The Tag Fairy

its wake up time people............get a moving........gotta entice the tag fairy and that can't be done if you are catching zzzzzzzz's..........
...catching zzzzzzzz's, I was up trying to catch a giant, killer squirrel!

I spent the better part of yesterday trying to catch a squirrel that decided to invade my home:eek: . One of my cats kept chasing it thru the house...at one point it ran up my leg. (That's when I called my DH & told him to high-tail it home!).

Haven't found out how it got into the house (hope there's not a nest). Forget the 'nanners...in exchange for a tag, I'm offering to barter squirrels w/the Tag Fairy.

keishashadow the squirrel hunter..............

sort of like a moderm crocodile dundee :rolleyes1

Not even a Frost Fairy??? Or a Birthday Fairy???? :confused3

well, i have been looking for a fairy for over 18 months and still come up empty......

Actually, I had to "unexpectedly" leave the house & DH had the honors:guilty: . What's so funny is squirrel hunting season just started in our neck of the woods. DH's mountain-men friends said he should of "bagged that squirrel", instead of letting it go. "Dave, them squirrels are right, good eatin".

Let's not start whining over the lack of tags handed out...in case you haven't noticed I'm tagless...oh the shame!
 Instead of :banana:bait, perhaps we'd do better with squirrels...Tag Fairy might be a carnivore.

all i can say to mtblujeans and keishashadow is........

Yes....but is there a squirrel smilie anywhere? It won't be any fun unless we can line 'em up, dancin'!!

The squirrels are soooooo cute...unfortunately, they do lose their appeal when they run up your leg.:bitelip:

Still feeling somewhat "squirrelly" today, sort of like being in a haunted house...keep waiting for another predator to pounce out @ me :hyper:.

Who needs HHN, I've got a life-time pass to my own Haunted Squirrel House.

keisha, get a cat...............that wil get rid of your squirrels.

i hope you haven't started giving names to those critters yet.....

This is eerie....last night, DH stated he wanted to catch some squirrels in town and bring them out to our property!! :rolleyes2 What the heck for??? I can't tell if he is kidding..... :confused3

i can't stand the squirrels...............i used to enjoy them but that was before they started digging holes in my front yard to hide their nuts

I've got 3 cats, the 2 in management sat & cheered on my Siamese Tinker as he chased the varmit through the house. Once he cornered it, they had a Mexican stand-off, with the cat hissing & the squirrel making noises like I've never heard before!

Glad my dogs were outside, they have a habit of policing the yard of unwanted visitors; but don't think I'd want to witness it first-hand in my house.

I did bestow a name or two on the squirrel, but they're not fit to print here.

We live next to a wooded area and have battled with snakes (evil, slithering beasts), bats & deer encroaching on our space. But, the squirrels seem to be swarming this year - must be a plague.

Seriously, my neighbor tells me the "ding-dong" up the street is feeding them! Figures, only a moron would encourage diseased rodents to congregate apologies to Mickey!

We used to have lots of gophers and lots of holes in the yard. But, we have lots of cats and they took care of them. We kept having kittens cause we couldn't catch some of them to get them fixed!! We've had some pretty healty foxes and coyotes this summer and they must have gotten some of the cats!! :guilty: Now, out of our 6 or 7 cats, we just have 1 cat left that needs to be fixed so she doesn't have more kittens next summer.....maybe DH wants squirrels to keep the cats entertained?? :confused3

Coyotes???? Thought they were almost extinct. We have wild turkeys (no not the drinking kind LOL) and an occasional black bear cub make an appearance...if I look hard enough maybe I'll spot a Tag Fairy. Also, there's a few large hawks. I'm told they've made off with most of the "outside kitties":sad1:
