to have burned, so hopefully the girl led me the right way and hooked me up. I have another appointment tomorrow morning.

Brian will be home in 6 days! I'm so excited! We got assigned our DJ today and I spoke to our officiant, so all the little details are working thier way thru!

I know I am boring everyone with my wedding talk, but I need someone to talk to and you guys are it! :) (I work with 10 guys all 29 or younger who don't even listen to the wedding talk anymore! :p)

ohanafamily, I hope you are doing ok with RRBB gone. She will be home so soon!

Deadheadbelle, I haven't abandoned ship yet...Just can't keep up anymore! What did you and the other ladies think about Survivor this week? I think Rich shoulda known better, but I also think Sue blew it a little bit out of proportion...

Anyways...I'm off to bed...Have a lot to o tomorrow...Burn up the printer with place cards and thank you scrolls and wedding programs!

Sleep well, TAGLIKINS! And here's some *clap clap clap clap clap* for the TAG FAIRY!

kadaten, as to your Scanner Question, RRBB is very particular about her printer. Epson makes a special printer for scrapping. all of the ink is acid free and has "True Color representation". If you can wait until she comes back I would rather not go into her sanctum until she is back. As far as scanners go, we use an HP, Epson advertises that theirs are better I think they actually have a little higher resolution. The difference between the most expensive consumer model and the cheapest model is all about scanning negatives (photo). They also make a really expensive 12X12 scanner that she has to go to the Scrap-book store to use. When she copies a page at home, she has to "Stitch The pages together". I think our cheapy scanner at home does a better job than the expensive one at the scrap book store...

Happy to wait! Got the $$ for one as a "thank you" for planning our family trip in December....just haven't had time yet to go shopping/comparing/researching!! So another few days won't hurt a bit!

Isn't CKU almost over? I know you miss RRBB a lot! She'll be home soon!

Thanks again for the techie talk!

Everyone else....sorry for the techie talk! You may now resume normal chatter :)

I'll share a date:)

One of our first dates was to see Gone in Sixty Seconds Cage/Jolie version(we were best friends at the time and still are).We both bonded over a joint love of action movies and groos out comedy since the week before we had seen Road Trip.We named his truck after a car in the movie(Elenanor, the Shelby from the last big chase) and it's just one of many great stories we have.I'm so in love and we started as best friends and it became more

CourtasanSatine, That story is so simple and beautiful. My First Date with RRBB was even simpler. We finally managed to catch each other on the phone, talked for several hours. She was leaving town the next day for work, so I suggested we meet at a Taco Cabana. I couldn't stop staring into her eyes. After a few more hours we decided to go. I stole a kiss in the parking lot, and got honked at by a pickup truck. I told her not to worry, I wouldn't follow her home. She kept looking behind her wondering to see if I was stalking her.

kadaten, I went to Fry's on a Sunday to buttonhole the Epson Rep about some scanner features that were advertised. He told me there are some pretty, shiny ones (by HP), but to look at the optical resolution. This is how fine the scanner can read the picture. There is an interpolated resolution, but that can bet done by SW. He then asked me if I was going to scan photo negatives. That is where the resolution is most important. Since we mostly do 1-1 size, or blow up a little, I should look for color accuracy. Epson boasts better colors. I also like to match the scanner to the printer. I have mostly HP printers, so I bought an HP Scanner.. Now RRBB uses an Epson Printer, so I looked into one for her scrapping room.

Epson has 2 regular sized printers and one large format I think RRBB uses a 960(Last years model)…BTW, Large Format means 11X17, so it isn't the Scrap Book Scanner.

disneyluvers oh, I am so embarrassed!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_13_18.gif' border=0></a> May 25 is a good day, isn't it? My DS birthday is that day!

I have a full day at the ball park. DD2 starts practice at 9 am until noon, then DD1 starts at noon and finishes at 3 pm. <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/18/18_7_11.gif' border=0></a> I don't know how much my back will tolerate it. DH and I spend around 3 hours at Lowes and Home Depot and then we had to get cleats for the DDs, so my leg pain was incredible last night and my feet were quite numb. Let's see how much I can stand today!

Have a great day, everyone!!!!!!!!!!

ohanafamily you are in denial about the APNEA, whether it is effecting you during the day or not, it could be the end just ONE night, any time. GET OVER IT! GET THE MACHINE! RRBB he needs it and you need to influence a decision for his safety!!! My mom has APNEA and has been on the machine for at least 5yrs. She doesn't like it, but needs it.
Having No Kids, I have to give the "Break Times" up for the people in my office who are on a more restrictive schedule. I can probably figure out when I can go...
HUH, the dragons don't count. You better hope they missed that. Hence, the reason no color or mention of their names

My first date with DH was a double and very boring. Out to eat, back to the other couples house to watch football and then home. Ahhhhhhhh........but we became friends first and then........I think I waited 2 months for just a kiss. After that, we married 9 months later and have been married for 7yrs. :) It's all good baby!!!

Kismetdreams ahhhhhhh, I remember tanning. It was so nice to be a bit tan and put that pretty white dress on....you are gonna be gorgeous.

I'm off, need to shower and go to the grocery.

Good afternoon everyone. All this talk of first dates, I can't remember mine. I met DH in my first week at university 9 years ago and can't remember our first date!! But we have been together since my first few weeks at uni so all is good.:D
Does anyone have any nice plans for today? I have been to the gym and then gone grocery shopping and then cleaned the house, not very interesting. We have friends coming over in about 3 hours for dinner though which will be nice.
I guess I better get on with the cleaning (floors still to mop) and then have a nice relaxing bath (I smell of kitchen cleaner right now!!)
Have a good day everyone.

Good Morning All. Wow, it seems like everybody knew their SO awhile before either committing for life or getting married. My DH and I met on April 28th and were married on May 25th. Just ask him, he remembers what time we met, what time we got married, what times our boys were born. I can remember what day they were born but I guess because I don't want to relive the pain I block out things like what the clocks looked like, what the room looked like, stuff like that. I am feeling soooo old right now. UGH!
I got up this morning and everything went Snap! Crackle! Pop! I'm still humming their new theme. It's pretty catchy.
Anywho, chin up ohanafamily! Real soon you'll all be together again. I agree with Lewski709. Being uncomfortable is better than the alternative.
De nada AZKathy. I have such a hard time keeping up with all. I'm a SAHM with my own HBB, I can't imagine how hard it is when you're at work or trying to run errands and still try to keep up. It sure is a hoot to try though.
Is it just me or does the font seem a bit large to anyone else?

OOH that is our anniversary too.

Does anyone know ANYTHING about old west music or can-can dancing??? I've been searching the web for 2 hrs. Sam is in a melodrama and she is not only one of the actresses, she is also choreographer and in charge of getting some piano music. I've tried to find songs from the Golden Horeshoe review at Dis but don't want to buy a whole tape. Just want some dancing instruction.

Sam is at a SAT class till 2 today so I told her I would start the search. Very hard stuff!!

BTW< Sam got selected for girls state. Out of 500 plus juniors, she was one of 4!! you go girl!!
