Hey, I though of a celebrity who passed away and I missed. I'll bet you'll all agree on this one: Princess Diana.

DH loves that stuff too! He cooks it on really high heat so it splatters all over the place and yums it up! Don't they serve it at Donald's Breakfastasaurus? I'm pretty sure they do.

I miss her (Di) too. Her death shocked me so much. I remember DH coming to bed really late and saying "Princess Diana got killed in a wreck". It was like a weird dream. I always read and watch everything about her and her life. Very sad.

DHB, the mommy police have been alerted and as soon as Ella wakes up, one of 'em is comin' to shake you! Bad, bad mommy!

OK I swear only one more post before I leave for home. I still can't believe Di is gone. I sat with tears streaming down my face during her funeral. My DH also woke me up to tell me the news. So sad. And they will not let her rest in peace.

Let's see, what won't I eat. Well, lots of things. I am very picky. I have a problem with certain textures, too. Oh, and I don't like everything all mixed up together. Which makes most Chinese food out of the question. Quacamole, blah...of course, I've never eaten it. I used to be much worse before I went to college & was completely broke & had to eat stuff I normally wouldn't just to survive.

I'm not much of a seafood eater (unless it is fresh, which we don't get much of here in Kentucky). Can't stand the "fishy" smell.

Epson makes a special printer for scrapping. all of the ink is acid free and has "True Color representation". If you can wait until she comes back I would rather not go into her sanctum until she is back. As far as scanners go, we use an HP, Epson advertises that theirs are better I think they actually have a little higher resolution. The difference between the most expensive consumer model and the cheapest model is all about scanning negatives (photo). They also make a really expensive 12X12 scanner that she has to go to the Scrap-book store to use. When she copies a page at home, she has to "Stitch The pages together". I think our cheapy scanner at home does a better job than the expensive one at the scrap book store...

I won't eat anything that tastes like licorice. I hate the stuff, it makes me gag. Yuck! I also can't stand okra. I just don't like the snotty stuff that comes out when you bite into it. It's all sticky and disgusting. Yuck again! Plus, they look like mini versions of the pods from Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

I also don't like to eat any red meat that looks like red meat. If it's marbled or is on a bone of any kind, I get disgusted. Super well done ground meat in a sauce I'll eat. A t-bone will make me run screaming into the night. I also won't eat veal.

But honestly, there's not much I won't try. I like to taste things and discover new stuff. In fact, a few months ago there was fund raiser thrown for our organization and I had to go. It was called "Dining in the Dark."

You go into a pitch black dining room (CAN'T see your hand in front of your face). You only get finger foods or food on a provided spoon or stick. They won't tell you anyting about what you're eating at all. Not even a hint. I had no clue. Ended up eating some veal hypothalumus thing. In retrospect, I know I'd never have eaten that but I do recall thinking it, and everything else I tried, was very tasty.

The funniest part of the night was when everyone was busy trying to figure out what that particular thing was, my coworker who was at my table simply stated (after popping the morsel into her mouth), "I am NOT happy." I couldn't help but laugh my butt off!

As you guys know, my parents are off-the-boat krauts (it's not politically incorrect to say these things when they are your own relatives ). Needless to say, I grew up with things like (sorry, I ate 'em, but I can spell 'em):

Bratwurst
Knockwurst
Metwurst
Liverwurst
Bloodwurst (yuk!)
Pork Hockeys (I forgot to say that I hate animal fat and grizzle!)
Limburger cheese (yuk!)
Hand Cheese with music (the music is the onions )
Sauerbraten (sauerbraten is NOT regular gravy with vinegar added Sheesh!)
